This is the kind of game I had in mind when I first saw the theme was unstable. Still, I do like the use of classic Tetris pieces to build a tower with. The time limit is pretty harsh to work with, it is hard enough to build a tower that doesn't collapse near instantly! The physics seem fair, it needs to be a level tower with every piece given.
Music is relaxing to play to, good audio feedback as well.
Good job!

Nice but very difficult! I tried a couple of times but I couldn't make it. Nice job!
Cool concept and I liked the game, but check that out...

But you have a bit different idea and it still a great game :)
Time limit felt a little short, not enough to try to make anything tall. Graphics looked nice though and everything controlled well. This was one of the ideas my group came up with as well (tho we went with something else) so I enjoyed seeing that someone else had the same idea and implemented it well!

I enjoyed the music and visuals, it gave the game a really nice feeling. I'm a big fan of games like these and this was no exception, great work!

Simple concept, but nicely executed. Feels really good to play, and the presentation fits well. I like it!

Really nice and simple graphics. Physics tetris is a good idea for the theme.

This has been done a few times before, but each time is a blast. The execution is smooth!

I like the physics and the unique take on Tetris. It is pretty difficult, actually! After a few tries, I just spammed the drop button and made it to level 5, but that stopped working because the tower became unstable. Maybe different block shapes would be easier to balance. Also, the blocks move back and forth too long when the player is waiting for them to get in position. This wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that there is a timer! That leads to me losing a lot to the timer. Well done on your submission!

Cool take on Tetris. Difficulty was fair in my opinion.
This is a fun remix of Tetris, and it feels well within the theme. I feel like the pieces move back and forth a bit too slowly considering how short the time limit is-if you end up messing up your timing on a placement you have to wait a long time for it to be position over where you want it again, and sometimes that means that the game is over by then. Besides that, the difficulty is reasonable and the physics are consistent enough to where I was able to get to level 3 before my tower fell apart (by my own accidental doing). Overall, it was a fun game.
I've seen quite a few games like this in the jam, but I like that this one puts a bit of a clever spin on it; it's a fun remix of Tetris.
Good job!
This is great, I played it over and over for longer than I care to admit. I want a version with no timer. Or let the player control how the pieces moves horizontally before they're dropped. Music was boppin', too.

@toppervideogames Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate the thoroughness of your comments.
@fedev Thanks for playing!
@yogurtthehorse Thanks for playing! I was not aware of this game when I came up with the idea but one of my name proposals was "Fake Tetris" :)
@connormck Thanks for checking it out!
@zain I appreciate it a lot, thanks :)
@acarc Thanks for playing!
@zapdos2 Thanks! Simple is best :)
@mrchippy Physics tetris wasn't the original plan but it ended up that way. Thanks for the feedback!
@13x666 Thanks for playing! I would like to check out other similar games if you are aware of them.
@Geojax Thanks for playing! My original design involved more block varieties and physics, but we ran out of time to implement them. I'm hoping to polish the idea up to more flavor to the gameplay.
@sli Thanks for playing!
@proxy-games The issue about waiting to get a stable platform to build upon is a valid criticism, and I also noticed that during gameplay testing as well. I'll try to come up with countermeasures in a more polished future version. Thanks for the thorough feedback!
@python-b5 Thanks for playing!
@chainsawmcd The timer has definitely been a polarizing figure among players. The restriction on letting players move pieces horizontally was actually a deliberate design choice; I was trying to remove as much player agency as (reasonably) possible to increase the chaos. I definitely see your point though and I'm glad you enjoyed. Thanks!
I noticed many people brought up how the timer was a bit tight. We noticed in playtesting that this could be an issue, and after seeing the comments I wish I could go back and either add more time or perhaps a button that lets you sacrifice points for time or something. I would like to revisit this and use it as an exercise to improve my design skills.

@stvnchng The most memorable was Tricky Towers. That game has great party-type multiplayer and a bunch of diverse mechanics on top of the core idea. But in general, googling “physics tetris” will yield a bunch of different titles, some more memorable and unique than others. They are all tuned a little bit differently, some are more “slippery” than others, some are a bit more stable, rotation and snapping mechanics are different, etc.
The fact that this has been done before only means that the idea is pretty awesome. And the theme connection is undeniable! :D

Very fun and nice game, I love tetris so this is a good change. Maybe I'll add that you can drop pieces faster because you have really little time to play. Good physics!
