Wow, what an experience. An excellent case of "show, don't tell" when it comes to the mechanics, and I really felt that I was a part of something. The immersion here is really, _really_ excellent. Strong sound design, beautiful graphics, and a very cool and innovative core mechanic. Super impressive, well done! :tada: EDIT: RIP to the two girls lost in the process. Sorry it took me a minute to figure out what was going on. :sweat_smile:

Wow ! I really liked this game ! The sound brings a very nice atmosphere, I loved the arm which take the dancers with an evil laugh, well done :slight_smile: I successfully summon the sun \o/ not so easy :)

What a great idea on the theme. And I liked the self explanatory part of the movement and the eyes. the mood was great too. I especially liked the shadows, and how they were kind of important for the movement too. If I could wish for one thing, it would be either the shadows to be more lively (due to the flickering fire and the movement of the dancers) or for a more surrounding background sound, I think that would boost the immersion even further.
Took me a few tries to understand but got it eventually. Good job, great design!
Love the sound design and especially how the music continues to evolve and build as the game progresses. The whole atmosphere really sells it, and despite the fact that you are just moving the mouse around a bit, it's surprisingly immersive and engaging!
The sound design is superb, and the graphics are impressive. I didn't quite understand what was happening at first, but I got it on my second try :)

It was a very unique and interesting game! Sort of reminded me of times when back in school I wasn't confident what part comes next during dancing, so I just try to mimic others and not create too much attention. :sweat_smile: Amazing visuals and sound design too!
So far the best game I played here, Mood, Music and and the visuals are 10/10!

wow that was quite fun and exciting
Really fun and innovative concept! Even though it wasn't too difficult, it felt very intense all the way through. The only issue I had playing was that the slow following of the mouse hurt a lot during the outer circle rotations where you need to move pretty dang fast, but by the end of the sequence I really felt like I'd mastered blending in with the dance.

Man, it's literally scary lol. Took me a few times to figure out how to play. Got far into the dance, which is a bit hypnotizing. Slipped up once and it was all down hill from there. The music choice is great, and the demon sound is legit scary.

following the dance is funny and well executed. Maybe a bit long at the end but I was playing with a trackpad so my bad. I really like how you show that we are out of sync and it is satisfying to make the eyes go back in the shadows when doing it right
Wow. It was so immersive. I was in the dark and was completely in the game for I don't know how long. I liked the intro. The eyes were nice placed so you want to explore. I went to the grass and expected to be killed or idk. Then the true game started. Even with a trackpad, it was fun to play and very satisfying to know what to do without any explanation. The progressive feedback when you are misplaced is very good and even more when you loose one member. It was a bit repetitive tho. Don't know if you tried others patterns but maybe some like combining rotation + fwd/bwd movement could have been cool (can't remember if there were some). Or maybe small circles of 3-4 peoples and I think there are a lot to invent. I thank of scoring too but it would have lost immersion I guess. I also wished something happening with the fire and/or some spirit to appear. And the music... it was awesome. I don't know if it could make a real game, but maybe it can be integrated in a RPG game. But for a LD entry it was just very well executed. Nice job!

A game that tells you nothing, but also everything that you needed to know. The strong standout for me is the sound! Playing this with headphones on and listening to the sound get more creepy as time went on was intense. The theme is strong here and not knowing exactly what was going on definitely adds to the experience. A great short little experience.
Managed to finish it, second try! Amazing idea and implementation. The sound really gets to you and the music is amazing. I think you guys can add this project, imagine multiplayer :smile: . Great entry! At first I was just running around in the middle saying "Ahh this is all about me!". I was wrong!

Excellent sound track, nice mechanic, even though it felt pretty horrible to play on the trackpad!
Great use of the theme. I was completely absorbed by the dance. I felt a real sense of satisfaction when I knew I had succeeded. The music evolving with the difficulty is cool and accentuates the fear of losing. I died once because I didn't understand, the second time I found my place and no one disappeared. It was cool!

Really cool mood in this game, audio is top notch and really sells the ritual and builds on the visuals to create a tense but mesmerising atmosphere. I agree with other commenters that I wish there was a way to tell your progress but overall a really enjoyable and memorable game experience. Well done!
Wow! It is really unique(at least from all what I checked in this Ludum and before it) view on the theme Summoning. It was pretty challenging to finish it but I really like it!

Idea and music are very good.
I also like how because of our mistakes someone else gets eaten. Even though it's not the player but the game gets harder because it is hard to understand the right moves with less people around.

I really enjoyed this! It made me gasp when I slipped out of line at one point. Nice concept and mood. Using the mouse felt really intuitive. Great game!
The music was absolutely awesome, love the mood. Dancing with the mouse was ok, but I think it would be cool to also add a rhythm element. I was kind of shaking the mouse anyway during the pauses where the women were dancing in place.

Oh wow. The first time the eyeballs started popping up in the darkness really sent shivers down my spine. This game really nailed the atmosphere. At first I was wondering how the difficulty could ramp effectively, but holy cow was that answered! I think it ramped perfectly. The only thing I think could add to this is if the music/audio got a bit more *spooky* when you started messing up. The eyes popping up are great, but combining that with some audio cues would make it even more scary. Overall, fantastic game! I really enjoyed it.
It took me a while to figure out the rithm, but I got the hang of it. The music and the atmosphere are great!

Really a unique experience, with great execution and finish! Unfortunately I'm such a bad dancer, I think I accidentally summoned Cthulhu instead of the sun.
The controls are very intuitive and the gameplay was pretty self explanatory. I liked the overall mood of the game. I liked the eyes as indicators of how much you messed up and the music becoming progessively more exciting. I accidentally slipped close to the end but managed to catch myself at the last second. Nice game!
Who are you guys? The Lava Team should become a thing if it isn't already. While this game is not super fun as a game, it gets top grades from me in all other regards. Well, I didn't figure everything out on the first play, for example I thought the starting location is the circle so I spent a minute dancing and spinning in there like an idiot, until I noticed the path (I bet those three priestesses could already guess the world is about to end). Then, when reaching the actual circle I tried dancing inside it thinking myself the central part of the ritual, of course my self absorbtion has doomed the world. But, everything became clear on the second try. Really original game, great rendition of the theme, every piece of art was fitting, and programming must not have been trivial either. And I love that each character sprite is unique. Carry on the good work.
That is cool! I feel enlightened now :eye: WebGL is not very good at playing looped music, I recommend making a native build next time as well. I also liked the dress designs and overall feeling of the game.

Really interesting take on the theme, with a very peculiar game mechanic. The music is really great and fits perfectly, and also the way you used lighting to create the right atmosphere is really good. I would have not disliked a bit of an extra difficulty, for instance by increasing the dancing speed even more, or by having different control over the movement (e.g., WASD to move plus Q and E to rotate, which would have made it a fair bit more challenging). Overall, a great little experience I enjoyed till the end.

Really interesting game! It's an nice idea that fits the theme, and works wonder for a short game like this. The music is great and changes slightly over time (I think?). On their own the sprites are average, but with the smart use of the shadows from the fire it looks much better suddently. Congrats!

Just wow! It is one of the most interesting and fun to play game I encountered this LD. I simply love the idea and execution. Great art style and music too! I just wish there was more dances that get more and more complicated with time, but I get it wouldn't really fit the theme of the game, but the time in LD is really limiting factor. Just amazing job with the game!

My first time playing I don't think the dance part started for whatever reason? I was very lost and walked around a bunch and then just restarted and I got to it the next time.
