Pretty nice game with some great potentia. I loved the little tutorial, but please make the player's pickup hit box 2 high, other than that an over all good game.
Solid game buthe horizontal speed was a bit much and since the wasd keys where used for there things too I would to see the arrow keys be utilized for movement/boost instead.
@quinn-patrick Thanks for the feed and yes I am aware of the games many, many issues but to solve many of those a major refactor would be needed which I didn't have the time for. (For example the current time to mine anything is 5s, 3s with the first upgrade, 1s with the final so I don't know how I would make it faster without changing the whole mechanic.) I am terribly sorry about the lack of a win screen that must have bin frustrating but I hope the cave with all the ore somewhat made up for it, but initially I didn't want the game to end there and it din't cross my mind afterwards. Again thanks for the feedback! P.S. The helmet was needed to go to the second floor.
@devparty Thanks I may consider it!
@maximilian-ansell Thanks for the feedback and sorry about the slowness.
@angrysandwich Thanks I appreciate it a lot, I am not 100% on what caused the CPU issue but I did have some issues regarding the unity default default shaders on older CPUs.
@notpjriavs Thanks for the feedback, yes mining is an issue but I don't think I could have done it any other way without effecting the progression. As for everything being far apart I am sorry it would probably be better but it didn't cross my mind. As for the player being awkwardly positioned that may differ from screen to screen, but I don't think having him move to the mouse would be better.
@deepak-kr Thanks for the comment, did you find the cave and night time annoyingly dark even with the flashlight? Mining is a problem I don't think I can solve and sorry about the Sfx volume and they needed more work in general but I didn't have enough time.
Solid game and it creates an amazing immersive environment, I would like to see the player rewarded in a non cosmetic way though, other then that it's a great game and with some modifications it could work as a puzzle game too
Nice game but it gets stack in the "Collect your reward" screen if there is nothing to collect, also the rocks that need to be tapped twice need to be highlighted.
Really fun game simple and fun would love to see more levels
Good game could it has an "arcade" feeling to it easily see my self playing it for hours! A better control scheme or a tutorial level would be great thought.
Nice game but I feel like you lose points way to quickly and that you shouldn't lose any until the very first move in a level so you have time to study it, also changing the color of tile bellow the goblin if it's about to be of it would great visual feedback to help you react quicker
Well, well, well, pretty nice game, this could really go somewhere.
It has a few game breaking bugs but nothing you couldn't work around for example "ESC" kill the game and it doesn't work on small screens. Also at least on my (old and low end) there seemed to be quite a bit of lag but that could just be me.
As for the game the UX definitely needs a bit of work using "ESC" to close windows and being able to place multiple buildings and move them would be nice. As for the UI a way to see how much resources my "town" is using would go a really long way as well as making the locked buildings a bit more obvious, I would also like to see a reason to not always be at 4x speed because right now there doesn't seem to be one as well as some other restrictions because the game ends pretty quick. Giving the streets a function would also be nice.
Everyone is commenting on the music but I think that the graphics are the best part (not that the music isn't amazing). On the topic of sound, the fact that there is no sound when a building is placed (and other SFX) is pretty obvious.
On an other note thank you for giving us the ability to skip the tutorial and continue playing after the game ended, I cannot tell you how much I appreciated those.
Also could you really not think of something better than "Well, that’s deep"
I know that the above seams like a lot of criticism but I loved the game and it's a job well done, the only reason I go to so much detail and "nitpick" is because I would like to see a full game and I think that the feedback may be useful.
Pretty good game a bit of a "bullet hell" game at certain points, I would love to see more enemy types though
Nice game I really loved the graphics (minus the background sorry). You should consider making a bit clearer what is a collectible and what should be dodged because it wasn't that clear, something like a light or not being able to shoot them, also maybe less of them? An other thing is that the controls felt a bit "choppy" with sudden fast acceleration at times. Other than those the game is great especially for a first jam entry. Oh and you have one really annoying red pixel on the bottom left of the spaceship....
Nice game I would love to see a meter of how much there is left and how the object collision mechanic to be utilized a bit more I didn't have to upgrade it at all
