LD55 — Summoning

Beckoned to Battle by firellon 2024-04-24T23:42:35Z

I had a lot of fun trying out different strategies, but conquering territories the wild way is really more fun.

The art images are really pretty and original, and the music really sets the mood. Maybe a bit soft for my method... Attack!

Good idea and good gameplay!

Summon a Succubus by fullmontis 2024-04-24T14:16:36Z

The theme is respected and the puzzle mechanics work well... for a subject that's up to the task!

Unexpected to see this here, as I thought I'd be seeing games accessible to everyone!

The Summoning at River's Edge by Flaterectomy 2024-04-21T20:28:16Z

I'm not a fan of this type of game, but I think it's well written. Unintentionally, I seem to have got the best ending.

Great story, good job!

Unsummoning Dark Creatures by angry-cyboot 2024-04-19T20:52:32Z

Interesting use of the theme.

I wanted to send all the creatures back to their world. It's not possible to complete the procedure if the creature is too close to a village or the map boundary because one of the squares is no longer accessible. In this situation, I can't change the color.

Maybe vary the color code for each creature in the return procedure.

The creatures are harmless to the village, I let four of them do it and just the torches were destroyed... and I send them back easily without too much fear for my character.

A soundscape could greatly enhance immersion.

Sorry for the harsh feedback, but I think you've got a good idea that just needs a little polishing.

Loyalty by Erik Tate 2024-04-18T23:05:02Z

The design is good and the protagonists well done. The interaction between the two is well-balanced, with each path requiring a bit of thought before succeeding, and the difficulty increasing in a well-balanced way. Well done!

Ars Vocandi by abcdef65g 2024-04-22T20:31:14Z

It always takes me a while to adapt to the card game, which isn't really my preferred style. But it's relatively intuitive compared to other games.

I've been able to play a few games and enjoy myself, so it's a good game even for a novice.

Great job!

Unholy Sanctum by elemel 2024-04-17T13:40:09Z

I was excited when I started playing. I thought what's going to happen after I've resisted the end of the timer... and it was already over :_( I liked it and expected a little more playing time. Good base and potential, well done!

The timer click (I guess that's it) is a bit aggressive.

Diago - A Ludum Dare 55 Gmae by givit-game-studios 2024-04-17T16:55:29Z

For a roguelike made all by yourself, it's cool, you can really see the potential. But I can't find the "Summoming" theme. Instead of a shooter, there's a wizard who casts a flurry of spells, and when he's killed enough enemies or collected rare artifacts from chests, he can summon a super attack.

Good work, though, even if it's not finished.

Turret Queen by leparlon 2024-05-01T18:36:27Z

It had been a long time since I'd played a shoot'em up. I enjoyed it and good memories came flooding back.

On the other hand, I find the "summoning" theme unclear or lacking in description regarding its integration.

In any case, great job for doing it all by yourself!

Dark Ritual by dvdagames 2024-04-23T21:19:42Z

The pixel art presentation on your page is gorgeous! Congratulations!

The basic game mechanics are interesting, but need some fine-tuning. The option menu is empty and when I reset during the game my mage sometimes ends up in a place where only my ghost version can go. Lack of time for one person I guess.

I don't mind the ending, on the contrary. In most stories, the hero wins and all's well that ends well. He may die or even fail to achieve his goal, but that could be the real ending. The way it's told changes everything, and that can be a strong point.

Bravo for your work!

The Great Witch by lectvs 2024-04-17T21:49:11Z

It's a kind of addictive tower defense done right. The mechanics are balanced to be neither too easy nor too hard. The graphics are clean... I love it! congratulations!

Gacha Panic by Squidly 2024-04-21T16:01:12Z

If only I could pay my rent like that! ;)

Good fun and really cute design with sweet colors, but when there are people on screen the game slows down and jerks.

Nice job!Gatcha.JPG

Hellcaster by p-r 2024-04-21T19:39:14Z

Handling the game is unusual, but not impossible. The puzzle system is interesting and gets the brain working.

The environment and ambience is a little austere, perhaps decorate the interface around it (lack of time I suppose).

Good work, though!

Necrunmancer by Adam Martin 2024-04-18T23:35:48Z

I'm discovering this type of mechanic with your game which, fortunately, isn't too difficult. But I must have the wrong strategy. It's going to take me a bit of practice to understand the distribution of the cards, the number I can use depending on the turn and the bonuses earned. I had the impression that I often had a bad hand. Anyway, good job!

Tristram by Rongo Matane 2024-04-20T22:10:10Z

This is the most solid proposal I've tested so far, but there are plenty of others.

It remains on a high level of finish in every area, so I was keen to keep moving forward with the adventure.

Excellent proposal, congratulations!

Kalòmancer by BinarySpark 2024-04-17T23:58:18Z

I don't usually play cards, but after trying it I'm surprised. Put your game aside and come back to it quietly after the game jam. Nice graphics and design, nice job!

Purrfect Stack by JPiolho 2024-04-17T17:19:12Z

The Tricky Towers style is my weak point, with more shapes represented by cats in different poses. Great idea!

Riot in Hell by tthe 2024-04-16T21:58:23Z

The mechanics are addictive once you get the hang of it... which wasn't quick for me. But I got into the game to see how far I could take it. Perhaps it lacks some variation in the action or events... like a Boss or something that changes enemy wave continuously. ... And I wish it had sound! :_(

Nevertheless, good job!

Summonundrum by James Greenleaf 2024-04-20T16:50:54Z

Nice intro art! Graphics, audio and game play match well. The mechanics are original, maybe they already exist but I didn't know.

Great job!

Nose Deep In A Book by Yorsh 2024-04-16T23:18:06Z

Oh Yeah! It's a pity it's so short, despite having spent some time. Once you understand how to make the runes and their meanings, it becomes really fun! For the broken pot no problem, but for the cat and the plant I couldn't finalize the invocation by doing it in the order requested. "SPOILER" I had to do it like this: action + location + subject. Since the action is an opposite for these two subjects, I can only start with that, not finish. But it still works! I like the idea of this game mechanic and the design! The character's style and those stretching efforts when he incites... really original!

Well done!

Kitty Conjurer by Tyler Slabinski 2024-04-17T02:23:06Z

Enjoy with an herbal tea, in a warm, quiet place. Take time to find the solution. Maybe spice things up a bit... like with moving enemies or a timer for some cats.

Nice job!

Bean and Brew by RunicPixels 2024-04-21T16:50:50Z

Good feeling with the gameplay once mastered, and the background scenery that gives that depth effect when moving is a ++ detail.

The mix of pixel art and more modern graphics goes well together.

I like the sound ambiance too, but sometimes the sound is choppy when I'm bouncing around and freezes when there's a scene change.

Nice game!

Combirunes by DreamTeck 2024-04-19T16:28:07Z

Nice time playing your game.

I found it easy to use right from the start, the tutorial is clear and simple to understand how to do the invocations.

The graphics and sound ambiance go well together, maybe use a different music in combat as the other is perfect for the store.

No sound bugs, it seems... it's a cool game!

Polarity by Avi 2024-04-18T00:44:49Z

In the style of Asteroids, but with different mechanics and pretty graphics... it brings back fond memories. Despite the game's description of invoking bombs or gravitational fields, I'm having trouble getting a feel for the Summoming theme. In any case, great work!

Zarguuf The Summoner by Juutis 2024-05-01T20:02:32Z

Zarguuf is a fine demonstration of monochrome pixel art.

It's not easy at first, but once you get used to it, it's worth continuing.

Good job!

Dungeon Evoker by VPhyre 2024-04-21T17:13:16Z

I thought it was going to be as hard as Guitar Hero, but it's okay.

It's a good idea to vary the game mechanics by sending the requested color.

Good project!

The Demon Ate My Homework by very dark lord 2024-04-17T17:48:14Z

The pixel style, the funny story and protagonist, the atmosphere, and the truly original summoning mechanics... congratulations on a job well done!

It seems to me that two different pieces of music are playing at the same time.

The Demon Ate My Homework by very dark lord 2024-04-17T23:14:01Z

@very-dark-lord The bug with the two music tracks has apparently been solved, I only made one attempt. It was just after the introductory dialogue, I think. Thanks for all your hard work!

King of the Pit by Alkemiste 2024-05-01T18:16:34Z

I like the game mechanics, it's original.

Collecting the crystals requires precision (a little too much), because you really have to go to the exact spot where the crystals are. But I suppose that's part of the difficulty, as there's no life level, you just have to stay on the platform.

With background music, it would have been great!

Anyway, good job!

The Summoner's Apprentice by magus77 2024-04-17T01:03:25Z

I like the idea of a different order every day to practice summoning from Aurelius, with the story that goes with it. He's not afraid of me making a mess... in fact, I think I've broken the summoning circle ;) It doesn't show me any correct invocations when it seems to me I've done everything right... apparently not! As you said in your message (...a first on Godot!) the atmosphere and scenery are minimalist, but that doesn't prevent immersion.

Good idea for a game mechanic, bravo!

The footsteps are a bit loud.

A Grave Mistake by JUSTCAMH 2024-04-26T12:52:59Z

What a great idea to make the blocks evolve on different inclined planes, it gives crazy possibilities to make incredible levels. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but that's when the fun starts.

Character movement is well balanced.

The pixel art style is well mastered, as is the chiptune music, which goes very well with the atmosphere and style of the game.

Gravedigger that I am, you saved my night!

It's a nice surprise and I had a great time.

Thanks for your game, congratulations!

Are there any other secret tombs to read?Capture.JPG

Demon Sealer by OwlyCode 2024-04-17T22:07:11Z

An original and interesting game mechanic. Bravo! Special mention for the soundtrack to Laaren (@francoisd?) and @makse. I don't know if the two of you do the music together or if it's just one of you, but if you have links to listen to your music on soundcloud or whatever, I'd love to hear them!

Demon Sealer by OwlyCode 2024-04-18T11:03:49Z

@francoisd

Oh thank you!

My Little Demons by Kaish 2024-04-24T00:28:08Z

The pixel art is successful, as is the platform style.

It makes you want to see more levels, as the mechanics allow for many interesting things.

A cockroach is not what it seems! bla bli bloup!

Thanks for your game!

Ouija Boy: What's My Name? by VaustXIII 2024-05-01T19:42:42Z

Good guessing with the ouija board. The graphics and sound go well together for this type of game.

English is not my mother tongue and my vocabulary is very limited... I wasn't able to fully enjoy the game.

But I really enjoyed the rest of it, well done!

Sketch-a-summon by sver 2024-04-18T21:47:29Z

Good pixel art and interesting mechanics. I was surprised by the amount of bats, it's directly intense.

Salmoning by kuviman 2024-04-20T20:43:38Z

"like a fish in water"!

I had a lot of fun and relaxed... as a team!

It's really easy to play and works well, different view, humor and more... Thanks for a great time!

Congratulations!

Penguinology by Smidgens 2024-04-23T22:56:11Z

Oh boy! I can't take it anymore, I understand why he had little description!

My stomach hurts so much I'm laughing!

So cute... and yet. Lala lala!

Really good idea and well done, congratulations!!

Oh! It works fine on Firefox for me.Capture.JPG

Summoning Sun by Kamuniaft 2024-04-21T14:54:44Z

Bewitching and enchanting!

The game mechanics are simple, yet effective and original.

Wait... what...? Where am I? Why am I wearing a dress? .......

I've never played this game

Toad-O-Mental by WMute 2024-04-24T00:56:08Z

The graphics are beautiful, the atmosphere is pleasant and the title screen art is incredible!

It's a good idea to exploit, but the difficulty balance needs fine-tuning. I only used fire and that was enough to finish.

Maybe add some sound effects depending on the invocation, like splash for water and so on...

The cat summoner sometimes takes an indirect route if I select a tile a bit far away instead of going straight ahead.

Anyway, good job!

Billy's Band by picross 2024-04-24T23:18:27Z

Now that's a mashup!

MJ's head is really crazy!

Good work!

Summoning for Dummies by erebrus 2024-04-18T20:14:35Z

Beautiful graphic design and gameplay. You've done a great job! Sometimes the little demons grouped near the altar stick to it and won't take up space around it, preventing me from summoning.

Poltergeist for Hire by JudJudson 2024-04-18T08:07:21Z

The basic concept attracted me. As a butler, I was thinking of responding to the father of the family's request by using summoning, which would have been original and effective. Although the game description mentions that it's the father of the family who summons me, when I carry out my tasks I'm not reminded of the summoming theme. With a nice potential of exploitation and a small improvement of the gameplay (some objects can block or disappear), it would be cool! Still, you've done a great job!

Summoning the Demonning by GroseilleDodue 2024-05-01T20:22:02Z

The graphic art is really good and so is the idea behind the recipes.

Sometimes an ingredient stays in my hands after I drop it, or it gets dropped but isn't counted in the cauldron.

Great job!

The Ordnancer by ForceElementZ 2024-04-19T13:35:21Z

Your style is really good. The choice of design, the animation... it's all coherent. Some commercial games don't always have this quality. There are things to refine or add, such as more details about the story, new enemies and so on... but the main thing is there. It's a good base for a popular game!

One person and 72 hours to make the game... Bravo!

Horrors from Beyond - The Bayou by GameDevTraum 2024-04-23T23:57:37Z

You've clearly succeeded in creating an eerie atmosphere. At first I didn't want to put my foot in the water! :)

Thanks for the chills, good job!

Bendirat by Enad96 2024-04-17T23:06:48Z

Thank you Covid... well no... but yes anyway. This atmosphere... Waow! Who's in charge of the music? Did you compose it or use a sound bank?

Nice job!

SUMMON THE COLOSSUS by aerloth 2024-04-17T01:58:58Z

"Atmospheric experience" is a well-chosen term. That feeling of space and immensity, accompanied by that soundtrack... it's so good it gives you goose bumps! The soundtrack reminds me of producer Lorn's style, dark with the occasional glimmer of light... I really appreciate it. The intro is cool, setting the tone straight with the film credits style. The sonar mechanism for opening doors or finding your way around is particularly appealing to me. The mechanics are pretty well balanced, and so are the movements compared to the scenery, with lots of depth. The scenery is minimalist but effective, except for the fixed view, which can cause problems on elements of the scenery that you can't see when you go back... and a few collision bugs, but nothing serious to appreciate. Maybe I didn't do everything I could to summon the colossus, but I would have liked to see it.

Well done for all your hard work!

Thanks for the sound Sato!

Sumémon: Number Nimrods by SlavTurtle 2024-04-17T00:03:26Z

Excellent for working on mental arithmetic... your games will be of great use to me ;) On the other hand, I don't feel the summoming theme only when playing with numbers... or else I'm too bad and I've missed it!

The mechanics are an original idea, thank you for your game!

Do NOT Summon the Kraken by Willby 2024-04-19T14:12:22Z

Story, humor, voice... I had a great time playing your game because of that and the atmosphere! Nice

Invocation by FullSaphir 2024-04-18T07:33:36Z

The game's idea is interesting, with original mechanics that suggest more complex combo possibilities for a sequel. However, you'll need to be patient and have a good memory (or note) to reproduce the combinations you inadvertently find. Well done!

Master Of The Pit by ecenizo 2024-04-18T11:58:49Z

At first glance, the level of difficulty seems very high right from the start. But once you've understood the mechanics and the strengths and weaknesses of your characters and enemies alike, you can look forward to completing the game. Great fun!

Ghostly Lens by MorePixels 2024-04-22T21:03:40Z

Clearly I'm too bad to get into youtube, more preoccupied with cats and mini games instead of summoning and filming ghosts. :)

The soundtrack is a bit weak.

I like the pixel graphic style, you nailed it!

Throes of the Javelin by MatterLinx 2024-05-01T20:44:17Z

The mechanics are really good without being too difficult, and offer interesting possibilities for future levels.

The pixel art of the scenery and the character are beautiful. I love the music, which sets a peaceful mood.

It's a good game! Congratulations!

The Unlikely Messenger by T90. 2024-04-18T14:09:43Z

I had a few problems moving around when I was too close to trees or when I tried to go diagonally, as if it was hanging. Once my first life bar ran out, I was invincible. Even if you've been warned, it feels weird. The design and graphics are beautiful. Well done!

The Unlikely Messenger by T90. 2024-04-18T14:45:30Z

@nicekot

OK, apart from that, for a first, it's really good. The design character is also qualitative!

CHERAX DESTRUCTOR by hamblock 2024-05-01T18:55:54Z

I've tried to use the words indicated when we do esc. Some are activated, in my taskbar, but nothing happens on the map.

I'm sure there's some interesting mechanic I haven't seen or understood, but it lacks explanation (or the game isn't finished).

Good luck!

Harod: The Eternal Summoning by KPidS 2024-04-18T21:17:21Z

Power like that... and invincible! So many years of suffering for their war, for the two enemy camps... there'd have to be a fourth end to have peace!... EXTREME!!!

Sorry... but seriously, I loved the story, the game and the atmosphere. Well done!

Command: Summon by Gastar 2024-04-18T08:47:59Z

The use of the terminal to move through the game, in addition to the gameplay on the map, is truly original. I don't quite feel the summoming theme when I use the terminal. But it's good work!

NecroCooker by noagard 2024-04-24T20:05:11Z

I didn't manage to use the altar as indicated in the description. I've been able to explore the map and even exit it, harvesting skeleton parts by killing them.

Enemies don't do anything to me.

Once I've put the items on the altar in the right place, I press E. Everything disappears, the altar flashes red and... nothing! I have to start again.

In practical terms, it lacks any indication.

The graphics are clean, but the game's screen format is really small and impractical.

The music is adaptable but redundant.

All in all, good work! Capture.JPGCapture1.JPGCapture2.JPG

The Book of Summons by TROGDOR 20X6 2024-04-24T21:39:08Z

I really like the idea that each symbol has a translation, making it a kind of riddle. It reminds me of “Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure” or “Loom”, it seems to me that there's a similar mechanic to deciphering and playing a musical score.

The atmosphere is excellent, and it really feels like you're experimenting with summoning.

I didn't find everything on the first try, so I used the solution for ******** and ******. This gave me 10/10 in incovation but 0/7 in solved pages...?

In any case, great work!

Fiesta De Las Quimeras! by Jean-Francois 2024-04-23T12:58:47Z

@krummsakura BOOONNNG........... Uh! Aaaaaaah! Thank you for resurrecting me with your invocation and your comment on our game!

Mmmm..... I'm missing my nose (thankfully not my ears!).... I think it comes from the incantation of "A5's deep chord". (I'm self-taught, no notion of music theory as I'm allergic to that).

As far as the sound is concerned, I used mostly a symphony orchestra vst. What you liked was a marimba... I would have been wrong too ;)

I tried to recall the musical style of the country of origin with what I had. For the title screen theme, the guitar is a vst, and I simulated a kind of Mexican flute or ocarina recorded by blowing into a beer bottle :) I play sound eggs on this one, and on the current game track it's my hands that rub and clap clap.

Apart from the wind (vst), all the sound effects were done by mouth and whatever I had on hand. I really enjoyed myself!

Thanks for checking out my work and commenting on our project, my day is better too!

Summonware by HelperWesley 2024-04-20T22:59:07Z

The game's excellent animation and design really set it apart.

It's satisfying to try out this kind of fun project, with the different mini games.

In any case, I'm glad to discover it. Good proposal!

That's My Stop by Meranolean 2024-04-18T12:32:00Z

Okay, this requires skill and quick adaptation to the difficulty that arrives more or less quickly. It's not unfeasible, but it's hard enough to get to around 130 miles.

A real challenge!

Dr. Kappasigma's Summoning Training by Crygos 2024-04-17T22:24:50Z

A game to warm up the brain. Cool stuff! I like the game cover.

Cards of War by Vladimir ins 2024-04-24T20:25:04Z

I didn't completely understand how it worked, it lacked a little explanation of the card game rules.

There's no indication of the game or the “summoning” theme, just a little introductory story linked to the card.

The card art is beautiful and the music goes well with it.

All in all, great job!

Siela by Gnum_ 2024-04-23T21:36:18Z

The atmosphere is good, supported by the soundtrack, which is heavy and overwhelming, reflecting Siela's situation.

The design has a certain charm and austerity about it. All that's missing are the enemies.

A job well done!

Imagining Dragons by Falk Hoeppner 2024-04-22T07:41:27Z

The first shoot 'em up I've tested in this game jam.

Almost unexpected for me, but pleasantly surprised. With a really cute celestial dragon to boot! :)

The result is good, it's pretty and the difficulty is well dosed for my taste.

Just the theme, which is well explained in the description, but not in the game. Those who play outside the context of the game jam won't have any information about the story and may play with less enthusiasm.

I say this because we've also omitted to do this in our game, such as at the beginning in the title screen, and maybe even a reminder from time to time during a game or at the end. This can enhance the player's immersion and enjoyment, I think, as well as making it easier to understand why they're playing.

In any case, nice work!Capture.JPG

Mass Move Minion Magic by obittner 2024-04-22T17:22:50Z

You've succeeded in balancing out the difficulty of this style of game, while at the same time keeping it fun.

It lets us gradually get used to it, so we can really think about how to do it.

The music doesn't loop quite right, like there's a break just before it starts again.

Good pixel art and sound, well done!

Summoning Master by JamesW 2024-04-22T20:02:58Z

It's hard to get the hang of at first, I'm not a fan of this type of game so it doesn't help! :)

I can't comment on the difficulty and balance of the mechanics, as I don't have much experience with this kind of card game, but it wasn't easy for me.

On the other hand, the pixel art is top-notch!

Fausto by PabloAbraham 2024-04-17T14:50:57Z

The atmosphere and design are cool! I'm not a fan of this style of mechanics, but I found myself playing again.

Nice!

Limbo Solutions inc. by out1oud 2024-04-25T21:13:16Z

It's not easy to assimilate what you have to do at first. Description is fine, sometimes just description is enough. But the book and the three objects on the table have an unclear use for me.

Despite this, I understand the intention, and I appreciate the art and atmosphere brought into the game.

Nice job!

Gravenguard: Rift Protectors by Crowpaw 2024-04-17T22:42:16Z

Reverse Rituals by freakyzelga 2024-04-20T20:58:33Z

Ash drained and Naughty Claus, two funny characters, with a nice description.

As said in the description there is no sound, too bad! :__(

But full of humor ;)

Faust by HellHound 2024-04-20T18:38:37Z

The game mechanics reminded me of Limbo or Super Meat Boy with a second character, but with a quieter atmosphere. It works well, the environment is pleasant and it's easy to imagine really interesting additional levels.

Nice work!

Circle of Life by UniOwl 2024-04-16T21:06:46Z

Nice and pleasant games. I like the online result, it makes you want to do well... so play again. The graphics, the design, the combo possibilities and tactics to be judiciously exploited... I'm having a lot of fun! Great idea!

Nice job!

Paralax, Cats and 22 snacks by Lamp_p 2024-04-23T21:48:45Z

Everything is cute and well done to make you feel at ease.

I love the parallax effect and the scenery is gorgeous, nice pixel art.

The effect and soundtrack make me feel even better... I'm sinking into my warm armchair!

Excellent work, thank you for a great time!

SPELLBINDER by eugene-b 2024-05-01T19:21:22Z

The atmosphere created by the soundtrack and pixel art is really good.

Collecting goes well, and I like the power of flying, though perhaps there's a sound missing that validates the collection of an item. Preparing for battle offers no indication of which warriors have been selected and what advantages the various elements can bring. I wasn't able to make a fight with a victory to defend my island.

Anyway, good job!

I like the atmosphere, it's cute, and dressed up with this style of music. Like being on cloud nine, but short-lived. Being alone to make the game, I understand... and congratulate you!

Summoner´s ritual by josang1567 2024-04-18T09:21:55Z

Ahah! Finally a game where I can let my dark inner self express itself... I'm Dr Frankenstein! :)

I call upon the witti-ness! by TRobboJ 2024-04-18T19:44:16Z

I'm enjoying the game with this humor, unfortunately some keys are conflicting like U N M K it seems (maybe others still). So I can't continue the story with the answers I want. The tutorial bugs after I finish it and I can't do anything afterwards... except restart the game. Still, good job!

Summoner Defense by PT09 2024-04-24T22:23:24Z

The art on the menu is beautiful, and the music goes well with the mood.

The defense mechanics work well, even if you can move your defenders at will. This seems to make the experience a little easier, but it's still a good idea.

The fact that they move a little from themselves to the enemy can sometimes be a problem, when several enemies arrive at the same distance, they bug out and stop attacking.

Happy tower defense!

Demonic Fridge and Vegetables From Hell by 7uc4s 2024-04-18T14:31:02Z

Pleasant to play. I like the graphic style and the game mechanics, but I couldn't find the real objective to achieve. After several invocations, I found myself with lots of food in the room, with no real progress to show for it... like opening a door to a new room or collecting points.

Summoner by WildCodePlay 2024-04-24T21:53:32Z

Getting to grips with the game is simple and effective. The mechanics are quickly assimilated, but that doesn't mean it's easy.

You need to work on your dexterity to save the world.

Enjoy the game!

Ballad of Lead Shroud by KrummSakura 2024-04-22T15:04:46Z

When I realized after three or four interactions that it was I who was causing the extra piano chord, I fell into a warp zone where I played in rhythm with the main music loop... until I forgot the story.

I've found it hard to move on now... weaning is hard........------------

Who's coming to resurrect me?

NECRO RUSH by helviett 2024-04-23T14:55:24Z

Ahah! This feeling of having an army at my command is really fun.

I love the humorous description!

The whole thing works well, it's a good game!

Get Away Your Pitchforks from My Oak! by Hammerer 2024-04-18T20:37:26Z

The game's graphics are pleasant and high-quality, in keeping with the atmosphere. There is a minimum difficulty level, but it gives you time to get the hang of the game. Mainly the summoning system, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine. I find it well balanced, just that some of my allies summoned too close to a tree, rock or other, get stuck. I congratulate you!

Crafted Calamities by Sven Walter 2024-04-23T23:41:12Z

Nice pixel art, well-balanced difficulty and game mechanics, and the atmosphere supports it all.

The "current power level" display is hidden by the player's health bar.

I liked the possibility of having several ways of building up the demon, and you have to do it wisely because it can quickly become complicated.

Great job!561468468.JPG

DURO by Fenix131113 2024-04-19T23:29:02Z

Good... really good!

The game looks simple and basic, but it's not. The choice of graphic designers, the gl... GAME game mechanics and the music are judicious and well adapted to the theme.

I also like the character design and the scenery. Great potential for crazy levels!

Thanks for your imagination! Nice game!

TNT Summoning Master!!!!! by Bx007 2024-04-18T00:13:14Z

Managing the explosion thrust seems straightforward at first, but becomes more complicated when you need to be quicker and more precise. I don't know whether the mechanics are a bit hard to balance, or whether I'm just lacking skills. Nevertheless, good work!

Harvest Festival by Sampai 2024-04-17T18:11:52Z

A short story with old-fashioned RPG style, and shoot 'em up combat. A great idea!

Unholy One by Rubikon 2024-04-21T19:11:56Z

I'm not very good at typing, so this frustrated me at first. But once you get the hang of it, it becomes fun.

The pixel art is good and so is the general atmosphere, though perhaps a soundtrack is missing in the background during the game.

I think the idea is really cool. Nice job!

Duck Spawner by Myse 2024-04-20T22:30:25Z

I see ducks everywhere!

Don't look at them, it makes them uncomfortable.

Do you know why people get scared when they're alone? I know why, I know.

The Fish Summoner by ScrivenerOfLight 2024-04-24T23:08:19Z

After starting the game, nothing happens after “listen to the song then play it!”

I have Firefox as my browser and no worries about testing the other games in the jam, but I guess this is it.

Too bad! I really would have liked to test this musical game, it sounds like a cool idea! :(Capture.JPG

Spooky by TheMaxi7 2024-04-18T22:17:45Z

Good job for doing it on your own. For a shooter, there's room for improvement, but it works and the environment is pleasant. After beating the boss I can't use the menu to restart, none of the buttons work. I have to restart via the itch.io page.

DemonLogic by ypwub5 2024-04-19T15:45:57Z

The game mechanics are interesting but not very intuitive, even with the instructions. Perhaps a little more explanation is needed for a novice trying out this style of game. The decor of each level could be varied slightly or completely, to bring a little freshness. It's still a good base to refine. A job well done!

The Stone Summoners by GDMage 2024-04-18T13:49:09Z

I scored 396 head points, not without difficulty. I was too lazy to take notes, but including a bestiary of the invocations I'd already done as I went along would amount to the same thing. Without taking away the difficulty of course, by gradually adding new locations and stones to create other combinations giving more points. Good job! Score - The Stone Summomers.JPG

Angel Vox by Iwant_Pizza 2024-04-17T20:21:42Z

A heavy subject, but fortunately you've done it. Atmosphere, graphics... nice job!

Summon Madness by christow 2024-04-24T19:18:20Z

The concept is innovative and requires a clear distinction between the actions to be performed with each hand. It's good work for the brain. Really interesting and needs to be refined. At present, the difficulty is a bit hard to get started.

Also, it lacks at least a little introduction to immerse the player, like why we're here and stuff...

The game doesn't bug, even if it needs to be balanced, so you can play it and finish it.

Congratulations!

Aurora's Ascendance: Orbs of Destiny by Unbreakable 2024-04-22T17:46:03Z

I really enjoyed the whole package, and there's so much more to explore.

I liked the idea of color charges, and when I beat the boss I still wanted to continue the adventure.

The soundtrack is good even if it can't be rated, perhaps a little weak, especially the music.

Thank you for creating this great game!

Ratastrophe by NaPlz98 2024-04-19T23:57:56Z

There's humor and original gameplay... and the cat that spits out hairballs as projectiles is a fun idea!

The right-click movement with limited distance is not very practical, but hammering the key is fine!

Great work!

Burger Ritual by meylish 2024-04-17T14:17:53Z

I like the atmosphere and the design of the game, good job!

Blood Rite by LetsSnack 2024-04-21T02:09:01Z

Beautiful pixel art with a red tone.

The game mechanics surprised me at first, as I wasn't too comfortable with rats. But I got used to it.

The atmosphere is very gloomy, and I've grown attached to the necromancer. Fresh idea to get under the skin (if he has any left) of the so-called villain.

A little rat soup!?...

Thank you for this undeniably excellent game!

Eyes On-Myoji by Cloverplus1697 2024-04-18T09:11:58Z

Your game has interesting mechanics and a pretty design. The head at the end of the pointer disappoints me, I was thinking of a hand in the same style as the one that comes to pick up the orb at the requested location. Also, a little magic or other animation after giving the right three orbs could remind and reinforce the summoming theme.

Nice job!

Summoner Armin's Bad Day by Alessandro2024 2024-04-19T20:00:07Z

It's really pretty and you've created a good RPG atmosphere. I quickly immersed myself in this world, it's been a long time since I played an RPG. I was happy to discover the menu for items, equipment and so on at the start of the game... a little disappointed that it wasn't useful.

Thanks for this adventure!

Consume the Countryside by labcatgames 2024-04-23T22:34:19Z

Restful and at the same time a minimum of strategy to be able to continue to another level.

The graphics are clean, with a well-transcribed atmosphere for the bees.

A job well done!

Castle Romantik by matt.vnr 2024-04-23T14:36:39Z

An excellent idea for a game, it's calm and relaxing. You can play quietly!

I could imagine sound effects when you place a water tile, like a splash, and so on for the forest, building, desert... it would be more immersive.

I'm surprised there's no link or story to the "summoning" theme!

That said, I had a great time playing your game, thank you!Capture.JPG
