I had slight issues with pushing out as well but I loved the unique mechanic. Kept me playing through to the end even though I was in a bit of a hurry!

I loved the UI, artstyle and that RADAR display! The gameplay was nice, but I think it's missing that 'oomph' from aesthetics like flashy explosions or sound effects we see in other games in this genre. Boarding was really fun, and a good idea.
A short and cute game with a straightforward message. I liked the artstyle and the 'minigame' implementation! Well done, I'd love to see more themes conveyed like this.
Awesome, the music and art made it for me. Come to think of it, the mechanics too. And I see you like tiny viewports for your games as well. I'd say the only thing that could be missing is a meta-game (who had time for that?). That and some post-jam polish and I wouldn't even be able to tell it was made in 72 hours!
Yeah, great job on phone. Was a little lost at first but I had fun walking around interacting with everything and eventually figuring it out.
A little frustrating to figure out get and used to at first, but very satisfying to succeed! It took me a little while but it became much funner after I figured it took into account the directions they were facing. Love the title and atmosphere. Didn't expect the 2.5d which was a nice touch. I found patience was the key to winning :)
Solid entry! I enjoyed the mechanics. Nice graphics, particularly with the sprites, trees and lighting. And hey, well done on having more than 2 levels that's for sure! If I had a problem with anything is that failing a platforming jump is frustrating. It's honestly a minor nitpick though and a personal one.
I also humbly mention my own ratings :).
@hunttis That's fair enough! I've learned from this time so in future LDs I'm planning to release in HTML5 :)
Nice humour! The jokes made me smile, and carried the general charm of a clicker game. The click sound and coin visuals polished it quite well and I was surprised at how much I engaged with it for a clicker. Also I hate to shill, but my game needs a couple ratings if you've any time to rate before then :).
The art drew me to this one. I was even more pleasantly surprised that the backgrounds and stuff looked good too! Gameplay like others have said is lacking, but honestly I had lots of fun just jumping around - the movement felt really great and fluid (except for when I was getting juggled ;) ).
I liked the theme and disguises, and the sounds made it fun to hit enemies (I didn't have any for mine). I personally prefer enemies to move faster but that's just me.
Also, I think the web port would likely have a sale some time soon if my experience with GM:S 1 is anything to go by.
I didn't expect to see a game like this (..rts?) on LD. It's quite complex for compo so props for that. I don't know if the super-shuddering sprites is intentional, but for me it amped the mood up a notch. Since this isn't a shooter I think the lack of sound is forgivable (what sounds would you even put in there o.o).
I agree with the above that the waves should be quicker and more appear at once. In all the other cases though it's a good base game. I liked the bullet hit effect but it would have felt even with an accompanying sound effect.
Oops! I forgot to publish it, my bad. Should be up now.
Thanks for the feedback. I do agree with all your points! (and that trajectory bug... I knew it existed from the first 24hrs yet I never fixed it in the end!)
Hi all, I have some big assessment due in 1.5 days so I've been unable to rate games recently, nor until then.
However, I'll be aiming to rate another ~20 games later on!
Holy crap a good programming game, nice job! While the mechanics took a little bit to figure out, the only real negative I can think of is the currency-related stuff which you've touched on above. I never felt bored with this one and the hover tips on top are very helpful too.
I think this game could be expanded on in the future and still be fun!
I played this a little longer than I thought I would! I actually do enjoy the A/D turning but I'm just weird. The platforming was fine, except for the slippery walking and lack of (vertical) shadows at night. The UI of course needs some polishing, but the gameplay is there.
Very charming visuals and sound, and a great scale. Good polish.
I think I'll be aiming for a game like this, rather than the time-consuming bloat I've done in the past, in future LDs!
It was difficult to figure out how to win at first, but I enjoyed it. Graphics and theme were both very solid. As others have said, the slow animations and static felt a little uncomfortable, and I think hit sounds would make it awesome and make up for the slower attacks. However, for the amount of other content you have it's great.
Nice job. A physics engine with joining etc. reminds me of Gmod actually! It'd be great to have a score system somehow, but it was fun trying to make a frog-chicken.
An artist! Awesome game. My biggest gripe (minor) was the vendors not showing their upgrades without being in front of them (could be intentional). Also for some reason my brain often got vendors and enemies confused. Great music, cute artwork (certainly made me click), and nice work on the bullet spreads!
Nice, I had some troubles in the beginning (okay, I'd skipped the walls of text) but I loved the theme! Graphics-wise I would sometimes not actually notice certain obstacles, but the sound was solid.
Nice work on making it for your first jam, compo no less! (I didn't make it for my first 2 and barely made it this time lol). Good job with the polish having sound and a tutorial. If I could make a change, it would be better hit feedback and deeper mechanics.
@henanboy I don't remember exactly what I had in mind, but I'm thinking different attack types like Strong/Weak, as an example. Perhaps more weapons and enemies might fit the bill though that isn't really mechanics.
What a nostalgic aesthetic! I think the gameplay could be a little faster, perhaps 1 minute instead.
Nice, a great puzzle game that fits the theme. I ended up spending a lot of time on the levels. The levels are well designed and there are quite a few of them for a game made in 48hrs.
...Dink Smallwood!!!?? These can't be coincidences.
Anyway, the humour was pretty humorous and the save mechanic being more like a teleport was nice, especially with the way it was introduced. Nice work with all the effort in the dialogue!
Getting a 404 on the Itch.io. Have you changed it from draft to publicyet ?
A very interesting game! It's a little difficult to understand but platforming is always fun. The level titles are nice as well.
Awesome! Drawing is fun and love rolling on tables.
I got Geographic Location, Draw a birds eye view perspective of the theme so... I just decided to draw Australia

Adding more tables would be cool because... TABLES!
Edit: God the image is huge.
I really like the way smell works. Would love to see more features :)
Thanks all! I already have a list of post-submission features I want to put in after this week to reduce the tedium!
Now this is cool, a physics-building-puzzle game! I genuinely enjoyed playing through this one, the levels were well designed, it never felt frustrating to beat and was very satisfying to clear each level. The length was great too. I hope you might expand on this in the future with improved building tools, levels, etc.; it's fun! If a polished mobile-game version of this was out there I'd play it for sure.
The music is good and very aesthetic use of zoom too. Graphics are simple of course, but everything else makes up for it.
P.S. I think the download links should mention it's in HTML5!
I love the artstyle and aesthetic. Nice music too. I think there's definitely potential here to expand with the typical fighting game goodness (maps, items)! Overall it's nicely polished with a great upgrade mechanic. Some balance is needed with the items like the grenade but who cares!
I found having no car to be very amusing! The gameplay was surprisingly fun and music was great. Reading the text was difficult though, must be my eyes.
It took me *forever* to realise the player even existed (I just kept pressing play and staring at the number go up), but maybe that's part of the fun. I love the concept, really taking the theme to the max. The flavor text is a very nice touch for the atmosphere, and the decision-making with upgrades is great. I'd have preferred some randomness to the levels so that it's less grindy but I enjoyed it nevertheless!
