I really like the graphics
The game looks cool and I like the premise but I couldn't get any customers! Am I missing something?
I love the graphics and mood of the game. I hacked the monitors and got a customer but then I couldnt give them any response, the text window wasnt allowing typing or something. Anyways, good concept!
Glad to see you still making games!
The graphics for this were quite cool, and I also really like your use of the theme. Rock on!
@b3agz Yeah sorry I didnt really get ot put much instruction in the first builds. You need to go to the hack menu bottom right and hack one of the green machines by clicking them. @gus-the-shark The responses should have appeared inside a menu you open right above the chatbox by clicking the button. They move down to the chatbox when you click them. @cppchriscpp Ohhh hey man! I'll have to check out your game!
This was a good idea and a really creative interpretation of the theme. It's held back a little by being overall buggy though. Particularly, I ran into a lot of issues when entering two terminals before receiving the customer for the first one. Often the first customer would glitch out and stand so that I couldn't read the later customers. Also, in the responses menu, there are some indistinguishable options (such as two that just read "NOT"--I think possibly "NOT FAMOUS" and something else?).
Again, it's a really good idea, so I might try this again if some of the bugs get fixed.
I loved the concept, the automatic fortune tellers were an object of fascination for myself as a child, so this was a solid blast to the past for me. Really interesting take on the theme. I had some trouble figuring out what I was supposed to do at first, had to read the page again. Perhaps a stronger tutorial is needed to ease the player into the role. Really interesting submission!
- This was definitely an innovative idea, at least setting/narrative-wise, not so much the gameplay. - The screen filter effects were making it hard to see icons above heads of NPCs and also the chart behind the main character. - It wasn't clear how I could get NPCs to play your arcade machine without hacking until you lose.
This is a very good interpretation of the theme and l really enjoyed the mood and the art style. I felt transported right away into the fortune teller character in the booth. There's a kind of "Five Nights at Freddy's" vibe too :)
However, I couldn't really play the game... I tried the mini game to get customers, but couldn't figure out how it worked. Maybe an easier level at the beginning would have been good so that we could understand how the hack works.
I would really like to see this game completed, I think it's a very promising concept.
Unfortunately, the Web version of the game (at least for me) is impossible to play as the required inputs during the hacking game don't appear. Not a problem in the Windows build, though.
Excellent interpretation of the theme, probably best take on it I've seen yet.
I absolutely loved the concept of this. What a fun idea and a great interpretation of the theme with beautiful graphics. But gameplay wise it seemed a little messy. The mini-game to get customers was a great idea but didn't have any instructions. I worked out you needed to use your keyboard, unlike the rest of the game which uses the mouse, but the beginning has you pick between boxes in various shades of green. I don't know what difference they made. Then the main game was hard to play as the customers symbols were displayed above their heads, obscured by the 'Zoltanya' writing on her case and a blur effect. It took a while to decipher the symbol through the blur, then turn around to check the symbols meaning, then respond with the correct word as all of the choices are the same font and often similar words. Then when I gave a correct answer the customer just walked away, there was nothing to show that I had succeeded. Still a very interesting idea and given a bit more time i'm sure it could be a great game.
I gave the web version a shot, but had to swap to the Windows build as well for the same reason as Melmo. The inputs for the hacking mini-game don't appear on the web version.
The graphics and mood tie in well together. I remember seeing one of these machines in just about every arcade I visited, though I don't think I ever saw one used. This game is has a very unique premise, which is pretty cool. I think it's a good take on the theme.
The distortion vignette on the camera did make it slightly difficult to read the text on the board behind Zoltanya and on the customers. It wasn't impossible to read, but disabling or fading out that distortion to better see the text and symbols would be nice.
This game was pretty interesting. Hope you can find time to fix the web version's display bug. I think some folks might miss out if they play a broken version of the game.
Really cool take on the theme and really nice graphics. Ran into a few bugs here and there as any ld game would, but I’m not one to complain. Great job!
Really like how it looks
