Quick heads up: your web version doesn't seem to work
WebGL build seems not to be working, otherwise cool game!
It gives very Age of War vibes! Really like that there is a level select, an upgrade system, and you can select your loadout of units.
The units could definitely do with moving a bit faster, I think. Otherwise, really good job!
I think the upgrade system might be bugged or I did not understand it. But other than that cool game.
Fun summoning troops game. I think there is a bug related to the progression system (I could basically buy everything from the getgo). Fun! And super cool music as well.
There are some bugs, upgrade sistem is kinda broken. Cool game, remembers me of some older game
Web build is broken
"Uh oh! If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file.
This usually means you created your .zip file by zipping the entire folder, and index.html is somewhere like MyGame/index.html. If you recreate your .zip with index.html file in the root, this error should go away.
See the embedding guide for more details. ludumdare.com/resources/guides/embedding/

I believe you need to rename your main html file to index.html in your web export in order to let it be played on the web!
Overall tho, pretty fun. Gameplay feels a little slow, but you have a pretty decent system going !
The economy seems to be completely broken: you can pump up units even if there are no resources for it. However, it is unclear whether it works or not: you can’t pass the second level even after leveling up to 50lvl in each category. Also, it is unclear what kind of strategy there might be in the game, given the complete mirroring of the forces of the conflict, coupled with the absence of any additional mechanics.
This is great, super fun. needs a bit of polish, but for a game jam, superb work :)
rate my game its made in notepad:"https://ldj.am/$386705"

Only just realized you can pretty much buy whatever you want in the shop too LMFAO I maxed out my characters but it seems like the knight was the only one viable
I think the pixelart assets by themselves were very solid! If the pixel depth/scaling were consistent this game would be top in graphics for me
Cool game, I like it! But I didn't know when you skip the level the whole upgrade is down and I had to start over again. Anyway it was good!
Some mismatches in terms of graphical coherence (resolution). The upgrade system seems broken and doesn't save its state. Otherwise it is easy to understand and pretty cool
Cool concept, like the idea of having different troops that are good for different maps so you need to think which troops to choose for different maps. The speed felt a bit slow to me since the combat doesn't require many inputs I felt like I had to sit and wait for them to do their job. There could be more for the player to do while in combat
Nice game ! I liked it. Maybe a small tutorial would help at the beginning.
Reminds me of old-school flash games like Paladog -- animations are really cool, and I really like the castle and tree textures! All I ask for is more than 3 levels so I can send forth my level 50 dudes against a worthy opponent :')
Nice, but gets quite repetitive soon. Maybe things could go a bit faster. Or first level could be more of a tutorial  Anyway, did enjoy it :)
lost more time than i should have playing this. Good core loop
its good, but the first unit is way way better then the 2nd and third, maybe needs a little more balancing
The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It’s like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!
Fun! It's a little hard to tell what is happening in the battle early on (maybe that's by design?). Got everything leveled up to 30+ and needed levels 4+!

An interesting concept. Patience, strategy and a lot of trial and error will be needed to get you there. Nice!
Smoky please stop commenting the same copy-pasted comment on so many different games. Love seeing this style of game, despite the bugs :)
Easy to understand, I keep trying and trying harder to beat them all. There is no malus leaving the battle before the one opponent fail? Nice guitar riff.
Good implementation of the game!
I played this for far longer than I expected. Definitely a good base and it was fun to see my level 50 knights rolling through a level. I expected a 4th unlock, because there was a 4th place in the equip menu.
Starting up this game I got a jumpscare from the sheer volume the game had in it's music haha. I spent a chunk of time into this game and I couldn't stop x'D In the beginning it was a bit slow and I struggled a little with finding out how I do things like upgrading your units. But after you progress a bit into the levels and you can upgrade things? It becomes much better and enjoyable. I don't know how I feel about the pause option mid game, then choosing to upgrade, then jump back into the game - without your progress being saved if that makes sense. Overall I enjoyed it and would definitely play more of it.
I probably gave 1 hour playtime on this, it was just so fun to play I couldn't stop. I kept wanting to upgrade everything to the max. I would say definitely work on balancing (because winning the game is easiest by just placing those knights and uprgrading them, from my experience). I really enjoyed the game, it was nostalgic and reminded me of that stick wars game I used to play as a kid that I also really enjoyed. I was quite immersed in the game with the music and interactive UI sound effects. I got a bit confused with the images on the UI when upgrading characters. However, what's most important is that the game is fun to play, so I overlooked the smaller "bugs". Well done! Loved it! (PS: I played this on web and it worked 100%)
This project remind me how I spent a LOT of time in mobile games like this (else there was a LOT of ADs:)
Translation: Game balance is something I am worth learning. This game has greatly increased gameplay time due to its strong numerical balance; In terms of game assets, there is room for improvement, but the core gameplay is very interesting.
Some cool pixel art and upgrades, but not much for the player to do during battles except spam your unit and watch them slowly grind away. Pixel art was scaled up and down way too much too and should have stuck with one size.
