Awesome game! Very well done, especially from the art and humor points of view.

Awesome game! Very well done, especially from the art and humor points of view.
Nice game! I completed all 9 levels. Usually I'm not into minimalistic games myself, but as a fellow C++ programmer I totally get the vibe of coding something simplistic without complex engines and such.
As I understood, it's not the entire game, but I couldn't get past the platformer part, because I didn't know what am I supposed to do. Climbed up high, didn't find anything intereting, except blue cubes, which also didn't seem to do anything to me.
Nice little game! I would only say that it doesn't follow the theme much. Well, yeah, you can collect items on your way to the exit, but then, as my friend said, every game where you can collect some sort of scoring items fits the theme.
Great game, fully completed it! Animations are cool! Traps can become quite annoying, though. Joining those who complained about the font. But overall great quality for a jam game.
That's a nice game! Respect for 100% your own assets, that's remarkable.
Cool fun game, graphics style is very pleasant to the eye! Unfortunately, was buggy for me: on the second playthrough I wasn't able to collect assets, i.e. they didn't count after I interacted with them. And weirdly, even game restart didn't help with that. Also you get can stuck surrounded by the bodies of those you slapped, lol =D It seemed as you have to slap poor guys lying on the floor to unstuck yourself =)
EDIT: I read in the comments that there is a grab mechanic, but then I guess it shouldn't be applied by those who have been slapped already =)
Very nice! Takes time to figure out what exactly to do (I didn't get that fast that you need to craft door overrides to progress past power generator), but then it becomes quite captivating. Was able to complete the game after a while. I'd wish some mechanic to prolong your life, like I supposed those O2 tanks are for that, but nope, they turned to be one of those repair parts.
Very interesting approach to graphics! On one hand it feels a bit weird to see plain sprites in 3D, on the other it's colorful and pleasant to the eye, and in general fits this concept quite well, considering the humour. And yeah, the voiceover is golden!
Cute little game!
Hey brothers! We also a made game about collecting mushrooms in a creepy forest =) You can check it out by going through my profile. And I saw another one in 2D dedicated to mushrooms as well. I wonder now, are there any others yet undiscovered? =)
And I must say, I really liked the visual style you achieved! Despite simplicity in details, overall atmosphere is really cool and scary.
The mood is good with those lights and shades and music, but in terms of gameplay this kind of games needs to be more engaging right from start, otherwise it becomes boring quickly just going around in circles and shooting. Unfortunately, I didn't quite feel the upgrades, although later I noticed you can hover them and read the effects. What such games usually do is levelling-up with suggesting a new ability, like choose one of three or something like that, where you have time to pause and read carefully what options you have. At the same time, small passive bonuses like you have are also good. Of course, a variety of enemies is always nice, with tougher enemies appearing during the course of the game, but I understand it's hard to implement all those features in a jam's timeframe.
Very nice game, should definitely receive more ratings! The concept is great and the implementation is great. I'd only wish it ends up by itself after a while, showing you the results, because I wasn't sure whether I should end up my shift myself early or not. I suppose, otherwise it goes endlessly.
That's an awesome game! It's a shame that it didn't get enough ratings so far. I think the above commentor is right, you needed to rate other people games. I'm pretty sure, if this game gets into the resulting list, it should be somewhere in high ups.
It's really hard in the beginning, but as you grasp the idea that you need to become a "ball of death" as soon as possible, it becomes understandable how to win. Thus I managed to survive till the end of timer couple times, however, I still didn't understand the final boss. It seemed like some "pillars of fire" randomly appearing nearby or I don't know what was that, but I didn't get how you kill that. So after dying a couple times, I gave up unfortunately =)
Others above already appreciated that, and I, as a programmer myself, applaud that you decided to make your own physics and succeeded in it in such a short timeframe, that's really impressive! I always wanted to dig into physics myself, never found time to do it, but I'll do at some point.
Also, can you please tell what you used for rendering? I checked the source code, but didn't manage to find anything related to graphics, though I looked too quickly.
This is a masterpiece! Beautiful graphics, humorous and captivating gameplay. I really enjoyed it, completed all 12 orders and added myself to the collection at the end =) Making goblin parts also the ingredients is awesome move. I would only wish potions require several ingerients, that feels like a more classic potion brewing, I'd say, but maybe you wanted to avoid this idea in your case, I don't know. My only complaint is physics, can be a bit glitchy sometimes. I once had goblin stuck on the ceiling =D
The concept is very nice and has potential, but in the current version tasks seem to be missing variety. In the final levels I thought you're supposed to allocate in different regions, but I've still been tasked to allocate in only the first one. Also, I thought you're not supposed to overwrite already allocated memory with resizes, but looks like that wasn't punished.
Ah, I see now, thanks for clarification! Missed those details in my playthrough.
That's very nice concept and it turned out to be quite fun, but damn, controls are not for the faint of heart =) I tried both Xbox controller and keyboard, neither seemed intuitive to me. I would natually expect expect pushing controller stick up to accelerate in the character look direction and then slight left / right movements for steering, basically, like in some racing game maybe. Same with keyboard: W for acceleration, A+D for steering, S for moving backwards. But moving in the "key direction relative to the world" so to speak, yeah, I couldn't get used to it. And such a harsh movement always leads to loosing a lot of goods from your cart =) But then you realize there's a TV section and that's an easy way to win the game =) By the way, from there you can jump out of the store completely using the slope =D
Beautifully drawn graphics! Gameplay, though, is a bit too simplistic, however, an ability to comment / ask question is a nice touch. I fully completed the game and the third area was quite challenging with those complex phrases.
@ryusui yep, we didn't manage to provide interesting gameplay mechanics in the jam's timeframe, although there are still two distinct endings, one of which is a bit easier to find than another. In the end we've got more of a spooky experience than a game. In a bit polished version, which is currently in progress, we intend to make it better understandble in terms of what's going on when you're eating mushrooms and the choices you're facing as a result.
Beatiful game, well done! I bit more animations would be nice, like Lily not simply adding the chair to inventory, rather actually carrying it in her hands, but I totally understand jam time constraints.
Nice game, very interesting idea indeed! Quite deep.
