LD44 — Your life is currency

Green Goo by Aggrathon 2019-05-04T14:30:49Z

This is a really interesting game, the mechanic of moving those dots around through space was really unique. it was difficult to figure out all the mechanics, like I needed to put the dots on the asteroids to make mines, and that I needed to put mines on all the types of asteroids. But overall I think you created a really interesting idea that could be consistently fun with some more game design :)

Depths by potatolain 2019-04-30T04:37:48Z

I really liked this, it felt more fun than I expected. I got to just past the storm before drowning. There was a pleasantly surprising amount of dialog and it was fun to hunt out the quirky little nuggets especially the manatees? talking to you as a human. It looks like youve powered through quite a few of these LD, congrats on completing another, and its really interesting that you make these for retro consoles as well!

Seaway by Constantin 2019-05-01T01:42:16Z

Amazing visuals, music and mood, I played it while just because I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The problem is enemies are few and far between, and I couldnt figure out any way to change weapon (even using scroll wheel) and I couldn't buy? anything at the harbors, trying to click on the icons or hit every keyboard key... Congrats though!

Flash Dash Dungeon by Raymoclaus 2019-04-30T02:58:16Z

I didnt realize at first how well theme fit besides your limited time, but the shop really sold it for me. I really liked the choices and difficult decisions presented by the shop items. Max reduction, current reduction or additions. I think some of the max reductions felt strong, like half of your max, but maybe it was something I would get used to as I played more of the game.

Zoltanya, Outdated Robot Fortune Teller by AzimuthGames 2019-04-30T04:20:59Z

@b3agz Yeah sorry I didnt really get ot put much instruction in the first builds. You need to go to the hack menu bottom right and hack one of the green machines by clicking them. @gus-the-shark The responses should have appeared inside a menu you open right above the chatbox by clicking the button. They move down to the chatbox when you click them. @cppchriscpp Ohhh hey man! I'll have to check out your game!

The Gardener Queen by Cobear25 2019-04-30T03:44:41Z

I liked the concept, I think the worker spawner ball broke the game though... Once I had that I could infinitely place build podiums and have all the health and attack I wanted... I don't know if it would break the balance but it would have also been nice to choose the worker type as well.

Rock, Paper Scissors: After (School) Hours Edition by SpliceDev 2019-04-29T04:00:06Z

I really liked that I was almost able to figure out what to press based on the sound and the subconscious finger movement (If I didnt think too much). I also love that you included Mechazawa! hahaha Cons: It was a little difficult to tell what I was doing at first because I wasn't sure if the left side was their future, or past throw, or my throw.

Ce n'est pas un jeu de pointer-et-cliquer by bobismijnnaam 2018-04-23T16:54:02Z

This was an interesting game, I loved the environment changes as you went on and the puzzles weren't TOO difficult to solve. I was unsure in some places what I was supposed to be doing but I still managed to figure it out thanks to the environment not being overcrowded.

Rhythm-Based Twin Stick Zombie Survival Shooter by Niker107 2018-04-23T03:33:26Z

Fun game, I just couldn't keep to the beat when playing! :)

I think the one difficult part of this was, there was no beat indicator to let me know when I could move.. And the one easy part was, the game doesn't have (or much of) a delay penalty for hitting out of beat... so I could just mash the button

Pizza Chef by imKrye 2018-04-24T22:06:32Z

Always appreciate a solid working game. I had similar minor issues as the other commenters, but once I realized I wasn't doing anything wrong, the game was fun. I too rushed around trying to play the game as fast as possible like I was timed :). My game isnt a food based one, but its a simple, unique way to fly. I would appreciate if you checked it out! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/aerowrit-textflight-sim

Tower Defense Paradise! by Sokuaisushi 2018-04-24T05:40:46Z

The role play was pretty funny XD Though the pink text was hard to read. It was a good solid tower defense game and I liked being able to build lots of walls for making a maze. My game is a plane based one at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/aerowrit-textflight-sim

On The Fly by qkjosh 2018-04-24T23:11:01Z

This game was really cute and relaxing. I wish the instruction to hit space was in the game, I wasn't sure what the bars were and if I should avoid or eat the bugs. I also thought the first bird was a little girl with pigtails so I didnt think they would switch till later :) But it was still enjoyable.

AeroWrit - Text/Flight Sim by AzimuthGames 2018-04-24T00:16:50Z

@Dustygriff Thank you, yeah the plan was to build a story around the monster as you collect the major rings, and complete the game at a certain point. I'm posting some fixes for the sensitivity and major ring distance soon, but I'll let you know if I finish all of it!

AeroWrit - Text/Flight Sim by AzimuthGames 2018-04-27T02:12:02Z

Again, thank you everyone for playing my game. I do have quite a bit of experience with Unity, but this was my first ever "completed" game and my first ever Jam. In fact thats what motivated me to do this one because I can never complete a project. And special thank you to @Niker107, that review is very inspiring and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. The plan was to have more story from the radio and encounters with the monster as you collected blue rings, and will definitely have to work on this some more now that I have free time and add those. For now, my only imaginable plans are to keep this a free/pay what you want game. Thanks everyone!

Need for Coin: Island Hoppers by saoi-games 2018-04-23T05:22:28Z

I was a fun game when I embraced the full speed design. I also loved the little balls that coat your car at the end XD. I needed a back-up functionality for when I got stuck on fences.

BDP by Dustygriff 2018-04-23T16:47:38Z

Was funny, wish I knew what BDP was. The walking mode was a little bit of a pain to have to click to move... kinda wish it had wasd control
