Space Bees by MrChippy 2021-10-06T21:50:13Z

Nice work! As someone trying to learn 3D dev, this was some nice inspiration. The movement felt really smooth.

Sticky Wheel by TopperVideoGames 2021-10-06T22:08:21Z

This is great! I love the katamari-like concept but the checkpoints combined with the orientation of the platforms and the precision required gameplay also reminded of a game I used to play called Ballance (released by Atari I believe). Really cool stuff and I enjoyed the audio as well. As someone trying to learn 3D, I would love to try and pick apart some of the things in this game.

Once again, nice work!

Mothew vs The Light by Spice Cabinet 2021-10-06T20:30:59Z

The vibe of this game was nice! I appreciate the attention to detail in the art and behavior of the character (being able to pull away from lights and the various associate expressions and whatnot). I'm not sure if it was intentional but I would have liked it if the moth balls respawned after disappearing for a second chance to get to platforms. But overall really enjoyed it, cheers to the team!

Nice work! Fun and creative concept. I always like combat games with weapon switching.

Crazy Potion by zapdos2 2021-10-06T21:00:44Z

Congrats on the second submission! The idea of random unstable abilities activating is cool, and the gameplay is fun.

@toppervideogames Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate the thoroughness of your comments.

@fedev Thanks for playing!

@yogurtthehorse Thanks for playing! I was not aware of this game when I came up with the idea but one of my name proposals was "Fake Tetris" :)

@connormck Thanks for checking it out!

@zain I appreciate it a lot, thanks :)

@acarc Thanks for playing!

@zapdos2 Thanks! Simple is best :)

@mrchippy Physics tetris wasn't the original plan but it ended up that way. Thanks for the feedback!

@13x666 Thanks for playing! I would like to check out other similar games if you are aware of them.

@Geojax Thanks for playing! My original design involved more block varieties and physics, but we ran out of time to implement them. I'm hoping to polish the idea up to more flavor to the gameplay.

@sli Thanks for playing!

@proxy-games The issue about waiting to get a stable platform to build upon is a valid criticism, and I also noticed that during gameplay testing as well. I'll try to come up with countermeasures in a more polished future version. Thanks for the thorough feedback!

@python-b5 Thanks for playing!

@chainsawmcd The timer has definitely been a polarizing figure among players. The restriction on letting players move pieces horizontally was actually a deliberate design choice; I was trying to remove as much player agency as (reasonably) possible to increase the chaos. I definitely see your point though and I'm glad you enjoyed. Thanks!

I noticed many people brought up how the timer was a bit tight. We noticed in playtesting that this could be an issue, and after seeing the comments I wish I could go back and either add more time or perhaps a button that lets you sacrifice points for time or something. I would like to revisit this and use it as an exercise to improve my design skills.

Turrim by Proxy-Games 2021-10-06T22:39:06Z

Nice game! I feel like our concepts were pretty similar. I liked the 3d look of the blocks a lot; it had a polished feel to it. I also like the fact that you included a practice mode. It's a nice feature that helps the user experience a lot in my opinion. The snapped vs free movement also fit in nicely during the gameplay.

Ember's Climb by dprings7 2021-10-06T20:51:07Z

Nice job! I like the aesthetic a lot and the pacing of the game is well-balanced.

The Auto-Analyst by chainsawmcd 2021-10-06T21:45:19Z

Nice job and congrats on the first jam! As someone who also did it for the first time it was pretty tough but also rewarding. I liked the concept of this game a lot and I think the length of it captured the vibe it was going for pretty well. The aesthetics also complemented the game nicely. Best of luck with your bigger projects in the future!

Circus Panic by Fedev 2021-10-06T20:18:54Z

Great game guys! I liked the art and the level design a lot, and overall the concept is really cool. This really nailed the theme and I think it hits the sweet spot for players looking for challenging games to play.
