EASILY THE BEST GAME IN THE JAM. 5 stars all around. PLEASE play this game whoever is reading this review. Insanely well made, have no idea how this doesn't have more traction. Insane.

@fkeyz THANK YOU <3333
It was a pleasure to play it, thank you.
Super creative! LOVED the idea and the art, felt like i didn't even get close to goopmaxxing my goblin. lots of replayability just messin with different combos of things
This was really cool. I love all the art in the game and the whole idea was real fun. Great job!
Love this. Graphics were great and gameplay was fun. Very silly. I could play this all day easy
I FEEL BAD FOR THE GOBLINS. BUT THIS IS PEAK I LOVE IT. MORE PEOPLE GOTTA PLAY THIS
This is a masterpiece! Beautiful graphics, humorous and captivating gameplay. I really enjoyed it, completed all 12 orders and added myself to the collection at the end =) Making goblin parts also the ingredients is awesome move. I would only wish potions require several ingerients, that feels like a more classic potion brewing, I'd say, but maybe you wanted to avoid this idea in your case, I don't know. My only complaint is physics, can be a bit glitchy sometimes. I once had goblin stuck on the ceiling =D
@keyjale Ayy you made it to the end, most people don't haha. Thanks for playing! We initially wanted to do multiple ingredients per potion but we quickly realized that even just 10 ingredients makes like 150 unique potions so we scrapped that lol
This game is pretty cool: I like the fact that a goblin can split into chunks and those are legit ingredients apparently? :D I am not sure how much depth to the brewing there is, as I only seem to have simple tasks like changing colors adding/removing some body parts. The graphics are neat and matching the game's tone.
I do feel a bit lost while seeing too many "unknown ingredient" stuff as it leaves me clueless. "How do I make it known?"
Great entry! I loved how strange everything was, the premise, the goblin, the collectors demands, etc. Really cool and creative vision for a game!
@quasilyte by using them on the goblin :)
Absolutely incredible. Unfortunately I think not having a playable web build will really hurt your chances at getting ratings. Extremely dynamic system, very emergent. I had fun just messing around and making monstrosities outside of the quests. The ending was a shock. Kind of wish there was an "endless" mode at the end with dynamically generated objectives. The goblin parts felt surprisingly "heavy" when moving them around compared to the honkin' big rock you could yeet just as easily as the teeth. The art direction was great, simple and cohesive. The sounds were at times beautifully unnerving. Loved the game, very well done.
I felt a little bad about this one, but it fit the quest requirements, so I think that makes it your fault. goblinmaxxing.png
@Bobap THANK YOU FOR PLAYING! GREAT FEEDBACK!
@bobap Yeah endless mode would be awesome, we might turn it into a cheap steam game with an endless mode and more story... I'll put a web build up that's a good idea, bit worried though because 3d web games can be a bit buggy. Glad you had fun <3
Very creative
Hey, this one for sure one of the best entries i've seen for this jam! I can easily imagine how this will be expanded into full game, there's so much stuff that can be added on top of already quite IMPRESSIVE FOR A JAM selection of ingredients without stretching the gameplay loop. Though the potion part isn't really necessary at the moment, because, well, it's a one-ingredient potion and it just adds kinda useless step... it's not tedious at this scale, just not really reasonable. But ig it's much funnier to be transformed by the potion made out of the book, not by the book itself. So yeeeeah, combinations of ingredients is the most obvious thing you could add for release, just don't allow the player to mix EVERYTHING, only specific combinations that you can learn from something, idk. And "bad" mixing will result in some generic items... well, you know the drill, that's a solved game concept. But you've added a lot of wackiness and weirdness to feedback of player's actions, this mixes up really well with it. Anyway, overall, great presentation and really fun implementation of a brewing game. I just wish that the agonizing screams of goblins weren't so loud.
God damn that was good lol, wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the next game that every Youtuber plays. Also I want to echo the suggestions from @kro regarding expansion of the mixing mechanic, expanding it and also allowing potions with less than favourable results would add a whole new level to the gameplay loop. 10/10
Interesting game, I liked exploring with the ingredients, but the goblin noises were a little bit too much (at the beginning).
love the art! the game looks really polished, love the 3d grabbing haha! I wish you could've combined ingredients that would be really cool! but other than that its pretty fun
@kro @kinn @khamekaze Thank you guys :) we originally wanted to do ingredient mixing but having even just 10 ingredients resulted in like 150 unique potion combinations. Having only specific recipes is a nice idea, and then if you don't do the right recipe it could spew out some random thing like a goblin midget lol
@khamekaze @kro I am afraid if the system wasn't so simple then people would be too confused to get far. There might be a solution in the future though!
Wow, this felt really polished and the gameplay was really fun! I really enjoyed figuring out what effects various things would have around the room, but then once you figured everything out you'd have to figure out the correct order to apply certain effects which kept things interesting. Very impressive and well done!
Really cool
It's really fun to explore all that horrible things what you can do with poor goblins, it's amazing both technical and conceptual!
Ahahaha, my God! A truly cool and beautiful game. I had so much fun playing it. I'll be waiting for the Steam release. By the way, if you're interested in a surreal atmosphere, you might want to check out our game ;)
Really creative take on the theme, so fun to see what kind of weird and whacky combinations you can make. I would have loved to see some multi potion mixing to really add some fun experimenting to the whole process. I'd be curious to see where you expand on the concept for your steam release.
Had a lot of fun playing this one! I did come across a small bug where the goblin got stuck to the ceiling when it spawned, but I turned on the grinder and new goblin came and continued playing. Easily the best game by far in the jam. Definitely could be expanded to a steam release. Best of luck!
Quite a delightful game! A couple of bugs that were already listed in the comments above, sure, but very fun combinations of potions, it made my newfound sadistic side towards goblins flourish so I thank you for that! And good luck at the upcoming steam launch, definitely grabbing it on release.

@sharky3188 Yeah multi potion mixing would be ideal but since we're releasing on Steam in less than a week now there just wasn't enough time to change the game loop. It's getting expanded in equally fun ways though!
