I don't mean to be rude but I'm not entire sure what the overall point of the game is, besides just running around.
Very good visuals and audio! The gameplay is a little boring, though the power ups made it a lot more enjoyable. I hope you call the cane power-up the 'huri-cane' because that's what it reminds me of! I made it 10months. No idea if that is good or bad

Good game! The graphics are great and fitting. The powerups are fun and clear to understand. The problem with this game is that it doesn't really get harder with the time. Maybe you can increase the throw distance of the people or increase their speed, just so that the player has to develop tactics to not get hit.
Love the sprites, gets fairly difficult as the game goes on, I like it!

I enjoyed the game, but I really wish there had been some sort of ending. After about 5 minutes I just suicided in a massive pack of relatives that I was kiting around. If there was an ending, it would have been good to know what sort of progress was being made to get there.
Great game, tho i wasnt sure what the dentures were for. Awesome graphics and animations!
Nice visuals i like the audio too but when you get it multiple times or are too much text popping quickly, the sound effect become unpleasent. By the way, nice job on making this game !

Nice art ! The game could use a bit more challenge/interesting events, because right now it needs a way to keep the player engaged. Also, maybe add some text scaling, because right now on a 4k monitor the text is almost unreadable ^^ If you add a few design element, like a way to fight back the ennemies or another goal other than just surviving/running away, you could have a great game :)
Thanks everybody for the feedback! So far we saw people liking the visual aspects of the game (that were made by @andre-lima by the way).
@ryan-wine The "QUIT" button appears only when you die, or when you are in the main menu. Since we rushed in the end, we had no choice to avoid an in-game menu.
@marcus-dubreuil It was not rude, it's fine. The main point is to survive, because this was made to be an arcade-like game, having days and months as your score. But thanks for the comment!

@daspanjo As we got more people to play, we saw that it's hard to NOT die. I would say it was a miscalculation of the difficult. But thanks!
@evil-as-shit The main idea was to "bite" the mobs, making them stop for some time. Maybe a longer time on that stage would help to give the idea? 🤔
@faiorb I getcha - the time can really get away from you in a hurry! I had to skip the final boss in mine.
I like the music and the pixelart. I managed to survive for 4 months and 3 days. Not bad. :)
nice game.... loved it.... sound was also interesting. running away from crowd because you have money is really a nice concept.

Something about the power-ups - they stack on top of each other and it seems like the wheelchair always takes precedence on pick-up. But I find the wheelchair to be the most useful.
It also seems that canes take precedence over dentures. And you can't pick dentures after picking canes, which nulifies something that would be a good strat when there's a huge mob - combining canes with dentures. Since mobs that get caught on dentures seem to stay stuck forever, it would be helpful to get a cane and then a denture to lock a good chunk of them in place and not have to worry about them anymore.

got to three months! only issue i had was the powerups stacking, and maybe being able to skip the text crawl. other than that, really well done game, the graphics were great and went well with the music.
Its very funny. But how many relatives does that poor man have. As said before a quit button would have been handy but since its a game jam sometimes sacrifices have to be made
Love it needs to be more to do though and power ups need mroe explaining :)

Reference jokes aside, I loved this entry. It's like its own nightmare as a game. Clearly, it doesn't seem to end, but the art style and the music really complement each other and the gameplay.
I'm not sure I have a lot of criticism for it, aside from maybe an ending that isn't just losing. Though, maybe I just didn't find the way to 'win'. Also, a 'menu' to quit while playing, and opening up some of the gaps near the houses up against the edge of the screen, so the player can get around.
Also, I noticed some powerups were spawning in an unreachable island in the middle of the lake. A bug, perhaps?
