Really interesting, I like how the gameplay progresses and gets more complex. The double lined signal where you have to be careful on two separate tracks was quite interesting. Very fun!

2026-04-21 10:17

Hooray, this is a game I not only played, but also completed. I'm putting a notch on my keyboard. A good runner.

2026-04-21 10:18

love the sound design, other games tended to have annoying sounds for frequencies

2026-04-21 10:26

FANTASTIC IDEA!!I love it SO MUCH!!

2026-04-21 10:53

an interesting idea

catanus 2026-04-21 12:07

Thanks for your ratings and feedback!

jan-sate 2026-04-21 14:08

The way that this game's introducing new elements. It's kind of addicting. I think I lose on level 6 and I actually retried and finished the whole game. Good job! :D

trav 2026-04-21 16:11

Cool game, you really nailed the theme :) The itch.io link works better than the web version embedded here, the ldjam version doesn't seem to capture the arrow keys properly and moves the page up and down.

lemma 2026-04-21 17:00

This is the best game I've seen so far in the jam. Audio and mood fit perfectly. Although... why was there a level where I was so fast I couldn't react fast enough to dodge anything?

catanus 2026-04-21 17:39

Hello, @lemma! Thank you for playing and for your feedback. One of the levels is intentionally designed so that you can’t dodge at the beginning. I wanted to shock the player before introducing a new type of segment with mirrored controls. I apologize if this negatively affected your gameplay experience.

olegator0270 2026-04-21 18:41

I really enjoyed having mini games during the race.

eugenik 2026-04-21 21:42

The theme of sending humanity's last message is so compelling; it gives the whole game a really great sense of urgency. Watching the signal decay and needing to adjust the amplitude to keep it stable felt like a genuinely tense challenge. Great job creating such an engaging scenario!

2026-04-22 01:47

第一关的难度还是让我有点轻敌了,我没想到这个游戏到后面很难做到0失误,这个游戏真的很棒

gecko64 2026-04-22 04:19

I loved the combination of mechanics especially trying to match the amplitude of the wave throughout the levels, and the slow but solid incrementation of difficulty. Good game I enjoyed playing :)

whateverdat 2026-04-22 09:24

A nicely polished game with fittingly neat audio—which reminded me the style of Mini Motorways, which I really like. The game already has an abundance of different mini-games especially considering the duration; yet I still feel a genuine attempt to create variety with the repeating ones (for example the changing speed, different obstacles, and the varying number of lanes, dividing the signal and mirroring the input etc.) This kept the game fresh until the end, which urged me to re-attempt some of the previous levels to better my score.

Despite being rhythm game, I must add that the theme nicely complements the overall design and ambience. And lastly, I am curious about the engine/framework you used, the web build feels really responsive.

catanus 2026-04-22 09:50

Hello, @whateverdat! Thank you for your detailed feedback. I'm glad you liked our game. We had many ideas for what to add to the game, but we decided to focus on a limited number of mechanics to provide the best player experience. The game engine is PixiJS.

volkolak 2026-04-22 10:36

I finished it in one sitting. The gameplay is captivating, and the multiple modes keep you from getting bored.

pipetto 2026-04-22 10:45

I like how the gameplay evolves over time, and the visuals and audio complement it really well

theg 2026-04-23 15:02

very polished feeling game. cleanly presented. i wasn't sure if the purple obstacle was good or bad when i first saw it? i think i'd make that look more like the other obstacle in some way

croped 2026-04-23 15:02

Cool entry, reminded me of the tests they do to check if your fit for the military but much more gamey and polished xD although i found the frequency tuning part a bit boring overall it was a nice experience and i did finish it guess that says something ^^

arnage 2026-04-23 15:16

Very good example of the benefits of a minimalist but polished style. Well done!

oddballdave 2026-04-23 15:21

That was fun. It's got a great aesthetic. Gameplay was loads of fun. And the chill tones helped my stay relaxed whilst playing. There was a good bit of variation in the gameplay too. Great fun. Good stuff :8ball:

onedozenbagels 2026-04-23 17:40

I enjoyed this a lot. One of the few jam games I've played that was easy to jump in (not a lot of intro or complex controls) and kept my attention all the way to the end. Really nice audio and mood too. When the paths split it broke my brain, but in a good way. The one thing I'm not sure about is the aiming mechanic - it didn't seem very challenging, assuming that getting the circle to the center was all that was required. Keeping up with the saucer reminded me of beaming up the aliens in Cosmic Ark, an old Atari game that probably only I like or remember. All in all, great job!

catanus 2026-04-23 18:21

Thank you all for your feedback! It's very important to us.

@onedozenbagels, that's true. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to work on making the aiming mechanics more challenging. I'm glad we were able to surprise you in other parts of the game.

indiepanda 2026-04-23 20:49

Classic runner + mini games. It's a cool idea, I like it. Nice art style.

hurp 2026-04-23 20:51

Pretty cool! I like the switching mini games and the minimalistic artstyle :D

purrseus 2026-04-23 20:52

"You play as the signal itself" is an interpretation of the theme I have not encountered before 😗

Really somber, calm mood, I loved that! The art is great, the sounds are pleasing, gameplay starts out very simple, but the double tracks were a really nice challenge, took a moment to adjust the brain :)

For the frequency modulation, I think I might have actually prefered if there was no square, just the wave. Otherwise that part seemed laughably easy, even though it's sooooo incredibly satisfying to ACTUALLY be able to modulate the frequency 😮

Anyway, I feel good about having finished this game, may help come swiftly before everyone's dead!

2026-04-23 22:33

I think I found the right time to play this game — after a hard day of work, it really calms me down.

garaptic 2026-04-23 22:51

This is a really good game, it's really well-rounded, it feels really good, and it's a lot of fun. The different types of signal minigames were awesome. One of the best games out there! :D

camden-obertop 2026-04-23 23:29

the ambient soundscape scratched my brain in a way not done by any other game, kudos gentleman.!

illiteratelexicon 2026-04-24 00:08

quite fun the audio is really nice and is definitely on theme, sort of reminds me of the game "Thumper"

yanato 2026-04-24 00:16

Nice game. Simple and meditative~

oxnh 2026-04-24 09:59

Nice clean graphics and new mechanics to keep things interesting. It would've been great to see a high score mode with an emphasis on speed and maybe with leader-boards for replayability after the campaign.

kintsugi 2026-04-24 11:37

Soo simple but soo interesting. One of the best games on jam really. U should do hard mode. GJ!

loki-drams 2026-04-24 13:15

Short but good game! The atmosphere of the game is very good. Focus issue on the ludum site, but on itch.io no problem. Very good sound design.

Good job !

aniretti 2026-04-24 13:35

a simple but good game! the sound is a bit annoying, but that's just my personal preference x) i see that many people like it, and i think it suits your game well.

xarina777 2026-04-24 14:22

Awesome etalon arcade. Well done!

joegreen 2026-04-24 17:45

It looks simple, but it's stylish as hell! The sound and visuals are really satisfying. And it's awesome that there are so many different ways the signal can move.

andriybyelikov 2026-04-24 19:45

Love the sound design, very moody. Didn't think the aim it minigame was so easy the first time around.

papaver 2026-04-24 22:19

Moody, a bit mysterious, an adventure. Great!

The minigame of getting the signal right was maybe too easy with the visual on the right.

The audio was nice, but at first I thought it was produced by the game play, but after a while I concluded it was probably just the background track. Nice clean visuals. Well done!

2026-04-25 13:20

Nice, simple, and most importantly fun! Though it would have been nice to have a slightly more challenging obstacles, and this "aim it" part could've been shorter as was already mentioned.

cedaoan 2026-04-25 15:39

I love it! wow the animations are so smooth! It's such a polished game! I only wish for maybe more music and audio, that'd be niceee. Good job!

doa 2026-04-25 16:33

really coherent sound and game design!! amazing design all over, very satisfying to play! I think the Aim It! part could be more difficult for example by rotating the arrow keys in a random way so that you have to figure out which arrow makes the dot move in which direction first.

masikano 2026-04-25 16:39

WOW

really cool game

but there is no fullscreen, so webpage scrolls with my "last signal". That was funny (on ld page, not on ithc) :)

prunus-padis 2026-04-25 16:50

Really great minimalistic style, i am wondering what did you use to draw such clean lines? The game play was simple and decently easy but with the mix of variations made it a nice playthrough. My favorite part was splitting signal because it takes some brain power to not get confused which direction to go, would have been nice to have more parts like that, though you had quite many levels for a jam game anways! The theme is strong in visuals and gameplay.

catanus 2026-04-25 17:46

Thank you all very much for your feedback <3

Hello, @prunus-padis! 160 points, between which the line is drawn, are used to smoothly draw a line. All curves are achieved using a sine function. Noise on top of the current sine wave is also created using several additional sine functions. To animate the frequency and amplitude changes, intermediate states of the curve are calculated at a certain step and redrawed every frame.

anku 2026-04-25 19:59

An excellent game. I only wish it had a bit more momentum from the very beginning, especially since it’s a jam game. The repetitive sound could also have been replaced with something more varied. On the other hand, the gameplay is simple but very well executed, and it captures the theme nicely. Definitely a good game.

2026-04-25 21:23

Minimalistic and creative! Love it, good job!

jordantanner 2026-04-25 22:59

Excellent use of the theme! The vibe, mood, aesthetic were minimal and enjoyable. Audio design subtle and non-intrusive while still playing in to the theme. Gameplay was intuitive immediately -- an important detail for a jam entry. The "mini-games" kept things from being too monotonous, though I couldn't tell if there was a pattern to them -- they felt a bit random. But you did a great job of communicating to the player what they were intended to do without any instruction in all three gameplay modes, so again, excellent job. Great entry, congrats!!

isaac-hisey 2026-04-26 01:04

Atmospheric, minimal, well executed. Well done!

2026-04-26 03:17

an interesting idea

sinemual 2026-04-26 04:55

The graphics and the way the player's onboarding is integrated into the gameplay are really impressive! Great job!

2026-04-26 07:38

A fairly banal idea centered around signals—something very obvious and on the surface—but the execution is великолепная! It’s very concise, feels great to play, I got hooked. The progression is clearly designed with expertise, and the graphics are simple but stylish.

catanus 2026-04-26 09:42

Thank you all for your feedback <3

panduplan 2026-04-26 10:00

Cool game, really nailed the theme! Difficulty increases very gradually which feels nice. The cyberpunkish style is great. Overall very solid experience

venomousmouse 2026-04-26 11:18

Good idea, well executed and polished. Nice job!

bananplyte 2026-04-26 13:27

Very cool game! Great theming!

dqso 2026-04-27 05:49

Beautiful, enjoyable game that fits the theme perfectly! Just wish there were more levels :(

dontgiveupboy 2026-04-27 12:53

I complete all levels it was addictive and really hard sometimes.)

custodi 2026-04-27 23:34

Cool minimalist style of the game, like how cohesive art is. Sometimes it feels unfair with point placement, when you move too fast and cannot pick it( Good game flow, nice result for the first entry!

yopox 2026-04-28 07:13

Very nice entry, the music reminded me of VVVVVV  The game is very catchy :)

atmospherium 2026-04-28 14:30

You built quite a mood with such simple ideas. Great use of audio to add tension. The highlight for me was definitely the mirrored stages, I felt like I had to lock in. I see a lot of potential for expanding on that mechanic in particular. I wasn't a fan of the wi-fi minigame, it felt like everything was unpredictable and I successfully ended in the wi-fi cone twice by accident alone.

lloydlobo 2026-04-28 14:34

Really happy to see a game like this in this jam. I love the pacing, level progression, sound effects, and the brief interludes between each level. My only feedback is that I found some frequencies a bit too high for my liking, and some quick volume balancing or limiting could fix that. There’s so much more that could be done with this game, and I’d love to see it on Steam and/or mobile devices.

daupoh 2026-04-28 21:13

I like the mini-games, and the later stages were challenging. I especially liked the separate signals for the two streams.

abiral 2026-04-29 19:04

simple game. loved the graphics and mini games too.

coderaurus 2026-04-30 19:10

Good game. Kind of relaxing, despite the different challenges. The difficulty curve and pacing felt right. Only the resolving wave sound in aiming matrix was too loud for me. And it didn't occur to me to try and pause the game and adjust audio, other sounds were fine.

Nice work!

lllarso 2026-04-30 20:02

That was fun! I played through all levels and it was nice, that you kept adding new gameplay elements to the mix. The double lane was especially fun!

For me personally it was too slow. Having an expert mode with a faster gameplay would satisfy relaxed players and the persons who like a faster movement.

The graphics are simple but fitting to the game. I like the overall style. When I played the game it felt like an ASMR-video, very relaxing and a cool mood. :)

ao-85 2026-05-04 21:07

I like how the gameplay evolves over time, and the visuals and audio complement it really well

2026-05-05 22:16

A very stylish minimalist game. I absolutely loved the music, the handling of the difficulty curve, and such a pure interpretation of the topic. Amazing work has been done!

rewzu 2026-05-07 07:32

Cool concept. The art style is minimalistic but elegant and polished, so it looks great! Same story with the audio. The gameplay is simple but not boring and the art matches it very well. Overall, it feels like a finished game. Great entry! :D

2026-05-08 01:06

Loved the concept, great interpretation of the theme! Thought it was very clean :)

kirill-balak 2026-05-08 22:37

Very good minimalist visuals and gameplay!
