Good game overall. The graphics were really great! I had a good time playing it and i can see the experience you guys have doing games. Just a couple of things to include as feedback that i think could have improved my experience.

* The controls felt weird, i would like to look up and down. Some obstacles were down and i could not see the path to it * The game is very difficult, i felt over in some obstacle and had to start everything again and i did it once, the second time i felt like it was too much effort, i think there was some other world but unfortunately could not reach them. I think this kind of punish is not as needed in a game jam where you want people to see everything you've done * I think the theme was not so strong in the game, would like to see more reference to it

Keep working hard guys!

Cairn by Amaroq 2021-10-07T02:30:23Z

I really enjoyed the mood of the game, the graphics are great and i think it was a very original approach to the theme using the village and the cairn to gather rocks.

To be honest i couldn't made a pile of rocks, the base was not plane and some problems with gravity and drags. But i could see the first part and the dialogs and it was really well made, the cairn part didn't work out for me because of this frustration and its a shame because if it was a little bit easier it could've been a really great entry.

I understand the time limitation to work on this on a weekend, but maybe it was a matter of priorities, the cairn and rocks part for me it was where you want the player to have the best experience, because is the name of the game and the theme and i feel most of the "polish" was done in the first part which i enjoyed btw. Well, just a little feedback if its useful for you guys for future projects.

Best of lucks, keep doing awesome games!

Confession by Transylvanian Blacksmiths 2021-10-06T03:30:36Z

I enjoyed the game, seems really professional for me, nice art, sound and atmosphere. I think the "darkwood" vibes were good, the lightning and paranoia effect, well made. I can see the effort you guys put on this game.

Some points that could have improved my experience as a player:

* More feedback on the things that were happening, it could be sounds or even an effect in the world (particles or something) for example for events like bullets when hit, enemy spawns, health lost, sometimes i were about to die and didn't notice. * Some difference in some enemy, i know is a jam and we have little to none time, but some change in color or something to felt enemies different, even bosses, i fought only one and i think it was the same that small enemies. I am not sure about the respawn enemies decision, maybe too difficult if you want players to complete the experience with no problems * Some different room or different sounds on rooms, game felt repetitive at some point * Maybe more explanation in game, i killed a boss and the game restart and i lost my items, that was confusing and i didn't get the journal i unlocked, maybe it was just me, but did not totally get the lore behind without reading the itch page

Anyway, good job guys, keep working this great.

eXtreme Restaurant Simulator by Lascax 2021-10-07T01:22:40Z

Awesome! The game is great, the gameplay is fun and really well made. The idea of using phone movement, vibration, the stability of the waitress, really well choices and to me i can see you have experience in what you are doing. It takes a challange to do a mobile game in a weekend using this kind of mechanics but i think you nailed it. Congratulations!

A Stable Life by baconharemthug 2021-10-07T01:15:05Z

I enjoyed this game, made me read a lot in a clever way showing some suspense and engagement on the story step by step. If i knew all the text on that intro upfront, i am not sure if i was reading it hehe. The story is solid, the ambience and the mood in general. Nice entry.

Maybe some things that could have worked better for me:

* Movement felt clunchy, i got stuck in some places near the bed and the crouch could have some "smooth" movement just to be more immersive * Some more audio in the game, maybe when inspect, walk, find an important clue * Highlight interactables when i am close (maybe makes the game too easy not sure) but i think its to consider to deal with "lazy" players

Overall nice game, really made me feel like a detective, the theme was subtle almost only in the title, but i can see there were good game design decisions in the lecture and ending of the game (not punishing the bad choices were a great decision for my perspective). Keep it up!

Unstable Environment by SirTobyB 2021-10-07T00:45:16Z

I couldn't save the world, and i tried a few times so i guess i am not the person :( The game is good, the intro is awesome and i enjoy these kind of games. I think it was challenging not knowing what my selections could lead too, i found myself guessing most of the times but i understand it was the idea.

Some things maybe to improve my experience next time :D

* Graphics could improve, not a blocker to play this game but it is always nice to play a nice looking game. Maybe using more images ingame i dunno i am a programmer myself so dont count me on this * I could not find how to restart the game, had to close and open, could be useful to have the retry button in this kind of games were you expect to fail a few times * Maybe the game could be simplified a little, i could not handle all the information sometimes. Maybe the same idea with less choices or less indicators was good also but to be honest maybe its something personal and the game is easy and simple for everyone. Even in the year result maybe use more colors to easily match for example, all sociaty related information is blue.

The humor is great, the texts and voice acting are cool, good job on that. Keep it up!

Nice game! I loved the graphics and the idea! The transitions between driving and moving in the ship was really smooth.

Nanna III: A Girl and Her Bear by gamebuilder 2022-04-21T02:17:40Z

Really good game, felt like poetry for me. Unexpected controls to be honest but felt a roguelike vibe in this.

I dont know if there is a way no complete this game without getting hunger, at some point i had no food and just got hunger and get up again.

Will play the other Nanna games after this! Good luck!

Not Enough Time: The Game by Marianoa213 2022-04-21T01:16:53Z

I enjoyed the game! Although i will leave some comments that could have improve my experiencie:

* The impassable walls could be in another color or another texture to be more visible * No sure about having to reload manually with right click, was a bit confusing for me and had to go to the how to play to understand how to get more bullets. But still not sure if its was a good design decision * Game needs more sounds/ambience, some decorates in the background could work too, it seemed "too simple" at least from my perspective * Game felt the same, maybe spawn some simple power ups (even bullets could have reworked to be a collectible instead of reload), or different monsters or another mechanic in the room, traps, idk.

I know we have little to no time but i feel a little bit of polish was missing to improve the experience. I hope some of this helps you in further projects!

Please rate my game also!

LD55 — Summoning

Summoned Assault by milano23 2024-04-20T17:03:00Z

Cool idea, i think it lacks some polish for the UIs and effects. But the concept works. Some creatures had the same stats and i was able to play with only one type of creature, that could require a more complex design on how damage affect each creatures so you could adapt the creatures to the environment. Good work!

Wonder Woods by Sarah 2024-04-21T19:44:59Z

Really good work with this entry, incredible how you made a stardew valley in a weekend. I managed to complete the game ignoring almost every item and spell so maybe that its my feedback, the visuals and sounds are great, i love how the world turns darker as vitality is low and music also changed. Maybe the gameplay was what needed more polish, try to find use for spells or items and if there is no use, better to keep them off the game, i understand there is a lot of work befind all of that and is tempting to show it for the visuals, but could be confusing to start playing having like more than 10s fruits and boxes everywhere to only need a few. I read the disclaimer so i guess you know what im saying. The scope seemed huge for a solo dev so congratulations for trying out and really awesome work despite reducing the scope, maybe also for next time, think of a smaller scope and then increase it so you get the mini gameplay working right before adding all the cool stuff. Congratulations again on this great entry!

Blood From a Tome by GuitarBro 2024-04-22T23:30:38Z

I enjoyed the game, i have to say im a big fan of inscyption and card games in general. I understand that for someone who dont usually play card games the introduction may seem a little bit hard with all the keywords and events. Overall a really good entry, awesome that you could achieve all this in a weekend so congratulations and good luck!

The Fifth Ritual This Week by Jonathan Fischer 2024-04-23T00:19:41Z

Great work, the visuals are great and the audio is well polished too. I had some troubles to understand what i had to do until i read something about a cupboard. Also there were one item that was quite hidden too that cost me some time to find but anyway it felt good to discover those things. I think the biggest problem was grabbing and placing objects as i had to drop them on the spot and it wasn't easy sometimes. But good job overall, i had fun playing it!

Zoo Fantastica by Rexagon 2024-04-19T00:31:38Z

The graphics are really good, and the ambience is great. The puzzles are a bit hard if you just want to play without reading (like some people do). The instructions are not so clear at least ingame, maybe include some easier puzzle to make the player recognise the patterns. Also maybe some feedback during the puzzle to understand if you are doing things right or wrong. Besides the gameplay the idea is good but maybe needed more time to introduce players better. Good luck!

Bug Mage by COKE 2024-04-20T17:24:17Z

Good entry, i killed the bee everytime until i completed the game and read the description. Maybe a little more feedback in game for that could work.

Also i had troubles with the insect that kept multiplying, it got me in an almost stuck state where it took me long to defeat it but it was impossible for them to kill me unless missclick (which happened for trying to speedrun that kills), so that could be improved also. My deck was 2 vines, 2 fireballs and 1 wind.

The graphics and sounds are great, i had fun so good work!

Spirit Stone's Summon by Ausstein 2024-04-19T00:17:02Z

Really nice entry, i loved the idea of protecting the forest being a fairy. I think the progression in these kind of games is really difficult to achieve, i felt i was doing poorly in the early game and then after one of the waves i struggled and in the late game i was unstoppable with my tigers and foxes.

I completed the game and it got me engaged till the end. As othes mentioned here it could be interesting to explore the idea a bit further with more waves, scenarios and upgrades.

Overall a great entry!

Ghostly Notes by Kjip 2024-04-30T23:14:14Z

I think the visuals are really good, didnt expect that with just the portrait. The piano scene was well polished and felt nice. I think the game is kind of boring to be honest because its too simple. Some feedback in case you find it useful: - the menu is nice but felt a different game with that different style, the piano scene is awesome, could replace the menu with some intro in that same piano scene that looks better - include some more details in the piano scene, maybe in the background, to give more ambience and decoration something moving in the background or i dont know, to feel that the piano is somewhere not in the middle of nowhere - some challange to avoid making the same simon game, maybe include more interactions, timings notes, colors, tips in case you dont know which note is coming, something to make me feel to try another match because i think i could do it better

(my favourite ghost was the italian one)

Containment55.bin by Fionnabhair 2024-04-30T22:53:36Z

Good job, i managed to complete the game. I always wanted to do some terminal game so was curious about it when i saw the portrait. The experience was good, i think some improvements could be: - Sound effects, maybe when pushing codes or opening files. Could add more ambience to it. - More files / commands / actions the user has to make - Improve terminal navigation (remove files extension to make it easier to type, or include tab autocomplete function)

At least some things i think could improve the game.

Summoning Sun by Kamuniaft 2024-04-25T23:37:40Z

One of the best games i tried, really refreshing. The idea is cool, loved the graphics, the music and the use of the theme. Really original guys, congratulations on this great entry! Loved it

Parmigiano Rolliano by LiquidFunk 2024-04-22T23:03:05Z

Great entry, i enjoyed the game and had fun playing it! I tried to just hit start but couldnt do nothing so good idea to include that help button there.

Mobius by Jerem Watts 2024-04-19T01:02:14Z

I liked the graphics and the audio, the mood overall is very well made, made me feel like DOOM aesthetic and as an outsider summoned in another world. I thnk the world building is a bit tedious and distances felt too long, i had one encounter with somebody that i killed instantly and didnt felt like a fight. The walljumps and movement mechanic was good and the jump fx on skinpolene were well polished. I had some troubles understanding what to do and where cassetes were, also could not follow the lore behind but i liked that you guys used voices to tell it. Good luck!

Siela by Gnum_ 2024-04-25T23:26:16Z

I liked the direction this was going, the idea was good, maybe the scope was big. I felt if the game felt darker and with some challanges to go through the souls, could be an improvement, maybe not only enemies, could be easier to make the terrain difficult to walk, obstacles or things that could kill you, and i would low the dark and try to focus on the ambience. More sounds fx (voice was cool tohugh). The low poly was on point and the idea was there, i felt polish and make the exploration interesting was whats missing. Congratulations anyway!

No Tea Time for Slimes by HermitGamesmiths 2024-04-25T23:14:20Z

Fun game! I enjoyed the level design and the traps, very well done. Maybe some improvements could be more decorations to the levels, add more sounds and fx, a little more polish to the game feel, i know there is no time but thats just my thouhgts on how this could have been a better entry. Anyway this is great, it was fun and it looks really good. Congrats!

Ballad of Lead Shroud by KrummSakura 2024-04-21T20:01:35Z

Nice atmosphere, a very narrative entry, i like the tension it creates with the story, maybe the missing opportunity here its the sound/ambience. I felt that could have added more to the atmosphere, all the interactions were making that piano sound (maybe adding more interactions, door sounds, the objects, etc), the piano in the background its the same in the complete history, even in the most tense part and in the end, so that could be an improvement to create more engagmenent with the narrative. I think the story could have been a bit longer, or maybe adding some flashback or something else like more interactions, but i know there is no much time for a bigger scope. Overally the concept is good and well done.

The Acolyte's Errand by DubiousCubious 2024-04-30T23:29:27Z

The graphics are great, i loved the art. Some things i would improve: - I felt the controls were weird, maybe expecting to attack while jumping and move a little faster, also im not sure about jumping with space, maybe arrow up and changing summon ability with z, dont know - Some sfx were missing also, on damage and receive damage at least, the music is great though - As others mentioned, some enemy stuck inside my hitbox also and thats annoying - On restart dont execute all introduction, i want to restart as quick as possible - Maybe (this is really personal but anyway), give two more hearts for really bad players like me who tried a few times and died and miss the opportunity to see the game end, its a game jam after all and you want people to be able to finish the game beyond their frustration
