Wow, what you did is really cool. I really liked the graphics and the idea itself (it seems that no one has ever seen ideas with clones and teleports). The palette very strongly reminded the hollow knight. It even seems that a lot more time was spent on work here than 3 days. Great!
If you found SECRET CODE key combination, like this comment :key2: :heavy_plus_sign: :lock: :arrow_right: :unlock:
Well, this is very good, despite the fact that there are several bugs in the game (you cannot pick up an item from the chest if it falls into you and once the camera is moving from one location to another, it is just stuck in place). The plot I did not see (or did not understand). The graphics are good.
Wow, that looks really cool. Despite the fact that this is your first LD, it is clear that you have already worked on games, since what you did cannot be done in 72 hours without a team. I would like to look at your other games if you laid them out somewhere, because this one looks unrealistically cool!
If you find some JoJo's references -> like this comment pls :8ball:
(re): If you check only UPper register letters in the Diego adress, you will find some easter egg :^)
I really liked the game! The graphics are pleasing to the eye, and the animations worked out very high quality. But still, it seems to me that the game is missing something, for example, sounds or some interesting mechanics related to fishing.
Telling stories for the bard turned out to be more fun than I thought. I really liked the idea of the game, but it seems to me that it is almost impossible to tell a story so that everyone remembers only the truth, and at the same time you don’t break your bones.
It looks very interesting. For some reason, I had problems with audio and no background music was heard (although maybe it just isn’t, idk)
@empty-set Thank you for such a detailed review!
We also think the puzzles turned out to be very difficult because we came up with them very quickly, and while testing the game, the tester also said that it was very difficult to complete the game without prompts. There was not much time left, so we managed to fix all the bugs we found so that the game worked stably and the project was pleasant to play, but if we started simplifying the puzzles in the game, it would lead to a few more bugs, so we left everything as it is.
The graphics look very cute, the portraits with Pepe seem especially funny. I accidentally walked past the academy at the end and fell off the level, apparently they forgot to put up an invisible wall.
I really liked the game. I had associations with the Cult of the Lamb and the RTS genre. A very good combination.
My adventure ended in a room with a bunch of jugs. I really have no idea what I was supposed to do with it. I found 3 books, read them, but to be honest, it’s not even clear which book should be read first in order to understand the procedure. One of the books has duplicate pages. The hints in the book are written very vaguely to understand what is required of you, so I tried to find something that I could interact with, but I couldn’t find it. This frustrates me, perhaps this was done with the purpose of making me think about how to correctly understand the text in the book or so that I opened ChatGPT and apparently rewrote the text from the book manually there so that he would explain to me what I need to do, but this is not the same gameplay which would be interesting to me. The graphics look good and remind me of FOR THE KING.
It's a little difficult to understand what exactly you need to do in the game to beat it. As a security guard, I collected all possible medicines and more than 60 batteries, found several ghosts, but what next? I thought that jump scares appeared in places where there were objects you needed, but I'm not sure that was the case, because sometimes they appeared in corridors where there was literally nothing. The room with cameras seems useless; moving objects cannot be seen in it.
The idea is quite interesting. I also liked the visuals and music. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past more than 2/3 on Rosy, although I tried, it seems, every possible word.
@quasilyte Yo. Thanks for the detailed feedback on the game. I agree that the rng in the game doesn't always feel fair, unfortunately we didn't have time to test everything well enough because we decided to add as many items as possible to make the game more interesting.
However, in several runs I almost always managed to reach 666 meters, I even had two attempts where I reached 1000+ meters. The runs will be easier if you use, perhaps, not entirely obvious mechanics: + if you had several runs of 200+ meters, then you probably noticed that the knight always appears at the same distance and restores you a little health and hunger. He will also appear again later and help you again, but not so generously. In each of my runs, I tried to save as many useful resources as possible for 200 meters. + there is a way to almost always get a large mushroom from a turtle and for this you do not need to catch it at all. + the Rat is probably one of the most useful NPCs. Surely you already understood that for a piece of cheese it returns a previously thrown item. If you use this mechanic correctly, you will always know what the rat will bring you, use it wisely. + the sword is fragile, it is very difficult to kill someone with a stub, so on a long journey even tools can be a good help in the fight for your life, but you do not have to fight with everything you see, sometimes it is easier to try to run away or use something more effective to avoid combat. + In order to go as far as possible, you need to decide what is more important for you now health or food? Bonfire restores a lot of health, but in my runs I often skipped it to save food, because at that moment it was more important. I was also ready to endure hunger for a while to save a piece of cheese or garlic.
Well, if you really don't have enough space, just get rid of what was taking it up to begin with. Doesn't work? _Well, promises are forgotten over time, maybe you can do it too?_

A fun game that reminds me of VVVVVV. The controls are a bit inconvenient for me personally, because my keyboard doesn't have arrow keys xD. There are also some weird places where you have to throw a star while on one screen into another screen, hoping that it will hit the right spot. But otherwise I liked everything, it was interesting to complete the game, although I'm very far from the record, my PB is 7 minutes :)
The graphics look incredible. I intuitively figured out how to control, the platforming feels a little weird with the little pumpkin sprite that bounces you and the weird jumping physics. It also seems like the fire is supposed to save progress or heal you, but I still don't understand what it does? I also didn't take any damage from the goblins (maybe I did, but the HP bar didn't change). I'm really glad there's a menu, it's always a big plus for me when I can control the volume of the game and music.
Great graphics. It's funny that there is a "Settings" button, but there are no settings. I don't understand the point of the game. I went down to the very bottom and there was ... nothing. I also don't understand the point of the spheres that I picked up. I understood that the green ones restore health, but what did the others do? The lamp was of no use to me throughout the entire game. The game allows you to shoot, but the shells fly through the opponents, so why do I even hit them? I also did not receive damage from the opponents. Okay, I'm not even sure if the terrifying inhabitants of the depths are opponents? They just swam towards the submarine and seemed to be stacked inside me. The lower I went, the more clearly the collisions shone through, perhaps this is some feature of the Unity permissions.
I really liked the visual style, but because the bloom is very strong when you press it often, it is sometimes difficult to understand which element you need to interact with next, because they are all the same color. I tried to pass the 4th puzzle several times, but I couldn’t, because every time I reached a certain point, made a mistake and had to go through the whole puzzle again. It would be easier for me if it was possible to undo the action a couple of steps back. But this does not make the game worse overall. A great game on LD.
The visual style of the game looks very atmospheric! The keyboard controls feel uncomfortable and it was not obvious to me that you need to look at the monster so that it does not chase you. Overall, a great game for LD.
I liked the game, I used to play Minesweeper a lot. The graphics perfectly match the aesthetics of Minesweeper. The only thing that confused me was the mechanics with the ammo, I still didn't understand how to kill the bots.
The drones are too big to go anywhere. And it's not entirely clear why there are two drones, if one of them has a higher level of vision than the other and as I understand it, that's the only difference, maybe I didn't understand something...
I was very attracted by the graphics, reminding me of ROTMG. But I don't understand how I should fall further than 30 meters? I checked all the control buttons and in the HTML5 version only the arrow controls work. The other buttons indicated in the tooltip did not give any effect for me when pressed... As I understand it, they were supposed to slow down the fall? My character was flying so fast that I had to memorize the cave by heart to fly the record 38 meters xD It was still funny.
I really liked the game's visuals and core mechanics, which reminded me somewhat of Orianna's mechanics in League of Legends. It was a pleasure to play. The only thing I didn't quite understand was how much more powerful the robots become after they're upgraded.
I loved the feeling of being on a spaceship and constantly having to fix something, but I couldn't figure out what was going on. I was running around the ship like a madman, trying to figure out how to fix this or that, and then the game ended and they told me they'd found some kind of signal. Apparently, I was so focused on fixing my ship that I didn't even realize I was looking for something. I felt like an engineer on his first day at work, 10/10.
I didn't understand what I was supposed to do. Maybe I missed something? I was told to send a signal. I sent the letter E and it skipped to the next level, where I was also told to send a signal. But which one? I tried different ones, but nothing seemed to work. Maybe I really did misunderstand something. I also found a bug in the game. If you turn off the music and then send any signal, even an empty one, all the settings are reset.
I really enjoyed surfing the old internet. It was like immersing myself in all those old 2000s websites like Neocities, haha. The controls seemed a bit complicated for the web build, as traversing the mazes required a lot of camera rotation. I was also only able to play the web build itself using a proxy, given the internet situation in my country, although it actually added a certain vibe to the game. Thank you, a very respectable result in three days!
