Lovely flute tunes :) I really liked the pixel art design of the cheshire cat!

I had to resort to my a-maze-ing navigation skills of hugging the left wall to not get lost! Took me longer than I'd like to admit to find the end :P

I liked it! A good first entry into the fun world of LD game jams! I look forward to seeing how you progress in the future!

Since you're new, I should mention (in case you weren't aware) that rating other entries gets you more visibility, but that goes double for comments on people's pages! If people heart your comments, you will get much more "karma" than just rating :) This isn't made very clear on the website. Good luck in your pursuit to 20 ratings!

I like the cute little Alice~ While the map design needs more improvement, with more challenging and less just-walking road. Shrink potion is really a good idea! I think the current game view size is a little too small to the full-size Alice but suitable to the shrink Alice. If the game can have a change of view to different size Alices, it will be better~ Overall, good job! (BTW, I also have a jam work. If you can have a try and leave some suggestions, we will be very grateful! THX! )

The game has a very good quality of musical accompaniment and a couple of small sounds that are there, but I didn't really like the visual, I remind you of the mini-games from fnaf and it seemed to me very crutchy to use enemies that move slightly to the left and right walking sideways, it's a little strange, but otherwise the lvl design is well done, it was obvious to me where to go and it's nice that the game hints at this in details noticeable around.

Interesting game in the wandering genre! Very well done especially for a solo project.

ok.. I almost almost almost gave up.. actually.. i did after i got caught the second time... but!

I read the comments and realized there's music! I had muted my browser somehow, fixed that and... i tried it again and that music actually carried me all the way through to the end!

Nice job on the mood, graphics and music!

Simple concept sure. But you as a dev have something going for you if you can create a nice mood to keep the player playing ^^

Gj!

Simple complete game, played it through.

Cute pixelart but a little bit lazy for having many different pixel sizes.

I liked that shrink potion that not only gets you to go through tight space, but also helps you go more easily undetected.

As someone else has already said, I hoped too that you could see further away. I felt getting ambushed by single enemy when they enter so fast to view. Enemies could also make a slower turn around at the end of their track so player can react to them changing directions.

Music was beautiful and I loved the change of music when you get to the small section.

Good job for a first ludum game! 😊

Woe is on me! But with some stubbornness it is possible to win. A bit thin on the content side, but a few minutes of maze-crawling is never wrong. The music matches the style well, and I liked the change in music when I took the potion.

Apparently really complex and interesting concept.

It took me a while to realise that I was supposed to avoid the beam and it took a while to feel like I was getting somewhere; something else to collect or some direction might have helped. But I really liked the concept and the maze was fun to explore once I had an idea of where the potion was.

At one point when the guard turned around an I was behind him he somehow got carried with me when I moved then got stuck against a wall trying to go in the same direction. Is that the intentional behaviour?

@oliver-day Thanks for the feedback! > At one point when the guard turned around an I was behind him he somehow got carried with me when I moved then got stuck against a wall trying to go in the same direction. Is that the intentional behaviour?

Not intentional, nope - definitely something we'd love to have polished up with a bit more time :)

Your interpretation of the theme was original (unlike most entries), and you used music in a creative way — I like that. The graphics are a bit inconsistent, but Alice and the cat are cute. The gameplay isn't amazing, but it's okay for a jam game. Overall, good job and congratulations!

Nice escape game. I think everything here is tiny but Alice could be tinier.

Super cute! Alice in Wonderland is a unique take on the theme, and even though walking is the only gameplay mechanic, I had a lot of fun. It's an adorable world to explore! And using shrinking as a gameplay element works really well. Well done!
