Hey, I can't see the link to the game. Is this supposed to be published already?

Hey, I can't see the link to the game. Is this supposed to be published already?
Hmm, might just be me, but seems like itch.io is cropping your game weirdly, I can't see the bottom portion of the screen.
Enjoyed the setting and Dommy Nunny  The art is beautiful and gameplay is smooth. The summoning scrolls could close on summon but I can see it being an executive decision to make the kitchen management more demanding. The game didn't load on this page for me but I got to play it on itch.
Same as @tstapely07, it's sad, the game looks amazing
@jack728 its published already on itch.io, you can play it there now!
Very fun concept! The art and sound were really good, and having a tutorial like that for a jam is great. Nicely polished other than the scrolls summoning dozens of ratburgers for a single click, but that's funny and pretty thematic anyway. Having a more intricate process for summoning ingredients would have made it more fun but I can see why you'd keep that part simple for now, great work overall!
Gave everyone the "nothing but rat burgers" special. 10/10 no notes.
The music is a little jarring when it starts---maybe there could've been some sort of music from the start? But when it does play, it's *incredible!*
Awesome art and sound effects too!
This is great, I love the art and the different ingredients are super fun! Nice job :)
Very cool idea and realisation
idea is very interesing, but resolution of the game is really strange.. Art is really great, i love the concept of unusual ingredients, that really matches the idea of the game :))
Great art, but need more customers and they generation
very beautiful visual, creative!
cool atmosphere!
Very cool visual
Omg, I saw the development of the game and knew that it would be very cool! And so it turned out, the game is insanely interesting and funny! The visual part complements the game very well! Great job! <3
I love the art! it makes waterfalls in my mouth!! Intresting mechanics, playing this game relaxed me a little bit
Очень классный концепт!
This is good! I love the art/character designs and the music fits perfectly. But seriously dude, beets on a burger? Sickening :)
Why do squashed rats look so... delicious? I like the idea of summoning burgers)
Artstyle is great!
I like this game! You guys are great!
Очень приятная игра и задумка.Лично для меня было неудобно не видеть ингредиенты и были проблемы с пролистыванием вниз экрана, часто не видела, какие ингредиенты добавляются.
This looks cool and seemed likea fun idea but I couldn't seem to get the resolution right on any of my devices, it always cut off part of the interface, making it unusable.
Не сразу понял геймплей, но в целом интересно получилось! Понравился арт и юмор)
блин сразу вспоминаются игры с готовкой в которые играла лет 5 назад)) очень крута!
It's a fun little game. I think more levels could have been made. Also could have made the ingredient selection a single click instead of two. And so, quite good, or as we say in Russia, Zayebis'
The game seems nice, but I can't scroll down (I see white bars appearing upwards). I'm playing on macOS in the Arc browser (Chromium).
The sound and the music were very good. The game concept is excellent.
That being said, I could not see the place where the burger was being made. Also, once the item is picked it should AUTOMATICALLY close the scroll
Thanks for the fun play.
That was really funny, I can see it being made into a full game! That also made me hungry...
It is a bit annoying to have to click one time to open the scroll, a second to summon the ingredient and a third time to close the scroll. Otherwise, nice game.
The game was fun to play although I couldn't see the bottom of the kitchen at first. I really like the art and the character great job! The music is great as well. Overall it looks clean and it is fun. ^^
Cool art! It took me a while to figure out how to summon the ingredients. It's a little inconvenient that you need to switch between ordering and cooking with arrows. For some reason, I always wanted to see who you were cooking for. :-) But when I got used to it, I liked the process itself, it turned out interesting!
Very nice visuals and polished gameplay, great job !
Really cool ! Great looking and sounding !
> You don't need to know what will happen if you don't [serve the customers properly]
Well, you were wrong, I had to try again after winning to see what'd happen hehehe :P
In terms of gameplay it's quite simple and trivial. I was surprised you couldn't send the order if all the required ingredients weren't present, or that there doesn't seem to be a time limit, so you really have to try to lose in order not to win which is a little odd.
Usually this kind of game gets some challenge from either a time limit, relying on player skills to improve to use the interface/controls faster, or using some random/uncontrollable elements, things like physics making the stacked order fall or some other disturbance that has to be dealt with, or by using confusion with the interface mixing up some information, playing tricks or requiring the player to remember things properly.
Although I'm guessing with this game you went for the chill and casual vibe (which you nailed btw), I still think a little bit of challenge would make for an even better experience. It doesn't have to be hard but I think it's when your efforts allow you to avoid failure that they become meaningful.
Overall this is a very solid entry, casual but effective, my highest rated yet ! Congrats !
I loved the crossover between hamburgers and Satanism!! but I couldn't play
Love the game. Love theses weird recipes :D
Now I can play!! very fun and the visual decision was really cool.
Cooking games are my guilty pleasure and this is a good one. As others have noted, there is an issue with cropping on itch version once you go to full screen and it took me a bit of time to figure out how to send the first order, but once I got hang of it I had a great time!
Awesome ambiance and graphics! The gameplay is quite basic, but it does the job.
@patatenouille wow, what a profound assessment! Take a look at my team's project, please!! Your analysis is great!
Tried it twice and keep getting a "bad ending"? Am I constantly getting screwed by the ingredients not correctly stacking to the burger or is there even a non fail ending?
Screenshot 2024-04-17 at 15.51.53.png
Well, third time the charm I guess. Was extra careful now with my ingredient draggings...
Screenshot 2024-04-17 at 16.09.10.png
The gameplay itself was kinda boring and clunky. As I already eluded above, the ingredients sometimes didn't stick to the burger itself when dragging them on place but just stayed there on the area beneath. Especially happened to me when the burger was getting tall enough and I instinctually dragged the ingredients near the top, not to the bottom where I think the hit area was no matter what.
Having to close the scroll each time was a bit annoying. Felt like an unnecessary extra step now that there was no time limit or anything. Would make a lot more sense if there was time constraint so that you would need to flex your memory or waste time toggling them on and off again. But right now it felt like and extra step. Just extra clicks that were already a bit too plentiful. But of course removing/automating those would make the game very thin.
Art looked great! Adding even a bit of movement would have really livened it up though. The sounds and music served their purpose, though nothing too amazing, it still felt really silent and monotonous.
Anyways, good job! 👍
I always wanted to be a burger boy like Sponge Bob and in this game I am a Statan Sponge Bob in a really great Art Style! The Art is really on point and and everything is pretty smooth and solid for a 3 days, great work! Would love to see more, so that the game get more depth, to play it again and again!
what's the "Mkhomt" sauce?
@p-r our special sauce with bugs:)
I like the graphics and sound.
I love the mood of this game, and the dialogue are super cute. It's a bit short and the game is easy but I like the art a lot, now I want a burger... The music works well, the ending one might be a bit too upbeat for the setting ahah. I had some trouble playing the game, it doesn't load here and on itch.io I first tried putting it in fullscreen and has it has an unusual screen ratio I couldn't see everything, and then even when not in fullscreen it was broken somehow and I couldn't see the "send order" button. After a reload of the page and no attempt to put in fullscreen, it finally worked correctly. Anyway, really cool entry, keep up the good work!
I like the atmosphere and the design of the game, good job!
First of all the graphics are really good, music and environnement are cool! Also, really good job on tutorial and explanation also, it really helps start playing easily. I had some problem with the size of the screen, i couldn't see everything in my window so I couldn't send my burger. I don't really know how to fix this but I'd love to play again :)
I like the music and it is a complete game. However, I have had problems being able to send orders to clients.
I love all the ominous ingredients as well as the bizarre requests by the customers. The graphics were fantastic! The process of summoning the ingredients was a little annoying, with the scroll obscuring the ingredient below.
The art is beautiful! It did feel like it was a bit too easy, maybe a timer on each order would work? Good job!
Beautiful game! And the mechanics are cool
Nice art!
There's some insane production value here! Scrolls would be great to not have open/close all the time and the length could be a bit more, with maybe the speed being an additional factor?
I like the concept and the art style! Great job on the music too.
Also I feel like clicking the ingredient could spawn it without the need of another click, but great game anyway
As far as the presentation goes, your team knocked it out of the park. You have good sound, a really nice, cohesive visual style, and a fun universe to set the game in. Working at a fast food restaurant that serves disgusting food to evil characters is funny, and I was drawn in immediately!
From a gameplay perspective, this submission is missing its core mechanic, in my opinion. I'm not quite sure it's a game yet. The current loop is following simple instructions under no time pressure or compounding mechanic of any kind, which I think is a shame since every other aspect of this project is fantastic.
It took me a while to understand how to assemble the burgers and I read the tutorial 3 times xd. Finally I understood it and I was able to play it well! I still got the bad ending, I've been sent back to hell :(. Very good idea adapted to the theme of the jam, I loved the art and very fun gameplay! image.png
The art is very beautiful!
The game is easy. Think about creating something that makes it harder as the level goes up.
Congratulations for the game!
Very nice game! Such amazing art and funny story. The game could have just a bit of progression but i enjoyed it nonetheless. Good work!
the game has such an amazing art and atmosphere, I really liked it :)
I was a fun game! Got the good ending on the first try!
burger.png
Verry funny it was one of our idea during the brainstormong ^^' the game is clean well done, but cropped :/ I was impossible to see the bottom of the game :/
I unfortunately couldn't get it to launch on here and it was cropping weirdly on itch. I wasn't a fan of the controls and the gameplay could be better tbh like the scrolls were annoying and it could be cooler to figure out the ingredients yourself or to cook some of them instead of going through a list but I definitely was a fan of the art!
Really strong graphics, and a simple mechanic which is polished enough to be very nice to play. On Linux it did not load properly here (worked fine on itch.io but not in fullscreen, where it was cropped).
top notch art. the concept was cool. would have liked better scroll closing logic and a way to get to the tutorial/controls page without restarting the game. overall a consistent and solid game, nice work!
Beautiful graphics and from what I see, inspired by Potion Craft
Fantastic visuals and art, fantastic music, funny dialogue, it took me a bit to understand how the screen works but super well done!
Burgers be looking kinda good! Well done! Gotta have some cucaracha spice, mmm
The art is really good and the burgers look really demonic. Interesting that another group made a game about burgers, because we also made a game called "Demon Burger" :hamburger:
@pusheeneiro And you're absolutely right! I was inspired by potion craft and the suffering Middle Ages.
Lol! Fun game! Great work
Beautiful but I had problems with the HTML5 version where I was not able to see the Send order button. I think the screen at the bottom was cut off or something
Unfortunately game was cropped for me on html5 and windows builds. :(
Awesome art and music! Nice and creepy. As others mentioned as well: less clicking would make it even more fun I think. Great job overall.
Gorgeous art, not the only take on this concept I've seen in this jam but definitely the cleanest execution of it. I also had issues with the embedded player of itch unfortunately.
Very interesting take on theme, I thought this was great! However I couldn't see the bottom 33% of the screen, it was cut off on the itch page...idk why :( I could barely see the burger or anything below where you select your ingredients!
Well done! The music and art on this were great. One mark against the music is that the replay loop could be a bit jarring, otherwise it was great! Like others, I got a bad ending and didn't really understand why. I was probably messing something up I didn't realize, but I could have sworn I did it all correctly. I also felt the summoning scrolls could be a bit clunky as you would have to unroll a scroll and then click on it again to get an ingredient to appear. Other than that, I thought it was a interesting take on the theme and a funny food making game. Nice job!
It was great to see someone else make a cooking game. The art is simply fantastic. Thanks for the game.
One thing that I would recommend improving is the amount of arbitrary waiting in the game. I like the type effect for dialog, but it took a long time to be fully typed in and then the ingredients were added to your list. If those could have been done together the player wouldn't be waiting too long before getting started
The art and sound was very atmospheric, definitely fit the theme, and this is a really good start to a more fully fleshed out cooking game design, add in a few minigames or drawing out some designs and a couple extra reasons to switch back and forth between the top and bottom screens and you've got a decent game
Really funny, but sadly I've lost
Beautiful art ! Loved the medieval demon style, and the blob fish burger. It would be great if the dialogue was a little bit quicker! Great submission
well done. i enjoyed the art.
I really adore the artstyle for the game and I like that the characters sort of have some personality to them and their orders. Overall great job!
Nice art and music. Might be better if the texts popping faster, and have 16:9 resolution and rearrange the layout to not have the up and down buttons. Overall is great. :D
