Good idea,I like the theme.You have carefully designed your game.But I dont know what should i do,can you provide a detailed description of the game?
It took a bit to figure out how the game works, but once I learned what the mechanics were it was a ton of fun! I like how difficult it is and that you have to keep an eye on everything going on in order to meet your soul quota. This was a very impressive jam game, and the art was incredible!
I like the cult aspect of it. Although my humans always died off. ;<

Well done! At first i didnt know what to do but after a while i figured it out.
Here are some suggestions: 1. Show the icon for "Faith" and "Souls" on the Action-Buttons 2. Add a small tooltip on the resources so that i know which icon is which 3. Make the harvester slightly faster than the humans so that he doesnt follow them to cleansing. 4. the harvester killed the whole population. (hes also killing children) There should be a way to make babies :D 5. Keep the Action-Description even if its on cooldown 6. Add an explanation and tips. Its good to know that you can kill havesters in the fire etc. ... 7. Make the End more rewarding

This was a lot of fun! The mechanics are a bit tricky to understand at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. The cult theme is really unique and I'm enjoying the challenge of trying to collect souls. Also, the art super impressive! Well done!

Nice game, i really like the graphics style feels like playing inside a religious painting. Having this balance between humans and followers is a cool concept and i was just struggling keeping enough humans alive. Really liked the game, good job and great teamwork :thumbsup:

Art and environment gives an attack on titan vibe...which is really supercool...overall gameplay is nicely engaging.....good work!!!

I must agree with mr_lazy, the AOT vibes are strong here which is certainly good thing. I personally had no problem understanding mechanics, which still didn't stop me from pop. extinction on my first try :smile: Your approach of theme here is from my point of view original. Fantastic art, concept, execution etc. The only thing might have been some sound effects for the interface. Abilities unlocking and coming off cooldown etc.
The game is a bit hard to understand at first but choosing a location for the cult worked well for me. Gathered everyone in my corner avoiding the blue guys. As everyone says the vibes with audio and visuals is really unique. Some kind of dark medieval occultism. Good job !
I share many thoughts here. Game idea is really nice but mechanics are hard to understand at first attempt. Graphics is a bit static and not much my cup of tea but the game is engaging enough that I tested it until a made a game good enough to say I understood the mechanics. Damn, I can't believe you managed to develop this game with this quality in that time, I'm so super impressed. Very complex game, within the theme, amazing graphics. Im really impressed. Too bad I'm kind of bad at playing lol, so it took me a while to get the hang of it and I'm still struggling to play, but congratulations, next time try compo, you have a lot of chances! Ah, if you have a little time, enter our game and give your evaluation too (just enter my profile quickly, it's the first game I make). I advise you to play the downloaded version, because the Ludum one is not adapting the window correctly!

Looks amazing! Great atmosphere, feels like a stylized version of black and white. Loved it.
- Nice medieval vibes and graphics. - Most of the sprites, textures and animations are very well made (I didn't like the Blazing Fire one, but I understand that it's hard to animate fire in this style. - As of gameplay – I didn't like it very much, maybe because it's too chaotic and not very straightforward. Feels like you obligated to do stuff so it's not a complete pain. I'd prefer more straight controls without cooldown or no controlling at all but with better AI or placing static characters (like tower-defense or smth like that)
Anyway really good entry, good job! Glad to see more Medieval styled games!
This is a masterpiece. The theme of Hieronimus Bosch painting and all this medieval stuff is brilliant. You game is unspeakably beautiful. It's hard to understand at first though, but complex gameplay is a hard thing to create nicely in such small time. And you handled that. Amazing
The art style was great! That combined with the music made a really comfy game, even though the game is about harvesting souls :). It was a pretty hard game, I came close to winning but unfortunately I was slightly off. Great job.

Art wise this is my favorite game by far at the moment! I really love the esthetics and the mood! Ill definitely play a lot more these days trying to suck less at it! And its a big plus that it has simple mechanics that evolve into a complex gameplay! i love it and i think you did an amazing job! I really hope you get to be among top 10 for the amazing art you did! :D.

The systems are, at first, a little cryptic. Not a big deal though as the time it took me to understand the mechanics was nicely bridged by getting lost in the audiovisual allure the game exudes. Really really really great stuff.

The game has a decent level of fun factor, but I believe it could be improved with more thought put into it in the future. The gameplay is innovative and enjoyable for me. The game almost perfectly captures the theme, but it still falls short of what I imagined for this theme. The art in the game is visually pleasing and well done. The atmosphere of the game is enjoyable, and the audio is well done and adds to the overall experience. I really enjoyed playing the game, good job. I am looking forward to the next version, and I hope it will be even better.
Great job on this game, I briefly considered a "Harvest of Souls" game for the jam too and you did a fantastic job implementing it. I really liked the ideas in this game and the various god powers I could use were really cool. It was great that you included breeding, converting, and "harvesting" mechanics, where breeding and "harvesting" have to be balanced. The background music was nice and the graphics were novel and fit the aesthetic of the game well. Overall, great job on this game and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

Love the medieval art style and overall feel of the game! Took me a bit to understand what was going on gameplay-wise, but it helped that the new features were introduced gradually as the game progressed. Great work!
This is an incredible work, though very disturbing one. The quality is top notch, and overall presentation speaks of talent and dedication. Mad props, guys. This is very impressive.
For some reason in the final screen the game told me that I harvested 0 souls, however I survived for 400+ years and harvested a lot. But whatever :)
