LD55 — Summoning

Who's My Boo? by Matt Fabius 2024-04-16T05:10:39Z

Very clever. The tombstone messages were different enough from the dialogue I genuinely missed the right match on one of the people lol. I would have liked a red herring tombstone that fit most of the matches. Pretty cool overall!

Blood From a Tome by GuitarBro 2024-04-18T03:53:03Z

Love card games - this was an in depth execution for a cool idea! Wonder what this could have been given more time.

Haunting Harmony by CursedEmbassy 2024-04-19T05:04:29Z

gotta spray those cats let's goooo

Bug Life by Human 2024-04-16T05:34:36Z

Pretty sweet bug shooter. The swarm was very satisfying to use and straight deleted the waves lol. Now it just needs DOOM music. :)

Bullet Storm Extrema by LanceJZ 2024-04-18T04:16:58Z

Ha! Felt like I was playing Galaga at the arcade. Cool game and nicely done. :)

Elemental Path by Luc-creationallabs 2024-04-16T05:26:58Z

Pretty sweet puzzle mechanic! Not really in line with the theme but a fun game nonetheless

Sigil by Wuppos 2024-04-18T04:23:49Z

This is super cool! I like the Sudoku inspirations a lot. Well done. :D Would like to see more depth to the puzzles, but they were well done as-is.

Witches Brew by delauraen 2024-04-16T05:04:37Z

I really enjoyed reading all of the dialogue you wrote -- witty and entertaining. :D Main thing I wish it had was more depth of gameplay to add to the great vibe you created.

GATEWATCH by Vegeo 2024-04-16T04:51:31Z

Super cool game man. I loved Papers Please and this was a fantasy spin on the genre. I somehow ended up with mostly clerics that won like every combat which was cool lol!

The Checkout by Mizuto 2024-04-16T05:19:33Z

Definitely the strongest part of your game was the art and text style. Really appreciated the runic writing and the cashier just cruising through using that randomly in sentences lol.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

TinySim by JPatrick 2024-10-21T05:08:24Z

Nice! I really like simulation style games and your presentation of the genre is unique and interesting. Given more time, what kinds of interactive gameplay would you add?

Cheddar Chaser by magus77 2024-10-17T04:22:47Z

One of the most enjoyable games I've seen in a game jam format! Well done. I think the number of cats was a bit too large, and they struggled to keep up. That said, this was really fun to play and I like the humor!

Minature Myth Merchant by Profugo Barbatus 2024-10-21T05:01:01Z

Loved the art style and attention to detail on keeping the tone light. Well done on the feel of the game. As expected, the features are a really cool concept and you've got an interesting angle on the genre here. Would love to see where this goes given more time!

King of the Hill by john-wuller 2024-10-17T02:17:39Z

Pretty cool game concept! I liked how fast the units moved, it felt fluid. The camera angle was a bit strange to me, but I figured it out after some tinkering.

Alice's Tiny Adventure by Weird Orb 2024-10-17T04:32:14Z

Interesting game in the wandering genre! Very well done especially for a solo project.

LD57 — Depths

Carpathian Goodbye by FireSlash 2025-04-11T04:51:25Z

This was a really cool take on the theme for the jam. I liked the dialog added in the visual novel style, it added a nice touch to a visually stunning game!

Down by Skyeward 2025-04-12T21:02:19Z

This was really interesting! Reminds me of a choose your own adventure style book from years back. Nicely done. I'd be curious to see what else you can do with the combat system to be more interactable. Overall, this was really fun to experience.

BeltCo Mining Inc. by smilewood 2025-04-11T04:45:20Z

Other than the balancing issue others have mentioned, I was very impressed with the stylistic choices of the movement and the art especially for a compo. Mining asteroids was very satisfying, although I wondered a few times if I was better off spinning in a circle between asteroids to save fuel. Really interesting take on the theme, well done!

Marianas Miner by Coda Highland 2025-04-11T04:39:11Z

Excellent work! I really enjoyed plowing through the dirt as fast as that goes. Shooting the harpoon into a line of enemies is super satisfying. Honestly, all that's missing is an 8-bit soundtrack and you have yourself a proper game reminiscent of the flash game glory days. Nice.

Voidrunner by BinarySpark 2025-04-13T16:14:14Z

This is one of those gems of a game from Ludum Dare that really just makes you feel hope for the gaming industry. The fact you all accomplished this in 3 days is astoundingly cool. Well done!

Mind the Depth by Flightless 2025-04-19T19:28:25Z

This was a really cool atmospheric game. I appreciated the music and feel of the experience that you created. I did hope for a little more gameplay mechanics or direction as others have said. Nicely done!

The Depths by Lexxio 2025-04-11T04:41:06Z

I really liked the movement of the environment. It fit in very nicely with the player movement concept and the platformer gameplay. I was a bit lost as to what my goal was a few times, but this is a huge vibe of a game!

Goblin Quest by rickylee 2025-04-19T19:38:46Z

Super nice job all around. This game feels inspired by For the King and Peglin in all the right ways. I think the availability of shops was a bit sparse but overall this was really fun to do a few runs in!

The Depths of Magic by benjamm 2025-04-11T04:43:17Z

I had a lot of fun playing this. The animations of the enemies were very fun to see and the wave mechanics with the doors were not what I was initially expecting. Neat concept, would love to see where else you take this!

D.E.P.T.H. - Door Evaluation Protocols & Testing Hub by Sylf 2025-04-11T18:51:04Z

This was a really fun slapstick humor game! While it didn't adhere to the theme of the jam, I was impressed by the innovative mechanics you put together. My one major annoyance was that the three dropdowns on the test report screen felt a bit clunky to me. A single dropdown with all the options would have felt more intuitive to me. Nice work!

Nowhere to Dive by Anifan gelati 2025-04-19T19:19:34Z

This was a really cool take on the theme! I won't harp on the balancing as others have noted. Nice work getting the feel of a dark atmosphere and gritty gameplay. This has the potential to be a really neat roguelike deckbuilder!
