Great visual good job!
I really liked that I was almost able to figure out what to press based on the sound and the subconscious finger movement (If I didnt think too much). I also love that you included Mechazawa! hahaha Cons: It was a little difficult to tell what I was doing at first because I wasn't sure if the left side was their future, or past throw, or my throw.
Very charming visuals and sound, and a great scale. Good polish.
I think I'll be aiming for a game like this, rather than the time-consuming bloat I've done in the past, in future LDs!
I have enjoyed it, it is quite addictive. Surprisingly complicated at first especially when repeated options appeared, but then you get the hang of it. Nice visuals, I really liked it. Very polished
would function rather well as a casual mobile game
Very intensive, fast gameplay with simple, but unique concept at once. I love the art style. Keep it up!
Very good game. I like the graphics and sounds fit very well. Also i matches the thema.Good job!
Great graphic,and intense gameplay
Easy to understand, pretty fun. Good job!
@kyavi @jedineeson @aileron @belea @joe-bell @borys @victorcrafty @jincho Thanks for the feedback everyone. :)
@azimuthgames Thanks for the feedback. I should have explained the UI better in the tutorial.
Cool game on every point, I just think that it does not suit the theme this well :/ Like you indeed use your health to do things but it doesn't feel like actual "currency", just usual video games health points. Otherwise it was cool to play, maybe hard (I killed 9 people, don't know if it's good haha), but funny ! Good job :)
Fun game. Really liked the art style. It would have been nice if there was a slight delay between each fight, and if I could see an indication of what I picked. My brain had trouble remembering the keys once the timer was sped up.
The most I managed was 10 kills.
Challenging at start, takes a while to get the hang of it. I think I got to 18 "kills". Nice art and audio!
Pixel art is very nice and everything works well ... nice game
Interesting concept and fun art style! I wish the controls were on the screen, would help on getting started!
@martynas @tasakasama @barrier @niteb Thanks for playing the game / feedback.
@saering I see what you mean. I tried to make it so that you pay a health to make the opponent a little easier, but it could be improved.
@aplite Thanks for the input. A slight cooldown between each fight and some feedback for player input would definitely make it better, I agree.
This is really good! Looks nice and is one of the best examples I've seen of the: getting faster and more intense and more stressful games
It would have helped to have a visual reminder of what each options key was during gameplay. The art style is great. Neat skillgame.
well executed. fun and funny
At first, I found the controls to be really hard to remember, but then once I started associating the controls to the OPPOSITE of what was being shown on the screen (eg: Z = Beat Scissors, X = Beat Rock, C = Beat Paper), it started becoming super addictive. Great work! rps.png
WOW! I got a high score of 28! This was suuuuuper fun to play. Extremely creative with the theme. Overall the only criticisms I have are that timer decreased realllly fast and it's position, relative to the rock/paper/scissors icon, made it hard to see how much time I had left and know when I needed to sacrifice a life when I was so focused on trying to remember which button corresponded to which answer.
@splicedev It’s a pleasure, go check our game I would love to get your comments my friend!
I clocked out at 37 during my best try. 37.PNG
I can only agree with what previous comments said: This is the kind of game that keeps you playing again and again to improve and get a better score. Great interpretation of the theme too. Well done!
That's really satisfying if you can get into a good flow. I only got to 21 so far, but I think this is one that I will be having another go at! Music's real nice, and sound effects are effective. The art is nice, but it could some better separation between foreground and background maybe.
Wow! Highscore of 36 and it took me a while! :-)
Really cool game. I love how you took something so old and simple as RSP and turned it into an action game :-)
The graphics are awesome, I love the perspective pixel art. The music is not up my alley but it is fast and fits the tension that you have while furiously pressing the three buttons.
One thing about the buttons, keyboard layouts differ widely among different countries. For me the Z key is nowhere near the X and C keys and some countries have them all over the place. That said, for this game this is no deal breaker, just something to remember for the future. Holding three fingers over three keys and not having to use the mouse, this is no problem for this game.
The sound effects are simple and effective.
One thing that I notice now, thinking about it is that I don't really know how the people in the game look. I know that they change but all you do is really concetrate on the handful of pixels making up their RSP choice :-)
Overall a really cool game. Keep up the good work!
P.S. I found you by going through the comments on [my game](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/computers-in-a-nutshell#/comment-367842). You said that you got an error message and could not play my game. However, the error messages are part of the game. I hope you come back to it and give it another try. Although the comments are the most important part to me, I would still be disappointed to get a bad score just because I did not make it clear enough what my game really was :-)
