LD38 — A Small World

Infinite Planet by gaffa 2017-04-26T00:11:11Z

Looks good. Much more polish than mine.

Dungeon Sphere Runner by Adam Martin 2017-05-03T15:41:10Z

@kabalatrance Thanks but what didn't you like about the controls? Also I just ran out of time to add SFX, but I completely agree having them would have been a great feedback mechanism.

AstroGunner by KabalaTrance 2017-05-03T15:45:52Z

The camera seemed odd not rotating around the player but instead sort of rotating the world around, but I loved how the bullets curved and the sound effects matched up nicely. It reminded me of Geometry Wars some and I really liked that so I liked the direction you were headed in!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Hearth by rubentipparach 2020-04-21T14:29:17Z

I have accidentally deleted the upload please bear with me while I get it back on the page.

Keep the LEVEL ALIVE! by magicera 2020-04-21T14:09:32Z

I had a hard time at first figuring out my objective as those red orbs spawn outside of view and don't really appear until its too late. I liked the pinball bouncing on the dash that was fun!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Fathom Commander by Adam Martin 2021-04-29T14:14:51Z

@doriansnowball thanks for the feedback. Camera movement was something was had wanted, but ran out of time. Additionally balance didn't get the time it deserved as well.

LD49 — Unstable

Don't Panic by csLupius 2021-10-19T01:40:05Z

The pressure near the end with the "moaning" was great and I loved all the minigames except the operation game because that is very hard given the width of the hallways.

Betatester by ThiefViolinist 2021-10-19T01:30:30Z

I liked the concept of using bugs as a mechanic, but it also felt kind of an easy out since there wasn't a way of "reporting" a bug and some sort of quest to find them all.

Meowsician Manager by rubentipparach 2021-10-05T16:38:50Z

We ran out of time to add items and cat switching @reheated

Newcomen Atmospheric Engine by axelrinaldo 2021-10-19T01:20:30Z

Love the graphics, the mechanics were a bit hard to understand at first and the balance was missing, but the chains being a ragdoll look was really cool!

Nukaloid by GuitarBro 2021-10-19T02:30:37Z

Loved the graphics and the rougelike turn mechanic.

Missed Spelling by Gryhyphen 2021-10-19T04:25:45Z

Loved the use of different fonts and letter stylings.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Cardboard People on Fire by BoxedMeatRevolution 2022-04-07T23:06:51Z

Loved the cardboard art style, and the villagers sound effects.

Time Wyrd by Tobius 2022-04-08T03:08:33Z

@cody-holt I played yours as well, great job and yours had way more balancing they ours.

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

MAGIC-281: Intro to Alchemy by ninjacreeper47 2022-10-07T01:35:00Z

Very different, and a bit hard to get into, personally.

Comet Raiders by rubentipparach 2022-10-06T04:23:39Z

I had a hard time figuring out the controls, but the graphics and sound are awesome. I somehow crashed into an asteroid and BOOM, headphone alert :). Overall solid 3d prototype for a game.

10 Second Plan by Adam Martin 2022-10-06T23:49:01Z

To clarify there is only 3 squares it moves per turn @ninjacreeper47 @ironnbutterfly . I did have a plan that higher difficulties could be achieved by having it move more per turn, so you would have to plan further out. Also I think a visual indicator on the screen saying how many moves it as left would be great.

Good feedback on the end turn sooner and quick reset everyone.

10 Second Plan by Adam Martin 2022-10-08T03:34:10Z

@aristurtle @almax the turn coin combo not working is a bug, unfortunately I did catch it. This is some great feedback and thanks for playing!

Moirah's Manor by Tobius 2022-10-06T04:28:42Z

Wow, the graphics were fantastic and the audio was great, but headphone warning. I didn't get far, and these style of game isn't really my thing, but well done!

Here and There in 10 Seconds by IronnButterfly 2022-10-07T01:31:23Z

Movement was a bit hard with some of the jumps, but overall good job with the switching between multiple "levels" every 10 seconds.

Boulder Bash by W4YN3R 2022-10-07T01:32:47Z

Love the music and the controls felt good.

Meteoriseten by Igor Morgun 2022-10-06T04:32:56Z

Decent entry, was a bit hard to predict, maybe a warning glow or something to give the player some time to react, but overall good job getting a game done!

LD52 — Harvest

In Harvest We Trust by Adam Martin 2023-01-10T14:29:29Z

@crashbashash We had planned to add RPG like elements, but with all jams you plan big and deliver a fraction of that. Thanks for playing!!

In Harvest We Trust by Adam Martin 2023-01-11T15:50:40Z

The tap just gets you to the goal faster. We ran out of time to have it give you money.

LD53 — Delivery

Midnight Muffin Delivery Service by Tyler M 2023-05-02T02:03:57Z

Fantastic. A bit hard to control, but kept me wanting to try more

LD55 — Summoning

Life of a Summon by someone 2024-04-19T20:04:59Z

Good job. I wasn't sure what to do after a bit, but it was amusing. Interesting choice doing your own engine, I'll have to check it out!

The Summoned by Tony Li 2024-05-04T00:51:18Z

This is a style of game you don't see in jams, keep it up

Necrunmancer by Adam Martin 2024-04-16T03:12:27Z

@bearcage there is an upgrade after every 5 fights, I didn't note it very well in the description.

Necrunmancer by Adam Martin 2024-04-19T12:34:30Z

@gawain-doell we tried to tweak the build for mobile (just build settings) and it broke full screen mode, just found this out last night, so we'll get it fixed.

Glad everyone is enjoying it so far, and we may attempt a balance pass after the jam, stay tuned!

Ethereal Transport Academy by Tobius 2024-04-19T19:53:23Z

Loved the graphics and attention to detail with them. I was confused on the second level that I needed to stand in the circle to continue, but overall everything played well. The book of knowledge was a very nice touch!

Call of the Warp by Thvald 2024-04-19T19:50:44Z

Good job! Nice twist on a centipede-like game. I was a bit unsure of why things didn't get affect by my attacks, perhaps some sort of circle of effect or shading of enemies that will be affected, could be a good visual cue. Overall nice work for a jam!!

Bowl n' Bawls by Silliest Goose 2024-05-04T00:47:28Z

Graphics were fun and music and sound effects are something most entries lack, good job

Ghost Step by Willbone 2024-05-04T00:43:57Z

Music fit perfect!!

DESUMMONER by segfaults 2024-05-04T00:58:49Z

Worked well on mobile, the puzzle was just hard enough it took some thought, good job

Haunted House Survive by Ofek 2024-05-04T00:41:19Z

The distance at which you can't reanimate wasn't very clear, but love the sprites!

LD57 — Depths

Captain Peggles: That Man's Chest by Sheepolution 2025-04-11T03:10:21Z

A bit short, but overall loved the make the map yourself mechanic.

Mole Cart by Skosnowich 2025-04-12T03:44:20Z

Very fun rail runner game. The amount of times I tried to use space to jump though. The last level really ramped up the difficulty, so I hope you add more levels later, the mechanics were quite good and the need to light the way was unique.

BTW: Beneath the Waves by Aurel300 2025-04-16T23:33:15Z

This is very similar to a game my team made many jams ago, but what you've made here for sure improves on our idea.

Deep Bat Rage by shadow64 2025-04-12T03:47:26Z

Good efforts. The shooting was solid, though some enemy movement would have ramped it up, even if just a little back and forth

Steve the Smith by Adam Martin 2025-04-08T14:33:14Z

Yeah, the money spending was the part of the loop I missed (ran out of time). The plan was to use it to upgrade your pickaxe. Thanks for the honest feedback!

I'll look into the window resize issue, thanks for submitting the bug.

Steve the Smith by Adam Martin 2025-04-08T19:14:05Z

I'll add wall jumping to my list

Steve the Smith by Adam Martin 2025-04-11T02:54:20Z

I had eyes set on more features you could buy like dynamite, pickaxe upgrades, spells that could do those sorts of effects, etc, but time is a cruel reality in a game jam. Thanks for the feedback!

Steve the Smith by Adam Martin 2025-04-11T12:56:35Z

Yeah, the soft lock is an issue, I'll fix that game breaking bug.

Thanks for all the feedback!!

Steve the Smith by Adam Martin 2025-04-18T22:35:57Z

@ditam lore-wise, we your pickaxe runs out of durability, it triggers a spell to send you back. It cannot bring back ore, you have to use the portal spell to do that instead, once it's charged by moving down enough.

Rappel the Porter by Reuh 2025-04-11T23:42:54Z

Fun graphics and audio, but the grabbing was very tricky to know if I had grabbed something

Beneath the lies by bashem 2025-04-11T23:22:11Z

Very fun, the upgrades made me feel a bit overpowered, but then I killed too many aliens.

Out Of My Depth by okuar 2025-04-11T23:28:03Z

I'm not sure I understood what was going on, the moving was very slow and didn't appear to do much until you got to the first barbed wire. Perhaps having some story or narration telling a story so you know moving forward is what you should keep doing? I wasn't sure if I was missing some other form of control.

Big Pig & Dig Gig by sami822 2025-04-16T23:27:14Z

Very fun, the wall climbing was nice, but unpredictable when it would do it.

Lockpicks-11 by suvi 2025-04-12T04:20:33Z

Love the graphics and mini games. The music was perfect. The theme was a bit loose, and not sure how depth really fit in, how many doors can you get through?

Scares on Schedule by python-b5 2025-04-11T23:33:42Z

The minigames were a bit hard, specifically the match, the cards moved way too fast and it was just RNG.

Voidwood by Tobius 2025-04-11T02:57:02Z

Great controls and love the art. I wasn't super confident the red squiggle was organic matter at first, overall solid entry Screenshot 2025-04-10 215631.png

Grapple to Glory by jddoesdev 2025-04-12T03:28:44Z

The boost was a bit hard to figured out, but loved the overall idea!

EchoAbyss by Aincrad 2025-04-16T23:39:58Z

Very nice. Having a cooldown indicator for the sonar would have been a great addition.

Net. Sweeper by Absolute Garbage 2025-04-12T03:37:35Z

It was a bit confusing as the numbers sort of left it up to RNG which squares may or may not have an enemy, and picking a bullet that wasn't strong enough, and clicking a square was a 50/50 death on level 2. Overall loved the take on minesweeper, I just wish it was a bit more forgiving, perhaps a restart the current level?

Nailed It! by Rachenite 2025-04-12T03:49:30Z

Fun idea in concept. Having multiple levels would have been a great addition.

Are you smarter than a fisherman? by Gerswick 2025-04-12T03:22:57Z

Love the chill music and how simple the controls were.

DeepCrown by Wyzal 2025-04-11T23:39:35Z

The flow wasn't very good, I would have the choices be closer together, or have something happen in between, like a cutscene or story

CONFESSION by pavlov36 2025-04-11T03:14:28Z

Very interesting, a visual novel more than a game, but the mini games were quite fun.

deep trouble. by frutal 2025-04-11T03:02:35Z

Fun little game, the detection was a bit unpredictable, but overall the controls were responsive and the music is a nice touch
