Nice concept.

Nice concept.
Got to level 8 and a score of 47,000.
It got frantic near the end as the hordes were closing in, which definitely helped with the mood.
Like the active mechanic, definitely had me sucked in.
Simpe and fun concept, cool graphics and music! Very enjoyable gamne!
Bonus points for providing a Mac build, but I get pinwheel of death after the second screen.
Beautiful intro screen!
@mollusk Sorry for that! I think there are a couple Godot console errors that break the final build, but don't affect the debug build. I've re-uploaded and tested both windows and mac apps with debug enabled, so they should work now. If not, the web version is the safest bet: https://amoniker.itch.io/summonundrum
Cool game, fast paced and the graphics look great
Fun & addictive! My brain was fatiguing keeping up in a good way.
Hey buddy, I'm now eating while playing your game. It's a real challenge not to choke on my food laughing. Your game is fantastic – the difficulty is spot-on and it all comes together so well. Looks like our team has loads to learn from you. Cheers to that, my friend.
It's a real crackerjack of a game—I'm on level 9 with 53,900 points, It's got me buzzing like a bee!And I'm aiming to climb the ranks and join the high-score hall of fame!
Really fun gameplay that is unique.
I recommend using asset packs instead of AI. Itch has a ton up for free and non-commercial licenses. Or just take a shot at your own even if you're not an artist. You may find it surprising what you can achieve with some default engine assets.
@keven-ray I used both asset packs and AI.
The graphics and audio are criminally good. I also love the gameplay idea; even though it's pretty simple, I feel like there's room as a player to improve at it, and every player wants to feel that.
Super intense and fun. Loved how the combos worked and fighting through the waves was a blast. Great work!
Really brillant! Graphics are very nice, sounds are cool, gameplay is great. Cool mix of different game styles.
Maybe, surviving monsters could re-align after some died. This way could improve the combo-managment gameplay instead of just manage the random.
One of the coolest game I played this days.
Nice idea and well executed!
Got into it really quicky, helped by great graphics and music to cheer you on. Not easy at all,but a fun challenge!
Surprisingly fun! Loved it.
**Me**: Heh, it's not that difficult. **Second monster icon**: appears
The game is addictive, nice work!
It's really fun and I love the art!
Amazing art! Sound was great, too. Fun and simple gameplay. Canceling the spell with Escape wouldn't work in full screen web mode, though. Hope you had fun making this!
First, bless you for the web build. Second, gamepad worked really well. Looks good, plays decently, and all the assets work together well.
I was often confused with the controls at first, but then it got better and I even felt some excitement from the game.
really fun game! Everything clicked right away for me, fun and not too complicated. Music and visuals work well together.
I liked planning my combos to take down chains of enemies - around level 6 it started to get frantic and I felt limited by how quickly I could navigate the icons! I wonder if every ability had a unique key (QWE/ASD/ZXC) it I could go further.
The game for me is beautiful in every aspect, nice work.
Very dynamic and fun!)
Really love the chaining mechanic and how often it gets to be useful. Also the music is a bop.
The gameplay is very simple, but at the same time quite challenging and fun. In fact, all the components of the game are extremely cool, it's a pity that they are not custom-made.
Nice game-loop and enjoyable and challenging mechanics! Great work!
Thanks for the web build! Great game, Sparklepants! Simple yet challenging, easy to learn controls, good pace. Love the art, music and sound. I encountered zero bugs that I know of. The mechanic is really fun. Thanks for the entry!
Nice game! I took a few tries to figure out the controls (even though you described it), but once I got it, it fun!

Sick game! The art is great, the music has me jamming. The gameplay has me playing multiple rounds! Keep working on it post-LD
Can you please make this game happen for real. Add a storry and a way to customize charakters or get new once. Hands down the best game so far.
I like this game! You guys are great!
Nice game, very interesting concept.
so cool this game is,love this one so much, wish for more content to play,or more levels
Everything is very well done and fun. The art is great. I believe that maybe you can click on the monster and each ability being a different key can make everything more dynamic. Great job!
Great submission! The gameplay was easy to understand and well explained at the beginning. Was very much hooked on getting combos and the overall fast paced nature the game had.
This clearly had a lot of thought put into it Well Done!
Very fun concept, and a great base to expand from too, so many potential mechanics come to mind!
I really liked this game its very easy to understand from the beginning which helps the immediate emergence into the game.Every time I got a game over I just wanted to try again and see if this time I could just do a little better.
Thanks for stopping by the stream and sharing your game last night!
Great job on the submission and good luck with the gaming!
It weirdly reminds me of old Neo-Geo arcade games: flashy graphics, fast-paced music, addictive gameplay, the high score - and you lose quickly too!
I just want to play again and again - here's another quarter!
On a side-note, as an artist, I'm thankful that you opted out from the Graphics and Audio rating categories. That actually means a lot <3
Pretty decent!
I felt like some skills were significantly weaker than the others, turning the corresponding enemies into stronger ones in comparison. Followed by weird realization of "okay, I probably shouldn't use this one for anything but swords" XD
Wow I wasn't expecting this to be so fun!! It's kind of like a rhythm game, the music is great, gameplay tight - well done guys!
Edit: forgot to say this is the hardest name I have ever tried to pronounce xD
This is the most fun game I've played yet in the jam! Very satisfying.
This is great: the stakes are high, the gameplay is fast-paced, and it's just downright fun. Great job!
At the beginning it was hard to understand the game without reading a tutorial, but after it was extremely fun to play. Well done!
I think I may have destroyed my wrist playing this game, which shows how good and addictive it is! Graphcis and music and really good and fitting, and the difficulty is well balanced to keep you always on the cusp of losing but able to still manage the horde.

Fun and engaging, fast enough that it kept me on my toes without feeling unfair.
Hitting esc to back out of a selection was a bit unintuitive even though I knew about it, so might I suggest mapping <- / a to cancel if you are already on the leftmost row of enemies?
Also 🤘 to the font.
This game was amazing. I didn't fully understand the game until my third playthrough, but after two I was so pumped to go again that I couldn't wait to get going again. The risk/reward of waiting for a chain vs getting rid of enemies as fast as possible, and the split second decisions of which hero to use for the abilities that are shared - it's really great design.
The difficulty ramps up at a good rate, the music is a bop (even if you didn't make it, still adds to the experience) and I enjoyed my time with it a lot. Fantastic job.
Nice intro art! Graphics, audio and game play match well. The mechanics are original, maybe they already exist but I didn't know.
Great job!
I uploaded my playthrough to YouTube! Annoyingly, the original video I took didn't record properly, and I only got the narration. I recorded a second video, but put the original audio first so you could get a sense of what it was like for me to learn the game. Apologies for this mistake, I hope the video is still useful for you!
(I was more than happy enough to play through this one another few times though, excellent entry)

I didnt really know which symbol was meant to kill which enemy so i tried them all until it worked. Nice entry tho, i like what you were going for
Very nice! Got to level 9. Got a crazy big combo that wiped almost all of the screen.
