@freakyzelga Thanks for reporting the problem. There are apparently some issues with web exports from Godot 4. I added a link to itch.io instead. Does that work better?
I've play the game on the web version and it works (i'm on firefox). About the game, i don't really understand all, i can invoque a lot slimes at the start but after i can't invocate. i cant see bonus or magic/mana jauge so i'm confused. I'm surprised about the collisions with player and all the slimes, in a majority of games there is non collision with your friendly allies. The music is..... can you put an option to mute them ? Else i understand i need to protect the structure, and this is a good job, i think.... i believe.....

@robowarrior1982 There should be a health meter below the character. Casting spells will cost you health. But there should be better feedback that you can't afford to cast a spell because you're low on health. We also didn't have time to implement healing. The idea was that you would be able to absorb stuff, including dead enemies, to heal. The music is cursed, just like the Necromancer.
@elemel yes i see, and i have supposed that my health is my ressource, but i couldn't find a way to regain, and you tell me you had no time to implement healing...that's a shame. In this case an auto healing every ten second 2 point of life for example make the job. PS : the jam is not over you have the time to made a patch easily ! (6 hours left)

i really like how your game looks, you did a great job!
Good game in overall! Love the idea to deal with hp instead of mana :p

Cool little game. The sound effects of the cucumber? thing made me laugh. Only thing I'd say to improve is greying out the summons once you have too little health to purchase them as it wasn't clear at first why I couldn't summon anymore. But otherwise a fun game.
Very fun idea! I kinda love the music XD

Fun game but super hard. Got a laugh at the sound effects One thing that I'd suggest is having a way to recover some health so you summon more creatures during combat. Since the summon limit is too low, game gets to passive after a while
I like the general concept of using health as your summoning resource. You said you didn't have any time left to implement healing/absorbing mechanics and that is a shame because I believe your idea needs some way to heal. Right now, you basically just cast things at the enemies and hope that they will be stalled for long enough to not destroy your base in time. If you added some way to regain health, be it by collecting things the enemies drop or a slow heal over time, and made the controls a bit less floaty (because once you run out of summons you can kind of distract the enemies for a bit by distracting them and the controls make that very hard), I see a very nice top down defense game here.

I was excited when I started playing. I thought what's going to happen after I've resisted the end of the timer... and it was already over :_( I liked it and expected a little more playing time. Good base and potential, well done!
The timer click (I guess that's it) is a bit aggressive.

I like music but it feels very slow. This is a good game.

@roitchie That's good feedback. We definitely should have greyed out the spells when health is too low.

@oni Definitely needs healing or something more to do. Agree about it becoming too passive.

@initialposition I think the distraction part is fine, but it wasn't really designed to be a part of the game. It kind of just happened.
Good idea, I think the game can be faster :) well done !
Small, but respectable. I wish there had been a few more levels and perhaps another summon or drops to help you, but time constraints are what they are.

Fun game that feels abbreviated due to time constraints. Found the music a little ear piercing / sharp, but really like the sound effects. Game play was interesting (e.g., egging the attackers to go for me and dodging so my summoned creatures survive).

@thesmellofoxygen Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the game was barely "finished" enough to submit, many improvements are possible and needed.

@hylazu Good point. It would have been nice to have a settings screen with volume controls. Also agree that gameplay showed some potential that could be explored further. Maybe next time...
Nice but sloooooooooooow. Movement of the character is so incredibly slow. Although is looks like realistic velocity for the scale, I'd like to have an option (maybe in a form of bonus) to increase swiftness of the action.

@brainles-etertainment He could use a pair of speed boots, for sure!

Nice one! Loved the visuals and the sounds - the music was a bit ... in-your-face, though. The main character moved a bit slow, and some visual feedback on your mana (or cooldown on summons? I'm not even sure how this works...), on what you could summon, would be nice.
This is a fun idea to have a necromancer that has to use their health to spawn allies. And with this limited timer it works fairly well, but if you wanted to expand the game at all I definitely think that allowing the player to heal somehow and move a bit faster would be very beneficial. Good job with this game!

I like the artwork. Movement felt very sluggish, and it would be nice to be able to heal at your shrine. I didn't realise protecting the shrine was the goal at first. Some instructions and flavour text at the start would have been useful.
The idea is good but with no way to recover health, I can't summon more units to protect myself nor the shrine thing.

@pebkac Thanks for the feedback! There's definitely some improvements to be made both on explaining to the player what's going on, and tuning the overall feel of the game.
@blazejmg917 Good point on the timer. I also feel that we almost got away with it because the time is so short. Improving the features of the game would also allow us to extend the time.
@someone We imagined that the enemies would leave remains behind, and that you could drain them for health. As well as absorbing your own units to reclaim health. Being able to summon other buildings would also have been cool. It could become some kind of real-time strategy or tower defence game.
@bloodbane Agreed. Adding some way to heal would be the first thing to fix. Thanks for playing!
