Fun, interesting, and challenging little game. But it’s so difficult! It reminds me of the fear of being dominated by those 24-point calculation problems in elementary school… QAQ
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → Sumémon: Number Nimrods

That's a fun and interesting idea. It can get really hard and I didn't manage to get to 73. I don't think I have heard the music in the game unfortunately. But good choice of textures :)
Fun concept and works very well, the tutorial screen looks a little messy compared to the good looking game but still get the job done
It is an interesting and fun idea, but it is very hard to get to the target number. My only complain that usage of the theme is not so clear, but I guess summoning numbers is it. And the game froze once.
@dmitry-mozgin thank you! Some tips for getting to the target number include: linking simple numbers more, resetting the board (enter key), and keeping one larger number to perform the operations on. For the theme, I thought it was funny to take the Sum from Summoning and make a math game! You sum and summon numbers in other words. I know about the freezing issue, I tried to minimize it and it sucks that you encountered it. Thank you for playing and grading!
(I can give you two hazelnuts for a dark theme )
Jokes aside, while confusing at first, it gets more and more interesting with every operation. What I would love personally to see if the "timeless" mode where, like in a sandbox, I could take my time doing my fancy math without being pressured by the almighty clock.
Very nice entry, congratulations!
@0x0961h where are my two hazelnuts :peanuts: . I quickly added stuff you asked for. Much love.
Cool game!
Loved your idea and the tactile gameplay!
Very interesting concept overall, but not so much in theme of Summoning. I didn't like the numbers sprites, though, it was very difficult to read and understand (and well, the tutorial screen could use some love).
Loved the game and the originality, trying to figure out the right way to put the numbers together was really fun! My one note is some of the numbers can be a little difficult to quickly read.
Really interesting game idea! I liked the art style!
Very nice and innovative ! Also enjoyed the level of poslish and animations you put into it !
This is very innovative and the art was quite funny!
Confusing at first, but fun. The first page is too busy, I think the tutorial could be more fluid. I don't feel the link with the theme. Nice game, well done :)
Love the art, my biggest complaint is that its about math :see_no_evil:
I really liked this game! You guys are great!
Excellent for working on mental arithmetic... your games will be of great use to me ;) On the other hand, I don't feel the summoming theme only when playing with numbers... or else I'm too bad and I've missed it!
The mechanics are an original idea, thank you for your game!
Loved the concept for this game, but I felt like it shouldn't have had a countdown timer. Maybe just a timer that increases your score the faster you complete the problems, but lets you go at any speed.
Innovative and playful! The styling of the numbers was a little hard to read at first, but this and the physics of the numbers made for a more interesting and silly game. Doesn't feel like the theme is entirely represented, but I do recognize there is still some "summing" involved. Fun and challenging, nice job!
@jean-francois @k-toll @magik8bal thank you for your rating! The idea was to take the "Sum" from Summon and make a math game about summing and summoning numbers!
@james-greenleaf if you just want to enjoy a "sandbox" mode you can press "t" while in game to stop the timer forever
Ho ok creative way to use the theme, I will change my vote :3
Nice concept but some combinations are really hard to accomplish
@madelinef if you press "t" after the game started you can stop the timer and try until you get it
Nice, a really abstract take on the theme  Had fun with this for a while, well done!
An excellent concept! I went to timeless mode fairly early on because I wasn't in a frantic mood, so thanks for giving that option :)
After a while I got in a situation where I could always combine down to 1 or 2 and then use that to get to anything I needed, which while a bit tedious does work. Not in timed mode though I suspect!
I wonder if instead of one number repeating if you're doing an operation when you have few numbers left getting a random one instead would provide variety?
Awesome game! Cool original mechanics that force you to strain your brains. However, the graphics of numbers and symbols are very unpleasant, making it difficult to perceive what is what. And balance is not enough. Some numbers are almost impossible to obtain in the allotted time But despite this, perhaps one of the best games for me that I saw at this jam
You saw me playing it live :)
I liked the playful colors, comic-sans, it really touched the feeling.
Some sounds and music would be nice.
The digits were behaving weirdly and were flying everywhere making it hard to create the expression.
Also the first run had some hard difficulty :D Maybe creating some hand-crafted target values would be better than the generated ones.
Thank you for stopping by!
This is very fun and light-hearted! I felt connected to my inner child - who enjoyed solving these kinds of math puzzles - while playing this game.. If that makes sense.
**Tip:** You can add the Ludum Dare 55 tag to your game on Itch.io, which will automatically add a little note at the top of the page explaining that it's a LD entry and a link back to this page!
