Sir Fishbottom and Also Head's TIME MOB by TyrusPeace 2020-10-07T01:31:46Z
Gameplay is really solid, it can get crazy when there's a lot of them. That's part of the fun though! Also the little VO lines are amazing! Awesome work :)

This makes me so happy! Initially I thought the controls were clunky but I take it back. Once you get into the flow of dude wrangling they feel like an extension of my body. Absolutely in love ya'll are the best thanks for this.
This is amazing, well done. I'm just leaving it on in the background to jam to these tunes. Really nice touches with the bouncing animations on the UI and intelligent and simple lobby screen for joining up. Just pressing your any one key to use for input to join up is really smart. Just well done all around -- major props. ...no but for real I'm leaving this on in the background to rock to the music.
Haha perfection. I love it!
Really well done! I played v2. A really good balance of mechanics with great animations and the sfx of slurping up souls is next level amazing lolol! I kept fumbling on the keys, this would be amazing to play with a controller. I had fun playing, great job.
Great execution on a smart design. You also picked a smart art style for the time constraints of a game jam and followed through on it from start to finish. Well done on all fronts. Also you hit the stuck in a loop theme in so many ways haha. I agree with some of the other comments I saw here about the controls, I kept messing up using B or Y -- It may be as simple as some call outs on the HUD. Awesome work!
This is fantastic. I would love to play a longer more expanded story done in this style. Really really well done, I sometimes get so caught up in mechanics and features when making a game. This is a fantastic reminder that just telling a story in a well executed manner is work enough and you executed on it very well in all aspects.
That was awesome! I loved the style you nailed it. The chromatic aberration was a really nice visual touch. It wasn't just the visuals, everything was really cohesive. The sound effects and the weight and feel of the actions were spot on. You masterfully balanced the razors edge of difficulty vs frustration. The levels were fun and scaled up there difficulty at a good pace. My only complaint is that I always had to spin forever on the gears that unlocked the doors to figure out which way to spin them. Well done. That last level almost had me quit, it was awesome when I made it down that spike tunnel and finally succeeded though.
@tylerkealy haha and there's a donut up there with you too! Well done I've never been able to make it up there  Thanks for sharing the shots. I hope you had fun!
@cjgladback I'm happy to hear you had fun! Haha yeah it turns out attaching a cart to the front of a character that continuously jams it into the islands colliders can cause that to happen sometimes  I've worked on it since the jam and hopefully fixed that issue *fingers crossed*. We haven't uploaded our post-jam build beyond a couple fixes yet though. Thanks for playing! It's really fun to see people enjoying the game.
I really liked this. It had a lot interesting things going on with it. Well done.
Really well done! Great art and fun puzzles to figure out. Good execution on everything and very well polished for a game jam. High five!
That robot is everything to me! So good! Well done art style and fun "game loop" - Great stuff!!
It was a really nice touch to have the intro with voice over that gave a narrative reason for everything. It would be nice if the initial attack wasn't clicking but maybe a weaker shorter punch and then you get the super punch. Nice job though! You made a game you can play start to finish! I didn't get to a proper ending in mine.
So good! It's a well executed and fun idea. Maybe tone down the sensitivity of the mouse input, other than that this was great.
Nice job, I had fun getting to the end. I climbed the tree and survived the fire. I don't know how my other fellow llamas faired though. Good job on the different platforming sections, you did a good job having them scale in difficulty and keeping them fresh without repeating many of the same tricks.
Fun idea, it was fun exploring and figuring out things that can be done. A bit obtuse figuring out how to treat every patient but I really like where this was going. Great work on it! Also I dig the art style a lot
Awesome work! I had a lot of fun. I love the feeling of everything and the Title screen is great! I just wanted two entrances to the garage lol
Really good vibe! A little more logic around things like coin placement and the patterns things crumble in could really polish things out and make it super fun as you get into the "flow" of things while heading towards the garage. Great work! Things look great too btw
Wow well done!! This is super impressive. All around great work, I hope you continue with this concept even further! This could be a great mobile game
I love the character animations and in general the map design was really good. It crashed for me for some weird reason when I went to crawl under the rubble on the second floor. Awesome work on everything!
This is really cool! Great job on the art and smart choice on a game mechanics. Once I got a hang of the controls it made for a really fun and unique experience. It would be nice to have some small heads up or something on the obstacles coming up just because they can be a bit hard to see visually until too late. Super well done!
Nice, I got pretty into exploring around and figuring out what was going on. I drank lots of beers and almost killed the king lol - I'm not positive if that was the thing I was supposed to do. Well done, I had fun :)
Thanks everyone for taking the time to play our game and leave feedback! Pooky appreciates the love. I look forward to playing other teams submissions tonight :)
@jepjoh2 @tory Some classic drop shadows below the possessed objects would be a great idea. It would definitely help orientate in the isometric space. Great idea!
@seskon Unity's physics stuff is tricky and then to top it off the web build didn't play the same as it did in the editor  lol that was fun to find out at the last minute
@simex Haha yeah initially the lack of a ground check on the jump wasn't intentional but as physics stuff got wonky we thought it might be a good idea to leave it. It could probably get worked into some kind of more polished game mechanic
@afraidofdark Totally agree that the first level is a bit too hard with those objects. I could probably be nice and put some invisible walls up too lol.
@mouf @devundead Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I'm glad you liked it
@lucasvb Thanks for your taking the time to write a really thoughtful review! I think your summary basically sums up our post-mortem lol. We thought initially we would avoid dealing with annoying physics issues by embracing the wonkiness like Everything but as the pieces came together making interesting levels that embraced the chaotic was difficult to design. Like you said with more time I'm sure we could have gotten there. I'm very happy with what we came out with in the end considering the time constraints. @figaro did a great job with the level designs! I delivered him a lot of the map components pretty last minute :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I really liked the death / respawn mechanic great idea! Shooting was satisfying and I liked the visual design. Awesome work!
This is really clever! It's a lot of fun, doing small movements to get angled shots in is a ton of fun. Sometimes getting stuck with no guns facing the direction you want can be a bit frustrating. Maybe just letting the player have a bit more ability to avoid with a jump would help a lot. They would still get overwhelmed by multiple attackers even with a jump, but it would let them get out of simple hairy situations early on... just a thought!
Really awesome work!
Haha that character and the controls are really fun as you get a hang of it.
Well done! I loved the vibes! The puzzle was fun to solve. You had some clever and funny dialogue when chatting with the red pandas and balanced having to discover things and not crossing into frustration. I loved seeing the new islands come in, made me happy every time!
Really fun! A strong game loop to get you into things initially and simple fun attacks. Music and art are really nice too, I love the humans and the main character!
