Fun concept! I think it would be interesting if you were able to cancel the possession state, it would allow more fluidity in positioning since you don't know where the enemy spawns.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → Haunted House Survive

Nice little game, you did a good job :)
@UmU-Dev You actually can cancel the possession state by right clicking! Maybe it is not super informative in the instructions. I should probably have had a more specific list so I'll update that thanks for the feedback!
@ofek No worries! I played it again and it's a pretty fun skeleton (pun intended) to build on top of, I think adding a area around the player in order to prevent being spawn killed would be a nice QoL.
Some adjustments to the way that the summon material -- such as making it work on a timer would prevent accidentally being completely helpless at the start, either that or increase the initial enemy wave would help with game feel a lot.
The movement feels solid and I really like the idea so far, great job!
The movement of the zombie dogs was one of my favourite aspects.
Interesting game! I like it!
It's fun but punishing. You really have to optimize hitting as much as possible with one summon or you run out of new summons quickly. Great job making this in 3 days.
interesting concept, zombie dogs give a shit, it would be cool to have some music in the background, something like that https://youtu.be/OprD65Oegf8
I liked the concept even if it was insanely punishing xD I liked the pixel art vibe of it too, especially the zombie doggo!
Interesting mechanics, although I didn't do very well. Sometimes it felt like the player controlled summons would run off the side for no clear reason, although it might have been something I was doing wrong.
I liked the animations and as others mentioned, zombie dogs. A couple of things I think would really improve the overall experience are some nice background, audio, and the ability to have multiple summons. Also, some way to fight on your own would be great, because when there are no bodies left then all you can do is run around.
Nice mechanic! It was a bit confusing at the beginning and usually I got caught while returning after a summon!
The distance at which you can't reanimate wasn't very clear, but love the sprites!
Really cool mechanic! Could use some bugfixes as sometimes the dog just kills something offscreen and sometimes the corpses seem to disappear. I enjoyed this a lot though and the strategy between going out to kill something and staying close to defend is really dynamic and interesting despite the actual mechanism being relatively simple.
Neat idea, this could be built further to be made into quite an interesting game.
Nicely done!
