I don't know if I did anything wrong but I could usually make out my target by their physical description alone. I tried using all the other items but could not really tell what they were doing or if they were doing anything at all. From day two, I just read what they looked like and summoned the only person that matched the description, so some balancing could work in this games favor. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the artstyle and calm music :D

It's a nice game, it's all about finding the right person to make progress! I'm a bit confused about the language system but it all works well, I'm hoping to get a bit more feedback on summoning!

Okay SO this is the exact kind of game I enjoy playing, I'm just mildly confused about how to handle the language thing. I keep clicking on the book and trying to click on the different languages, but I can't figure out how I'm meant to compare them. Also the phrase "used to be bald" is confusing for me. I got a few right and a few wrong but it was mostly chance! I think this has a lot of potential to be an interesting mystery-ish game if there's a bit more clues to the player about how to proceed. That being said, I like the music and art and concept quite a bit!

It's an interesting take on the papers please like gameplay. It took a bit of guesswork to figure out the gameplay but it was satisfying once I did. The gameplay doesn't seem to ramp up or get harder though. The audio is great too, very moody.

I loved the mood and sound on this one! Some thoughts: - It took me some time to figure out the language mechanic, and I'm not sure why some of them don't show their characters in the book from the start. - I agreed that it was too straight forward to find the answer, so I didn't have to use most mechanics. A bit more challenge by forcing some overlapping properties would improved that, I think - Despite the nice tutorial screen, it's a bit much to digest before even knowing how the game works, so having ingame tooltips on the items would have been very nice as a way to teach the game

Congrats on the submnission!

Took me a while to get it, but once you understand, it's quite fun . Might be nice to have the first hint of the language from the first day. Nice entry, well done!

It's not easy to assimilate what you have to do at first. Description is fine, sometimes just description is enough. But the book and the three objects on the table have an unclear use for me.

Despite this, I understand the intention, and I appreciate the art and atmosphere brought into the game.

Nice job!

A bit tricky to understand, I wasn't sure what the skull and the lamp were supposed to do, but I managed to play the game without them. Cool little game, I like the jazzy mood. Good job!
