Love the game's vibe! But a checkpoint at bonfires would be nice – it's rough restarting from the very end.

I love the production value of the intro cutscene and dialogue. The bonfire sound is really atsmopheric too!
The little bonfire animation has to be my favorite animation that I've seen during this jam so far :) The art and mood is very charming! I agree that checkpoints would've been nice, especially so people can easily see more of the game ^^ Great work to everyone!
The web version is cropped, and part of the controls is hidden for some reason. However, everything works fine in full-screen mode. mysterious-cave.png
Lovely pixel art and animations. However, the controls feel unresponsive, and upon dying you restart from the very beginning - I expected a bonfire checkpoint system instead.
The visuals are really special I think! Nice quick game, I like the additive effect of the pumpkin jumps. Once I got the hang of it I managed to complete it. Good effort!
Those metal renderings are CRISP *-* Very nice art! And good work for your first project.
Incredible art and animations! for a first unity project the is insane be proud! congrats :)
Very good, the game is very enjoyable. As already voted in the comments, I would like to have checkpoints by the campfire, but otherwise it's great. =)
Pixelart is NEAT
Pretty fun hack n slash platformer and the graphics were pretty decent too!
Solid game, I liked the vibe!
Enjoyed the game general mood and speed. I am not sure that the goblins were damaging me though, as I finished with my health bar still full, and only could die in spikes ?
@civ92 You can die from goblins and spikes. Thank you for the comment!
I like how the character sprites are drawn, very nice work. However, the controls aren't very nice, jumping on those trampolines was a bit problematic and the enemies attack when I attack, it feels a bit unfair. Also I was a bit confused when sitting down at the campfires, and I didn't realize that you have to sit at them for a bit, it seemed a bit illogical. Anyway, good job you did a great job!
visuals are so detailed! really love the art style and the little resting animation by the fire so petite so demure, would appreciate if there were save points so i dont have to go all the way back to the start :<
When trying to play it I get this message on itch.io (the embed one doesn't work for me) {7DA6E0F2-B5E7-46FB-9B5E-F2248CC0FDFB}.png
It's very beautiful, it went through to the end, It's just super nice to play.
@airgameboys couldn't tell you the reason as it works well for me. Sorry to see that.
I REAAAALLY loved the visuals — it’s amazing that you managed to draw and animate all of that in just 3 days! Just wow. As for the gameplay, the only downside was the sudden camera shifts — it feels like it would’ve been better if the camera stayed at a fixed distance... Other than that, awesome job!
Very decent pixel art graphics! Huge respect. The gameplay is interesting, but it's slightly frustrating to start over from the very beginning after dyingб I expected bonfires to serve as checkpoints. Sometimes goblins kept moving even after dying, which was quite amusing to watch :)

Неплохой пиксель-арт ^_^
А вообще - хорошее начало. Желаю дальнейшего развития и вдохновения ^_^
@xpoho Спасибо огромное, рад что понравилось!
i loved the opening scene.
Good graphics and good soundtrack. The character designs are wonderful. I imagine that with more time the visual aspect of the scenario will gain more details and the battles will become more complex.
Good job. Congratulations!
The graphics are magnificent but for me the mouse + keyboard handling is really complicated I don't understand this choice...and despite the campfires I go back to the beginning of the cave...
The graphics look incredible. I intuitively figured out how to control, the platforming feels a little weird with the little pumpkin sprite that bounces you and the weird jumping physics. It also seems like the fire is supposed to save progress or heal you, but I still don't understand what it does? I also didn't take any damage from the goblins (maybe I did, but the HP bar didn't change). I'm really glad there's a menu, it's always a big plus for me when I can control the volume of the game and music.
@circleoflife fire heals you. Thanks for the comment!
@piero-pbes-studio I wanted to add gamepad control, but unfortunately we didn't have time to do it. Thanks for your suggestions.
Some of the sprites are really fantastic. I wish hitting enemies will carry more impact though
Animations there are incredible, and like camera's approximation when u are afk, but i didn't get why didn't u add a checkpoint func to bonfire? Camera don't work quite well, cuz in jumping's segments u can't see where u need to jump. And i've found few bugs, first - if u kill goblin in a air, then his sprite will go out of bounds, second - once when i've been killing a goblin his sound were playing several times simultaneously. Gud luck!
