Really nice game, i don't know if it was me or the game but i kinda had a hard time going through some levels
Really great job!
I really like the idea of increasing the remaining time by putting the gold into the chest!
I really like the idea, it really get out of hand so quickly i was barely able to go more than 4 minions at a time
Good Game, but didn't survived more than 30 second each time
Really interesting game, the actual gameplay make me feel a bit like I do have a real impact on the actual game but it is really funny
First pipe i tried was the leave job  wasn't thinking that would have stop the game.
But nice game, it fit the theme really well too.
We are really happy to hear your feedback, concerning the issue we think it was kind of a random "Bug", we actually played quit a while and never got this kind of behaviour, it could be because the hitbox is actually really punitive, we don't really know at the moment anyway we don't know if you heard it but when you attack someone using the wrong element another sound is played.
Thank you for your feedback anyway :relaxed:
@taran-unraveler did you change your weapon element with the E key ?
@oson there is actually no "x to undo invertion" that was "mouse X inverted" that mean it inverte your mouse axis and you have the survival mode where the robots attack you if you want
Fun game to play, i wish i had one more weapon to kill them all!
In a certain way it kinda looks like we had the same base idea for our game :joy:, but your way to make the player choose is penalty make the player feel more like he is in control of what he does and that's great!
i don't know what happened but on my first try i got stuck by the blue enemy on a wall as soon as the game started and got killed over and over, maybe you should try to fix this behaviour because i had to restart the game to actually play  but the overall idea is kinda cool and i would what to know were you will make that end if you continue this game after the ludum dare!
I really like the idea and the art, I had a lot of fun playing it but I had an issue where item where going offscreen i could se just like a quarter of them not breaking the game but just to let you know to fix it
Same here couldn't find your page :worried:
Really fun game, with a lot of "meme" reference was really fun to play !
Really good job, i think a nice way to improve it as you asked me would be to add some kind of smart AI that kill monster and sell food too that way you could make the exchange rate vary and that could open you a lot of way to expand this nice world
Nice little game knowing your time limit
@lilkrit Thanks, and yes it is intended :)
@furiouswitch Sorry we don't have any time to fix the game for the moment.
@faiorb no the music wasn't us but, all the other sounds were. Thanks for your review
@alpie It seems like you might have accidentally discarded your guns during the loot phase, which is why they stopped shooting after the first wave.
@robowarrior1982 Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the sprites, we didn't have a graphic designer on our team, and many assets weren found online. That's why we chose to opt out of sound and graphics ratings.
@oren-hope Thanks a lot, I'm really happy you enjoyed the game! 😄 The T ability lets you interact with preset transparent builds that appear during specific waves. There's a wall during wave 2 and a bridge at wave 3. You can send your ants to these structures to build them and either block enemy paths or create shortcuts. We had plans to add more, but we ran out of time. Really appreciate the feedback and glad you liked throwing ants like bombs! 😂
Really cool game, I had a lot of fun with it. The mechanics are clear, and it feels great to play, everything runs smoothly.
I noticed two small things though. I couldn’t really tell if the game has an ending or if it’s meant to go on forever (or maybe I just missed something). And there’s a small visual glitch where a card sometimes appears behind the ones in your hand.
Overall, it’s really fun and easy to get into, even if I’m still not sure how to finish a game haha.
@ryusui Thank you so much for the honest review. It is pretty rare to get such detailed feedback during the jam and I really appreciate it.
The movement bug you ran into is one we are aware of. We noticed it right after the deadline, but since Ludum Dare is over, we will leave the version as it is. We kind of messed up there and we will just own it.
About the damage feedback, there is actually supposed to be a scream sound and a small animation on the health bar, but some of the audio does not always trigger properly and the health effect ended up being too subtle. Definitely something we will improve if we make a post jam version.
Thanks again for playing and taking the time to write such thoughtful feedback. It really means a lot.
Thanks a lot, @skale, @re-markable, and @apdt. We really appreciate you all taking the time to play and leave such kind and detailed feedback.
We are super happy you enjoyed the idea, the typing mechanic, and the overall vibe. The game was actually meant to be much faster and harder at first, but we have a habit of making our jam games too difficult, so this time we tried to tone it down a bit.
It is awesome to hear it brought back some nostalgia and that you had fun chasing high scores. Thanks again for the support and encouragement.
Really cool game, I had a lot of fun playing it. I was just hoping for a few more movement upgrades to keep the progression going.
Man, this is a great, well-put-together jam entry with a highly engaging core loop. Thanks for including friendly collision detection it makes the intense dodging much less frustrating. I have to admit, I got totally stuck on level 4, but I'm definitely coming back to conquer it! image.png
I really enjoyed the core idea and had a lot of fun playing. The concept is great, and I loved seeing my little population grow. A couple of small things made it a bit tricky at times: the camera movement felt a bit slow, and when the game pans to each piece at the end of a turn, it takes a while once you have a bigger population (I had around 10 pieces). I also wasn’t able to build a Royal Academy, which might just be a small issue.
Overall, this was a really creative and enjoyable entry. With a few tweaks to the pacing and camera, it would feel even smoother to play.
