I enjoyed it ^^
This was a really fun idea! I had a great time playing this! :)
nice game, physics were spot on and very forgiving but at a certain point it becomes impossible to survive.
Enjoyed the atmosphere. Simple scope and done pretty well. Congrats!
a fun time waster, but i feel like more is needed for the game to captivate me more, maybe a timer that makes the bees shoot rapid-fire for a moment, or a clock that slows down time?
Interesting game concept.
Pretty simple and nice physics !
Okay, that's pretty fun and simple game, the physics feels super smooth and it's strangely relaxing. Good job on this.
Fun idea! I managed to survive up to 31 points. I feel like I don't see a lot of unreal engine games, so that was kinda cool to see too.
There's a lot of room for expansion here. I'll also mention that it might be kinda cool to have levels, maybe with different floor designs and a goal score you want to survive until? This was still a really fun entry - thanks for creating it!
Nice way to interpret the theme :smile:
The audio feedback is good, even without a tutorial, after 1 shots I could immediatly understand what's happening and what to do.
This could be the start for and entertainig game. Try to add a way for the player to deflect the incoming bee to save a shot or ad some power up that interact with the player or the environment. Those things could make the game longer and more engaging.
By the way, you make a good job. Keep dev! :smile:
I like the pixels on the block. The sky could have used a little more love.
controls are nice and tight. it's fun to parkour on the few blocks left after a minute or two
@cppchriscpp Thanks, that's the highest I've seen someone score. I'm trying to learn Unreal Engine rn so I decided trying to finish a game jam with it was a good place to start
Nice work! As someone trying to learn 3D dev, this was some nice inspiration. The movement felt really smooth.
simple to understand and fun to play, really liked how the controls felt!
Very nice. Gots a great arcade retro feel to it. Love the minimalism.
The sound design is nice. I liked the skybox too. Interesting concept.
Fun game! I really like jumping over gaps and dodging bees and whatnot. At one point I jumped on a bee and got carried out to the edge of the map, and then got stuck on the beehive and kept getting points. That was fun. I never understood exactly how I was getting points though. I love the movement and the tension of trying to remain on the blocks. Aesthetically it is well designed too.
@geojax Thanks, I knew you could get the bees to carry you, I never thought of the hive though. I probably should have explained the point system. You get a point every time a bee passes through the level.
Bees! Bees! Bees in the car! Bees Everywhere! God, they’re huge! They’re ripping my flesh off!” “Son, uh, roll around. You hear me? Roll around on the ground!” “Forget that! I’m starting to swell up!” “Save yourself. Don’t be the hero!” “Frank, I’m alLergic to bees.” “Me, too.” “They’re huge, and they’re sting crazy!” “We’ll come back later and check on you!” “Yeah, in a while.” “Save yourself!” “Your firearms are useless against them!”
Nice Game, but I would love to see the hive make different movement on other axes to add a little spice to the game.
@mighty-tiny I might use this.
@basset-romain Good idea, I'm planning on expanding the game so I might try this.
Simple but very enjoyable game. Make you start thinking "geometrically" in order to minimize cut out slices. Great entry! 32.jpg
Feels like a boss fight!
@bbaf @jelch Thanks :D
