Really tough but I really liked the idea controlling the whole world

beck-haywood 2021-10-05 16:08

Cute characters, I also enjoyed the stressful tree chopping while the lava was pouring onto me!!

Once I actually understood the game I thought it was really fun I made it to the end! I liked micro manging the sleems while managing the lava at the same time.

It's a cute game with a nice music. good work!

zubspace 2021-10-05 16:13

Very cute game with a nice progression! Took me a few attempts to understand what to do, but then I kept rolling, building my army of sleems!

Very creative. Good combination of 2D and 3D. Especially enjoyed the sleem animations! <3

belickim 2021-10-05 16:21

The idea is really cute! I wish the game was a bit faster - gathering resources takes quite a lot of time and the lava is barely a threat with how slowly it moved :)

I love the characters and the music is just perfect for the game! I hope to play it again one day :)

magnanix 2021-10-06 06:19

Nice! I made it to the end with 4 sleems, but no matter what I did - the interaction with the "Winning" sign did nothing :P.

ryanjavanshir 2021-10-06 20:39

Nice entry! I liked the mechanic of moving the world instead of the player. Resource gathering was a tad slow I found. Really nice art and loved the chirpy music.

derlan-almeida 2021-10-06 21:14

Fun gameplay, cute character.

I wish the gathering was a little faster, or maybe if u have more sleems, the gathring speed would be increased, so that would motivate you to have more on party.

I got really excited when I realized that the tilting of the world controlled if the enemy was coming for me or not. Neat mechanic! Main characters are cute, although I did find it difficult to switch between controlling them and tilting the world. I felt a little like a pretzel! Would be cool to see this modified for a tablet/phone where you tilt your device. Fun idea, executed well! Great job!

brainloaf-studio 2021-10-06 23:35

What an adorable game! I loved having to manage multiple Sleems at once, and having them work together as every tilt brought the lava closer and closer. I like how cute the art style is too. I do wish there was a win screen for the poor Sleems to finally escape the lava, though. Great work!

bqq 2021-10-07 19:06

Very cute game! Nice progression with getting multiple Sleems, maybe it could be spread out a bit more, at least I was playing with one first and then suddenly had 6 :D Really unique art style that works well and cheerful music, good job!

terabyte 2021-10-07 22:00

Cute game! I love it! Nice job!

dekajoo 2021-10-09 11:50

Very relaxing game and the game mechanic is so unique. Bravo. I love the mix of pixel art 2d and low poly 3d for the environment! A win screen would be the only thing I would add :)

awesomealliterationalliance 2021-10-09 12:01

This is so cute and relaxing. I loved the music and the crafting is fun! I would have liked to have kind of a feedback after finishing the game. Maybe just a triggered ending screen would do the trick.

ninjacatz 2021-10-09 12:04

I thought that lava was a big clot of flesh trying to swallow me xD

skyward4d 2021-10-09 12:08

The textures and particle effects looked great. Giving the players control over tilting the world was an interesting way to let them move mutiple characters around at once using only a keyboard, and the fact that the tilt also determined the flow of the lava made moving your characters a double-edged sword, making for some interesting gameplay. Really fun little game, nice work!

codeman1010 2021-10-09 21:56

This is one of the best games I have played this Game Jam, amazing job. Took me a second to get the controls and goals but once I did I had a blast!

theblindeye 2021-10-11 21:14

Really cute game. I love the character and also the graphics.

Good job :D

sibi 2021-10-11 21:18

This was a blast! Not sure if I won, but I reached the "You Win" sign and then sacrificed everyone to the lava. Super adorable creatures these Sleems <3 One of my favorites that I've played this jam so far. Really enjoyed managing all my little Sleems.

2021-10-11 21:19

Very fun game! I really like the use of traditional rts mechanics. would love to see this concept expanded on.

animalx 2021-10-11 21:20

Enjoyed playing this a lot! Always like a good gathering/crafting type game, so good job. Maybe the lava shouldn't be affected too much by tilting the world backwards, you can just have the sleems do a job and keep the world tilted backwards to avoid the lava coming in. I'd have loved it if it was a bit more hectic! Overall great game

memoryfloater 2021-10-12 16:00

A big thanks to all of you for playing my game. I'm sorry for the lack of a proper ending. Fact is I did the entire level-design with progression balancing and sounds in the last hour. Its interesting to see how some people say its too hard while others say its too easy, this confirms my testing where the game gets harder the faster you try to play it.

Originally I had the idea of letting the Sleems build actual structures to fight off enemies that are coming from the right while they run from the lava on the left. This would have created a constant "struggle/unstableness" where your built structures get burned by lava while having to rebuild and fight off more enemies at the same time. I may expand this into a full game if I get the time.

jpatchz 2021-10-16 09:07

Very cute game. The music fits the game very well. I love to see the sleems roll around there, for some reason it makes me feel happy. The ideia you had is very inventive. I'd love to see it on actually motion controls. I'm amazed you did it on your own in so little time.

Hey there! This game was really amazing to play! Thanks for joining us live!

I really enjoyed the concept of your game, you managed to mix two genre that should not mix well together, but actually blend perfectly!

I finally had the time to come back and rate everything I played so far!
