i can't get over how cute the little robot is, and the gameplay/music/graphics all fit together super nicely :D great work

Pretty appealing lil game. Positively adorable. The core gameplay doesn't have much going on for it, though. Just trial-and-error with nothing engaging between errors. Can pick up the speed boosts but a few obstacles before the end of a segment could help. Also asteroids can block the correct exit and that feels really bad, having to east a hit. And when you do the smoke particles from damage heavily obscure your view towards the top side of the screen, which taken together with the necessary hit(s) just feels unfair.

Literally LOL'ed a few times while playing this game, and not just because I'm bad at it. Really enjoyed the memory game aspect of it, just had a rough time when the smoke started billowing out of my spaceship (given, when it happened it made me laugh pretty hard, as it was very unexpected).

Audio, along with the voices, were spot on. If only I could afford the paid version to adjust the volume level as I had to turn down my speakers when playing.

Great experience and fantastic submission! Well done team.

Love the art style. Everything looks and sounds great.

I didn't get the point of the blue circles with the yellow arrows. I thought they were pointing the way. Is there some sort of tip to be found with these.

If there was I just must have missed it. Otherwise the main mechanics appear to be just process of elemination and memorization.

That robot is everything to me! So good! Well done art style and fun "game loop" - Great stuff!!

Very interesting Idea for the theme :D Loved the little robot guy. Nice visuals and the audio sounded good too. Great job!

Thanks for the comments, you've all got M4LL0 blushing! @johnsensei For your specific question: those are speed boosts! But the fact that you weren't sure means maybe that could have been clearer or better implemented. Adding tips may have been a nice touch, for now it's just basic memory while trying not to get too distracted by other things. Thanks for the feedback.

I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection

I wish it was longer! Could've been really fun to remember a really long pattern. Also, I think there wasn't any learning, just trial and error. You could've made a sort of galactical "Simon says". It still was a cute game, good job!

the sound is pretty well done. the gameplay is a little bare bones, but it has potential.

also cute bot!

etrealjunior 2020-10-10 04:11

Hi all right, I came to make some observations, 1 - the robot is very charismatic, 2- the music and the change between them is very good, a suggestion I would give is to make it clearer or through a tutorial at the beginning of the game, or some arts of explanation, because a game has to be as easy as possible for the player to understand, for him to have the opportunity to enjoy his game, the challenge has to be the game and not his understanding, other than congratulations again for the the whole class, a big hug.

I really enjoyed playing this game. The trial and error type of gameplay to unlock more segments of the music got me invested in the game. well done (the sound the robot made with every text box was scary tho, lol) nice job with the shaders, too.

Awesome little game, it looks good, sounds great, and is overall a good submission! I wasn't able to find any indicators for which portal was the right one, were there any hints or is it just trial and error?

Well done on completing a game for the jam!

plutonium-powered 2020-10-16 01:42

@raphiell Thank you for your feedback. It is just trial and error. So, it becomes a memory game.

mary 2020-10-16 08:33

cute bot! interesting Idea for the theme, and sound - good!

empty-set 2020-10-17 08:16

The visuals and audio are good, but there's really not much to the gameplay. Guess-and-check pick-a-path isn't the most engaging idea, and here it's the main mechanic - it feels a bit undercooked when compared the the graphics and sound which are nice and polished.

tweedle 2020-10-19 03:35

enjoyed the design lots, nice work! bonus points for voice acting πŸš€

vininski 2020-10-20 01:52

It looks and feels well made but I found the gameplay quite frustrating, I think perhaps it could do with much fewer wormholes to choose from in the beginning and then add more later.

balance686 2020-10-20 23:30

Excellent visuals! Has a bit of a Starfox feel. I thought the smoke particles looked particularly great. The audio was nice as well. The gameplay really boils down to guesswork with a touch of memorization and I feel like you could take what you have here and expand it into something wonderful. Nice submission!

maor 2020-10-24 07:59

Loved your cool graphic and sound effect, BGM. Super cool game. Great Job!!

amusingfrog 2020-10-24 09:19

Thanks very much for the positive feedback and criticisms, and thanks for playing!

angiekatneko 2020-10-27 04:34

Not gonna lie, the little robot stole the show, it’s so cute 😭 Gameplay was ok, but the character design is on point πŸ’– I like the aesthetic you were going for, keep it up!
