Nice and cute TD game! Coherent art-style, and nice use of enemies - I liked that the metal skull (🤘) had plated armor, nice touch! :D

The use of theme here isn't super clear though, although I am summoning towers for defense I guess!

Thanks for making this - and I appreciate the WebGL version, makes it easier to play on my mac!

Nice game! Beat all the levels, though the last two I had to play twice. I think they were balanced well, especially once you get Wind. I like the trade off between collecting money or placing another tower down; though I with I could pick up the money by clicking a dragging to make it slightly faster.

@jacobingalls Yass!!! I'm glad that you're on Team Wind! I like Wind with Ice mixed in. The clicking and dragging could definitely help with reducing the click-storm that one must engage in to get all the mana. We're thinking that maybe more rewarding mana could also be dropped, but less frequently. Like same pay off with less clicking. Many thanks for playing!

The toughest criticism I could give would be the game description itself. It's a summoning dower defense game with an extra player interaction element! At least, that's how I would describe it. :) IMO this would draw more tower defense enjoyers to review the game. The win state would be better with an extra button so players don't accidentally close it (like I did, a few times... lol).

This has been my favorite tower/strategy jam game for ludumdare 55 without question!

This game is definitely worth playing all levels and replaying to victory while seeing how your summoned towers/slimes fare in the battles that happen.

I loved the music and sound while figuring out how it plays out.

Seriously great work on the visuals, balance, and gameplay.

This was way more fun than I expected! The music and graphics are great, though clicking to grab money does get a tiny bit annoying when done repeatedly and frequently. Overall enjoyed it heaps though!

Really nice little tower defense game that reminds me of old flash games in the best way! The visuals are pretty, especially the enemy skulls they look amazing. Music is great too, would love a little "clang" sound when hitting one of the metal skulls. My only (two) gripe(s) with the game is that I have to click every little money bag individually, I believe a simple fix would be to just make the bags collect in a tiny area around the cursor when you hover near them, and the other is that the towers are not ordered in the buy menu by their price!. . . Although that second one isn't much more than a personal nitpick.

This was a fun game, liked the art as well. Would've liked some more variety in the enemies, but it's a jam after all. Liked the variety of difficulties in the levels, initially thought it a little too easy, but then lost a couple times on some of the other levels. Overall, great entry. Well done!

Nice one! I appreciate the different maps, though I feel the game could have done with a couple more enemies - with respect for the LD time restraints! The costs were a bit unclear; I didn't see instantly that collecting a coin bag only partially filled a coin bag icon in your status bar. Maybe having small enemies drop one coin and biggo's 5 or 10, with the turrets costing 15, 25, or 50 coin would be a little clearer.

Cool game! As others already pointed out, the money system was a bit confusing at first. I would love to see more enemies and better balancing. The two levels I played got very easy after the second tower was in place.

Very enjoyable! The only feedback I'd give is that early game currency acquisition seems really slow relative to the initial wave of monsters. Also, I wasn't really a fan of clicking the money bags, but it was fun.

The music is really nice and varied - very nicely done. I also enjoyed the gameplay itself, although I think the difficulty curve is a bit off - it started quite tricky with nothing you could really do, then got very easy as the level went on (I never had any need to use all of my currency). I played all the levels, I think the last 2 levels got the difficulty more spot-on (since you start with things), but then the level ended just as things were starting to challenge my defences.

Game is pretty though, and the variety of towers is quite nice - good job!

It's neat to see another tower defense game,

the pixelart is cute and it looks nice! it would have been cool if the levels had more varied themes like a different environment for each level

Gameplay is pretty solid here liked the 2 last levels the most and I thought all of them were pretty well designed. I wish collecting the bags was made automatically by hovering over them, it made things a bit difficult to manage things while also having o click on the bags to pick them up at the same time.

Cool tower defence game. I liked the sound and look of it - simple, but effective. Collecting money from killed enemies was a bit inconvenient. I don't really know why you didn't just go with auto-collecting, but at least getting them by hovering the mouse over money bags would feel much better for the player. Some kind of a timer at the beginning of the stage to place your first tower could also be useful.

The tower's targeting should be changed for them to always shoot at the first enemy. It's really frustrating when the tower just doesn't attack the first enemy who is about to escape and damage your base :/

it's a cool tower defense with the good feeling of overpowering when you have managed to place your defenses well. The pixel art is very charming and gives the whole game a warm and very friendly feel. Good game.

Really enjoyed playing this. It wasn't too stressful and the mechanics were nice and intuitive. Felt satisfying to scale out of control to the point where enemies couldn't really get past you. Also really loved all the music nice work on that!

Congrats on a nice, complete tower defense game! In the beginning I took a lot of hits but after that I started winning, and in the end my defenses easily kept the enemies at bay. The game is rather short, what about just having more waves of enemies with more hit points?

Level selection over level progression? It's kinda puzzling. Your game's got potential though. Graphics, audio, and theme are decent, but maybe try mixing up the progression for a more engaging ride.

Fun and intuitive gameplay! Lovely pixel art.

I liked the idea of not auto-collecting the money, but maybe it could be better if hovering mouse would collect them. I'd love to see a wider variety with more challenging enemies and a UI element that shows progress.
