I was unsure how to properly direct my demon.
Good stuff! The programming was a little tricky to get used to, but by the end I felt I was pretty comfortable with the mechanics. I was scared of a solution where you'd have to summon 2 in a single chain, but luckily that never came. There's a TON of text, and I'd love to read it all, but I'm so tired right now from trying to push out my own game that I just couldn't. But I really liked how your level design matched the story that you told. The last 2 levels were great from a storytelling perspective. Overall, nice work!
Hi @richard-ortiz, thank you for playing. Sorry for the confusion, there‘s just no time for us to add a tutorial level at the moment, we'll try to update the game in the future to make it more polished. Come to try it again if you are still interested.
Hello @t-c, yes, the text, we're scared by the amount of text as well, but there's just no time for us to shorten it. Because originally the scripts were written in Chinese, as thinking in our native tongue can be way faster and easier for us, but we never thought that translating to English would make it THREE times longer. This also gives us a reminder that i18n is a thing you should consider in the beginning. But any ways, thanks for playing and thank you for your advices.
Good game. But the explanation of the action tiles should be out of the lore (long) text. Or being able to see them selecting the tile.
I made more levels and can't wait to update them!
The game mechanics are interesting but not very intuitive, even with the instructions. Perhaps a little more explanation is needed for a novice trying out this style of game. The decor of each level could be varied slightly or completely, to bring a little freshness. It's still a good base to refine. A job well done!
Love the demonic art!
Cool game! At first I thought it was simplist and that you could just code the whole path, but the instructions count limitation make it interesting. ^^
Also, the narrative is nice and kind of unexpected in this type of game. And the fact that the level reflect the story is a good idea.
It could be a little hard at first glance, especially for people not used to this kind of logic. But nothing blocking if you try a little.
Good job!
Game is very nice, because it works good and very enjoyable! It's like small but completed game about visual programming
Cute little game
Like this type of games. It's fun to play. I'll suggest you, like in the comments above, to decrease number of text. Try to use more graphics stuff. For instance: you have moving icons, you can re-use them to describe movement.
Nice little programming game! It gets pretty complicated pretty quickly. I think you have a simple but solid mechanic here. Would be cool to spend more time on the graphical and audio assets to improve the game feel. Good job!
