The creativity is great, and the atmosphere you want to express is ok, but if you want to get a high level of gameplay after making the basic form, you still need a more complete system. If it is a game similar to placing and trading with a complete system, I think I will be happy to play it.

Original game. Reminds me a bit of oregon trail. I do wish the time between visits with shops was a bit shorter. Those darn bandits always want milk or bitcoin!

I'm confused, I wait, shop opens, I buy anything, then either I get another shop but the stuff I bought is worse nothing or bandit comes, ask for milk which I don't have, or 140k+ gold, I tell them I can't pay and they take my items away ? I don't understand what I'm supposed to do.

I sadly couldn't get skyroom. I wasn't sure what I was doing tbh. I lied about milk and got stabbed. So I tried again and then got stabbed again because I had very little milk xD The music and overall style I liked! Great addition to the jam. Good job!

@masaru Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it, the bandits are very impolite people. But it's good that they drink milk :smile_cat:

The concept is sure unique! I can't say I've ever played a game where I buy 64 socks, only to sell them for 1000 bitcoin each to the next shop, all in order to survive bandit attacks by giving them... milk? This game excels in its weirdness. From the ridiculous prices of the bandits, to buying 10 copies of "Skyroom" or "Landem" in the middle of the desert. But it was also quite fun getting ridiculously rich from selling something you bought for a tiny sum just before. I do think that the time between shops could have been decreased, and I felt like the game was missing an end goal (except for getting rich and stocking up on massive amounts of milk, of course :smile:). Well done!

I've wandered around the desert for a few hours, I bought Skyroom for my cows to play, I wandered some more, then I bought some cheap love to sell to some poor soul. It was fun! At least until the bandits chopped my head off to see what's inside.

As others mentioned before - if you continue working on it, it could probably use some sort of time warp or "wait until the next encounter" button. Other than that, there's a lot of room to expand on this idea and make it into something like Oregon Trail, only with more desert Bitcoin. 😁

No matter what I try, I get the bandits on the second encounter and not enough milk or money... The concept is interesting but didn't click for me, however, I like the graphics and the atmosphere

I never got enough milk or coin to pay the bandits. Has a nice weird vibe to the stuff you can buy/sell but the my chances of making money seem down to luck not what I did.

The name is funny indeed.

Unfortunately the game feels the wrathful hand of rngesus. The prices of extortion are rather extortionate. A bit of scaling and a bit less of the insta death would be nice.

Basically more agency for the player. Rolling dice and looking at funny products can only get you so far.

Yes, a lot depends on RNGesus. Bandit encounters, bandit decisions and prices depend on him. I really like random selection, but I hate it too! =)
