Great graphics and controls! very short but enjoyable experience

Very nice!

Nice to see someone else trying to bring back the magic system of Arx Fatalis.

Control hard to grasp for wasd on keyboard. Otherwise nice small prototype. Funny letters!

I'd submit a bug request... but I imagine bugs are part of the experience. I really dig the pixel art 3D artstyle, it's a nice inviting environment for any sort of gameplay. Not sure why magic was involved in picking up bugs, but it was an interesting mechanic. Well done

Super unique concept! Wish it was a bit longer :)

Ran into a lot of collision issues making navigating the room difficult. Sometimes the arcane abilities didnt seem to spawn more than one particle, not sure if it's a mouse capture issue or not.

Nice!

Very nice little game! Was a bit hard in browser, firefox kept nagging about losing-and-gaining control over mouse. Not sure if firefox or unity quirk.

penumbrah 2025-10-08 03:28

The mouse kept leaving the window when I had bugs and was trying to return to the box but its a really cute game and very nice premise! I had fun collecting all the bugs

eugenik 2025-10-08 23:51

Oh man this game looks and sounds awesome!.

acartlidge 2025-10-08 23:58

Neat game! The feeling of picking up the bugs is enjoyable, kinda the same itch that stuff like powerwash simulator scratches, just tidying and returning order to things. I found it hard to figure out what to do initially, but I liked the drawing mechanic. I assume there was some more scope here that didnt make it in, nice work!

infernalwolf08 2025-10-09 03:04

the controls were difficult to get used to, but once I did, I started having a lot of fun. picking up the bugs is really satisfying, and I really like the effort to make a story for it. overall, great job!

parkuhrmd 2025-10-09 09:33

It was hiding under the damn LAMP!

Good job overall! Kudos to the environmental storytelling, that was my favorite part :)

humnyn 2025-10-09 14:48

Cute little game! I like the take on the theme and interesting controls, if a bit hard to control. Had two bugs on the table that refused to be picked up, but maybe I'm not a very good magician :sparkles:

Other than the controls being a bit wonky for me in the browser and the audio being a bit jarring, this was a neat little game! I loved the art and cool magic mechanic.

nanaschi1984 2025-10-10 14:54

Liked the comfort of the room. Never played such games and was confused in the beginning but in overall it was a fun experience.

vidarn 2025-10-10 20:30

The art is great, the little room felt very cosy and I love all the little interactive objects! It was nice just to move around and discover things, like the super cool floating lamps. Also, I find the idea of having arcane abilities that allows you to pick up bugs very funny/

The gameplay was nice, and a very smart way to make inspecting the room into a core component of the game. It was really cool how the spellcasting worked, even if the browser had some issues with it at times.

Overall a charming and cute experience!

I loved the graphics, and I really liked the retro computer. I enjoyed the idea of collecting insects, but the idea of having a wizard father where my uncle congratulates me for helping with the move felt kind of random lol. I started playing, and for the first two insects on the table, I couldn't collect them and had difficulty casting power. When I managed to collect almost all the insects, the last ones on the table glitched, end of the sad story of someone who loved collecting insects. Call me Satoshi xD

Simple little game, really liked the "bug physics"!

gonutz 2025-10-11 05:57

I could not play the unfortunately. When I press E in the browser version, the game seems to lose focus. I guess you do something with the mouse cursor there? So I have to focus the game again at that point. I did manage to pick up a bug, though, but then it seems I have to keep holding down E which does not let me rotate my character anymore, so I cannot drop the bug into the box. So no dice for me here :-)

The graphics look very cool, I like the pixel-art-like models and textures! Looks really cool!

keyjale 2025-10-11 09:53

Cute little game!

frank-gevaerts 2025-10-11 17:06

Maybe more of an interactive experience than a game? Quite fun though

For me (firefox on linux, maybe important) the experience was slightly marred by the mouse pointer being in unpredictable places, leading at one point to totally losing game focus and being unable to get it back so I had to restart.

Overall I did enjoy it!

ludumdaredevil 2025-10-11 18:18

Cool game. However my whenever I stopped pressing E my mouse would lock properly and I would mouse off the game window. Also some of the bugs got stuck in the table and I couldn't collect them.

nassshie 2025-10-11 20:54

cute beatles;)

l6ria 2025-10-12 14:04

Such a cute and atmospheric game — I’d play it forever!

scrapmetal 2025-10-12 16:34

The controls were a bit tricky going from aiming to mouse controls... and the aiming was kind of sensitive, I struggled a bit. Couldn't figure out how to get the bugs in the box.

But the environment and cute art!!!! So good. Loved the overall idea.

helicule 2025-10-13 22:09

Spend a surprising amount of time chaising bugs around, this game is a bit challenging to master but really fun once you adapt to the cursor's sensibility :)

jelch 2025-10-17 04:55

Great look! Felt a little buggy :P

ophiene 2025-10-23 19:29

Amazing work! It’s super interesting and has a vert unique way to paraphrase the theme, good job! And welcome to give our game a try! :)
