Really fun game. I enjoyed it. The controls were simple and yet played into the challenge of the game with the aiming. The skill ramped up appropriately and the upgrades made sense. I only wished I had been able to shoot through the barricades or over the generator. Reminded me a little of Yet another zombie defense game. None the less I enjoy those types of games. Very fun. good job with everything.
Could you upload the game as a zip file?
I enjoyed playing your game. It has a nice increasing difficulty and a good sound. Personally I think, that the speed is too slow of the player.

Ahhh these types of games are always fun! I enjoyed the overall mood of the game and I really liked that you encouraged the player to buy damage cause I would have just stacked run speed if the game did not tell me to finally purchase some damage hahaha. I got a little bit frustrated with not being able to shoot through the object in the middle. I think buying the additional walls is not that great of an option because the inevitable flood of zombies would eventually break in and destroy the generator in an instant. I did not get around to purchasing the turrets on my first attempt but still made it quite far! Good job man, it's good fun!

This was an interesting game. It really didn't take that long to figure out, but I got to say that it got fairly boring after five games. Most of the upgrades didn't really make sense. I couldn't see any benefit upgrading the attack damage when I could just spam shoot button seemingly as fast as possible. I really enjoyed the wall building mechanic and I found shooting the wave of zombies that breached the wall really statisfying. I really also enjoyed the graphical style of the game, although the generator hitboxes were a bit confusing at times. Overall, really solid work. This is definetely a game that can be played every once in a while for a few minutes.

It's very fun and it fits the theme. Good job!
Very fun to play, and impressively deep. My biggest criticisms are that the background is very busy making it hard to tell what's solid from what's not, and it's frustrating being really slow and not being able to shoot through things, so positioning is difficult. I will say that you succeeded in making a game that I would want to play, so congratulations on that.

I loved playing the game. Even though I felt like it was really impossible until you reach a certain amount of speed. Would have liked it if I could shoot over the generator, but really cool game!

Fun to play! i couldnt place a new wall when zombies break it but turrets handle them quite well :)
It was refreshing to have a jam game have working menus. I know it is not the most important, but I just feel good when a proper menu is implemented. So good job. The game UI is not scaling properly for every monitor, for me, the left and right side of the UI cuts off. It is not a game breaker, just looked a little off. And I think I have a bug where I couldn't build a barricade even though I had the money. Otherwise, good job.
@j-c-one-bit-studio Yes, found out that there is some bugs with certain scaling issues. Glad you liked it!
This game is truly a blast to play! I only got 60000 points though. The graphics are fairly good but it can be hard to tell what you can walk through and what you can't like the light in the middle of the camp.

Seconding what @j-c-one-bit-studio said above - there seems to be some pretty serious scaling issues, I have a 1366x768 monitor and I couldn't see any of the UI whatsoever, which made the game pretty difficult to play/enjoy.
Aside from that the gameplay itself is pretty solid. Biggest weakness is probably the graphics - not that they were bad (in fact I really liked the style). Rather, they tend to negatively impact gameplay - there's no feedback to tell me that I hit an enemy, and the ground near the generator is so busy that it's hard to tell what's solid and what's not.
@epicular thanks for the feedback! Think I found the scaling problem so I'll know what to do in the future.
Solid zombie survival.
I can tell that you must've tested this a lot because all of the economics seem very balanced. I like how the turret cost is scaled up based on the amount of turrets you have. That is usually the problem in games like these, allowing the player to flood the map with turrets removes the need for the player to do anything. Very well balanced, the art and music/SFX are good too! Solid entry!

Good work, the zombie defense style is an exciting one and I liked the sounds. I tried a bunch of different strategies and the general feel of defending your base from invasion had me invested in doing well. The balance was tuned well where the upgrades were attainable but definitely costly. I played a few times but haven't been able to get close to the 177k you've listed as your best score. My best thus far is 24k and I'm not sure how you and other people are getting all 6 turrets and such - once I get one turret and two speed upgrades the zombie wave seems to overwhelm how quickly I can cycle around the generator.
To improve, my main issue was my character and the bullets getting stuck on the generator, as well as the buyable walls really just being a way to unleash a flood of zombies on yourself. I agree that the player shouldn't be able to just sit in the middle and spray down all enemies on the map but the player and bullets getting stuck was frustrating especially when enemies were swarming the generator.
Overall an exciting game.
I enjoyed this entry and thought it fit the theme very well. Very solid and nice balanced!
Had a great time playing this game! The generator in the middle and the walls were blocking movement and shots too much in my opinion.

Solid game! The shooting felt good, with large bullets and satisfying sound effects. The graphics, while simple, worked well - I liked the lighting, from the bullets and enemies. I think the upgrade system could do with a few changes - I think it's a lot funner when you get to buy a lot of upgrades and make a lot of choices, even if those upgrades were small. In this game, I didn't have that much money and the upgrades were expensive, meaning I didn't get to spend a lot. I never had to make the fun choice between a small, cheap upgrade that might make me survive the next round easier, or to save up, hope I make it through the next wave and buy a bigger upgrade later. The game even told me to upgrade my damage at one point, which was all I felt like I had been doing! Movement could have been polished a little too, it was easy to get stuck on things. Good job overall though, a solid Jam game!
Nice game! I was surprised to find that the difficulty lies in positioning yourself correctly, it made for interesting gameplay. Upgrades were a bit too expensive, though.
