Fun idea and cool art style too!

Interesting art style, funny names, not sure I entirely got the game though!

franklins-ghost 2019-05-05 07:00

Liked the art style thought it worked well and the starting dialogue worked well at setting up the game.

I really can't figure out what to do. Maybe you can tell player more about game playing.

gamefive 2019-05-18 10:39

Good game!!!

cool unique approach to the theme. i like the way you drew everything, the style is very dope (also the slayer poster). very cool very sexy.

Interesting art style! You do need to explain a bit better how the basic interactions work in the description here or in the game. :)

(and straight downloads are easier to handle than game installers - cleanup after is harder then :P)

Game looks very interesting but sadly I could not figure out how to thrive. Aside from sending the patient to the bed could not find anything else he could interact with.

In any case, it is a very interesting approach and the game is well done. Also kudos for the artstyle.

All in all a solid entry! Keep up the hard work!

Cool idea, I think the text at the bottom goes too fast. I was trying to read it and find out what to do but it kept skipping and I was left clicking on random spots for a long time hoping things would happen. I guess I'm taking care of patients in a hospital, making sure they go to the bathroom and get rest and whatnot? A full on tutorial is probably too much to ask for during LD but if you put the goal or other controls on the LD page or the games page it'd probably help a bunch.

Really cool idea, but (at least in the compo version) there's a few bugs that get in the way a bit too much - eventually my doctor decided he'd just wander off through a wall and his pathfinding never worked quite right after that.

Real ambitious concept, and I like the combination of childish & satirical humour in the concept & execution. I've made a note to come back and check out the post-compo version after the ratings are in!

I didn't expect to see a game like this (..rts?) on LD. It's quite complex for compo so props for that. I don't know if the super-shuddering sprites is intentional, but for me it amped the mood up a notch. Since this isn't a shooter I think the lack of sound is forgivable (what sounds would you even put in there o.o).

Took me a while to figure out what to do in the original version, but after I went ahead and tried out the Post-LD it made a lot more sense. It could have used a bit of text or something in the LD version - but honestly, for a COMPO game, this is pretty impressive!

It was a bit funny but pretty buggy - that said, I'm sure you fixed most of them in the Post Version.

The one thing that was annoying was having to go through the installer to play the game itself - when doing things for LD I don't think most people want to install and then remember to uninstall their games - mostly it's a run, rate, remove.

All in all, an interesting albeit confusing compo entry, but I'm glad that you spent the time to improve it afterwards!

Thank you @radnyx @dignz @franklins-ghost @gamefive @hangacs @goog @aurel @aileron @rjhelms @multiplexor @cdunham @joror :)

That was very encouraging to push further and get closer to what i wanted, despite I hated the unfinnished work I could bring for compo :) I may ping you here if I ever finish this, just for the fun ;)

Thanks! <3<3<3
