I often find platformers frustrating, so maybe I'm not the best judge for your game :P It's pretty nice, though I found myself screaming at the shape of the hitboxes more than I like. I loved the bits of humour!
Also: it's not always clear what is part of the background and what isn't.
I really liked that intro :D the controls are a bit clunky though

Oooh crikey this is tough. I love the theme, graphics, music and humour! Once I'm past the first boulder, I can't onto the next ledge. I'm sure this is intentional, but I'm uncertain what to do here? Great game though.
I had a little problems with jumping, by problably I'm lame. Sound are very fun and I love sound of dying. It sounds like some meme sound which I heard earlier.
it is kinda hard game to play but i really like the slimes :>. maybe the platforms can be pizel art too.
Intro was funny and enjoyable! I laughed out loud when the first rock fell, great timing. Gameplay was just a bit too infuriating for me though due to rather obscure hit boxes :frowning2: At first I felt movement was too slow, but then the speed pickup made me happy but then quite sad as it runs out without warning which makes the platforming a bit more tedious. The graphics are lovely but mix of pixel densities is a bit too much (but that's only a minor complaint) and the audio was fitting and humorous!

The hitboxes could be a little less...oof. Otherwise its a fun little platformer
Thanks for the feedback! For the next event, we will try to make the textures and sprites more distinctive from each other and of course more pleasing to the eye.

So I didn't make it very far, I think the start of the first level should be just *slightly* easier to ease the player into using the controls and such, but for more patient/advanced players, it shouldn't be a problem. I liked the intro, the slime animation was adorable, the sounds were picked well and it fits the theme, so well done! :)

The intro was great! I finally got through it in about 100 deaths but I was pretty close to rage quitting at times. Hard platformers are fine but this could do with a bit more generous hitbox. Also having to guess which rock had the cookie behind it was not fun.
