LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Pest Patrol by p0l4r 2024-10-12T16:30:38Z

I like idea and hub which is a desktop. Funny texts and platformer minigame, little creepy boss fight (I think arachnophobes really are screaming when they opened that door xD) Nice mechanic with sneeky roaches, but I didn't get one thing - can I kill them with my foot-strike or not?

Necrohorde by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2024-10-11T15:34:11Z

Nice td with roglite elements. Nice spells, funny monsters, control is quite well.

First encounter felt a little hard, I died about 30 seconds (skill issue, yes) Perhaps it was possible to move the tower up and leave only three directions of attack, for better waves control.

I found myself almost never using ArcaneRain, making do with combinations of lightning, trap and meteorite. btw I didn't recognise meteorite from icon and my soul asked for some kind of ultimate.

Ultimate Mug Ball: Desktop Edition III by Jahwffrey 2024-10-12T16:57:29Z

I surprised to see sport simulator! I played with my self (oh, that sounds bad) but it was still quite fun (that sounds even worse). I think rabbits really bad in passes and it makes them almost useless (but maybe I didn't get they strong sides). p.s. Power ranger is a beast

Pawned Potential by ilya096 2024-10-12T16:03:00Z

nice explotring, pleasant art and sound design. Interesting idea with player's ability trades for coins. Game has a lack of feedback in combat but it's not big deal. Great work, it was fun.

Wet Worm Works by RefraX295 2024-10-11T21:50:18Z

I like game idea and mechanic but this game really needed a little sound and maybe some challenges in gameplay. But it still addicted and I finished it with pleasure. Nice work!

tiny creature RPG game by MenacingMecha 2024-10-11T22:03:33Z

old console rpg vibe and awesome sprites. I didn't figure this combat, maybe it's not quite finished but I give it another shot surely!

Blob, To the Top! by MetRiko 2024-10-11T18:18:38Z

Awesome game. Sound, graphic, gameplay all set. Reminds me worms by mechanic, but cut the rope by mood) Nice tutorial, difficulty progression, puzzles, chalenges. I really enjoy it, well done, mates!

Lab Rat Runner by anaastaska 2024-10-11T16:22:38Z

nice hab with litle tutorial, it's really helphul and many jam's game developers forgot or din't get enough time to do it. I reached four floor and explored all rooms by my way. I think game needs some feedback fixes for damage, shoot trace, it will improve action component. I was impressed by AI, it fun to play with. Nice work!

Little Chef by DERRIXX 2024-10-20T13:13:31Z

awesome idea, but I couldn't find some ingredients and I didn't get how exacly the knife works. A litle tutorial would be nice, but still it has nice gameplay. Brilliant work!

Beyond Fear by Arsmih24 2024-10-11T16:43:16Z

Amazing sound and art work, I'm not limbo guy at all, but it was very kneet impression. Platformer feels a little clunky, especially jump, but it's kinda works because of nightmare vibe.

Interstellar Repossession Service by firellon 2025-10-12T17:51:33Z

I like space games and I enjoy gameplay, the only issue - need a bit aim assist, because sometimes it's hard to hit small asteroid. Good work!

Halloween Knight by Artur Hawkwing 2025-10-11T10:44:59Z

I played post jam version and didn't figure out how to damage boss :) I tried to hit his fists, eyes, then I realised what I could jump on fist, then used it like a platform to jump on tree and then... I apparently fall to the off screen abyss)

Anyway, platformers are challenging genre to make for jam period, especially with boss battles! You did a good job here!

Fossoyeur by Anaconda Games 2025-10-11T19:15:45Z

nice graphic and sound, interesting game mechanic, but I often got my fingers tangled) Maybe if you started your game with smaller mesh, or maybe if game had options to show next button to each direction then for some gold fishy like me it would be nice! But still decent job!

Chicken Heist by nakato53 2025-10-11T18:30:44Z

nice control, good flow, which teach you about mech one by one. Good job!

Trick & Treat by stvnchng 2025-10-11T10:28:44Z

Collectibles and Halloween, good use of the jam's theme and timing)

Good old twin stick shooter, i regret only about lack of special abilities (or maybe I just missed smth?) Anyway, good job!

Goblin Goopmaxxing by NuiN 2025-10-11T15:11:06Z

It's really fun to explore all that horrible things what you can do with poor goblins, it's amazing both technical and conceptual!

Dice'OMancy by Kaspjej 2025-10-12T18:08:58Z

Nice art, but I don't get 6 it: does combat depends from position? Or it just dice throw?

Collector's Cove by shamotte 2025-10-11T15:35:49Z

I probably need a little tutorial, I felt my self dumb :D It's a bit confusing what we have all items from beginning, maybe it fit better, if we collected all that items from caves

Mars Rovers by Blazerker 2025-10-11T10:17:07Z

Great puzzle game, very nice work! Gameplay seems to have many opportunities for further extend. New robot types, maybe adding new dimensions (air, underground), new threats and even enemies with more resources (shields, scrap) - so many possibilites!

I beat all levels and have only a few UI\UX proposals: - from start player doesn't know capacity of mines and collector, so you should use trial and error to figure this out. - would be nice to have accelerated playback mode for subsequent attempts - maybe you should paint depleted resources source to gray color

ECHÆRA – The Silent Painter by Crowelian 2025-10-11T18:55:32Z

the most poetic and beatifull "snake" game I ever played! :D just chilling and listening swesome song, thank you for that! Nice!

ECHOMAZE by pipetto 2026-04-28T20:56:55Z

In the first few tries, I just died, then pushed forward into immobile interactive objects. Maybe I was a bit unfocused, so I didn’t notice any interactive icons that would help. Anyway, it’s an interesting way to approach the jam theme. I think you should give the player a little time to get used to the gameplay, and only then introduce crisis management with energy— that would work better, I think.

Link the Shrink by TOSHIY 2026-04-28T18:09:04Z

Nice, addictive game! My top score was 19, and I really want to play more. I was a little confused by the people icons because I thought they were something like zombies. I didn’t get why the mining disappeared. Anyway, it was fun — thank you for the game!

Last Frequency by Catanus 2026-04-28T21:13:51Z

I like the mini-games, and the later stages were challenging. I especially liked the separate signals for the two streams.

RADAR LINE_ by saloid 2026-04-28T21:35:05Z

It reminds me of an arcade game that John Connor plays in Terminator 2. Awesome idea and decent realisation. Nice graphics and atmospheric sound design, with simple but slightly strategic gameplay — I enjoyed playing it. The only things I missed: the selected unit should be focused after spawning, and I’d like to have hotkeys to temporarily turn off the radar rendering.

lost in head by ROWLING 2026-04-28T18:25:49Z

I like the art style, but I seem to have broken it on the model puzzle. I was very close to getting it right when I gave a wrong answer, and then two windows blocked my view.
