Well Done! The only critique I have is that the inidicator of the 'grab' action could be filled a little bit when you are near the object. I didn't realize that you had to keep the Action key pressed. Also the 'eat' items could be near the bot at first. Because I first thought that I had to feed him the enemies to bring them to hime :D ha ha ha :D The graphics and audio give a nice but not too frantic mood. That is really fitting. You should be proud!
This is a very solid entry. All scores 5/5, and on top of another Pixi.js buddy, I can only applaud :clap:
Very impressive, I like how much interesting gameplay you achieve with so minimalistic and tight controls. And you also have great sounds, graphics and music :scream_cat: The procedural combination of gun types is amazing.

I found a minor issue though, I accidentally threw a fruit out of bounds and was unable to reach it anymore. I would also like to have some indicator of upgrade status and food level for my summons.
At the time of making this comment, this is my favorite game so far. This is amazing.
I didn't run into any issues and there were several surprises I enjoyed:
-A max upgraded summon does a cute little headshake.
-A carried summon keeps on shooting like a good little buddy.
-I greatly appreciate the decision to let you respawn for free in the context of a jam game.
-At the end of my playtime, my computer sounded like it was making popcorn.
I'd love to see this developed with more upgrade choices and character types. Your art style and minimal game design choices are top notch.
One of my favorites from LD55 so far. Fun upgrade choices, along with choosing whether to get oranges or crystals, good difficulty balance. Visuals and sounds were wonderful too.
This game is great, the amount of polish really adds to the experience. The concept is a fun and unique take on the genre. Overall good job :)
This is incredible. I feel like it's an amazing example that a jam game doesn't need to be hard to be fun.
I honestly ended up playing for waaay longer than I probably should have, it's just super engaging! I love my cute lil demon guys and giving them their lil oranges! <3
I think if there were more upgrades, and a couple different base demons you could summon, I could honestly put hours into this. Super fun game with a lot of potential! Incredible job! This is my first game of the jam that I'm putting all 5s across the board! ^^
The idea is really fun and I had fun trying the game. The visuals and the music is also pretty good. But the monsters do not always wants to eat, even though they are not full. But overall a pretty good combo game. Well done.
Amazing! This is so fun, cute and polished. I kept playing way after wave 10, and I loved it. I'd say the only minor issues were that I couldn't see which creature I was feeding, and what upgrade they already have. But this is only minor, I really enjoyed this game and I would love to see it further developed in the future. Also: bonus point for the creature's eyes following the witch when they're carrying an orange. Great job!
Really good! A graphical indicator showing that a turret has been upgraded would be handy. Some of the animations also took a lot of time, which slowed the action down a bit (the upgrade and summoning ones).
Respawning was a really nice touch.
The pixel art for this game is really lovely, I like the pixel-witch, the gameplay is is a good difficulty level - It was a nice idea to bring stuff back to your minions/creatures, it would have been an extra nice touch to place them where you want - but this is a great game for Compo!!
This is a really great entry! The core gameplay is super fun, the intersection of tower defense X vampire-survivor is clearly genius. The sprites and animations are great-looking but the overall look of the game feels a bit empty, some decoration would go some way in remedying that. :) Would love to see more monsters and maybe specialization upgrades against different sorts of monsters for the familiars? Anyway, great job, makes me want to see more of it! :smile:
Very cool pixel art, I'm in love with it.
It's a kind of addictive tower defense done right. The mechanics are balanced to be neither too easy nor too hard. The graphics are clean... I love it! congratulations!

This game loop is pretty strong, it took me to wave 6 that I realized you can carry your little demon (?) turret with you and run around and drop them anywhere! it has the potential to be more complete and nice job!

well done, your game was fun to play and had great polish! I enjoy upgrading games so this was basically made for me. also running around with a demon on your head shooting enemies is hilarious
Simple but very fun game loop! Liked the music and graphics. The animation when collecting a purple *thing* maybe got a bit long after a while but otherwise the animations were really cool. Balancing wise I feel like just leveling up the inital familiars and basically irnoring the other ones was a bit too powerful, but the upgrades always felt worth it and like a proper improvement. Great entry!
