Rock Collector by smilewood 2025-10-22T04:28:22Z

Cool management game. Though I don’t think my mines do anything. Do they offer special buffs instead of adding to my rock/money count?

Talla and the Tomb of the Takers by ryusui 2025-10-24T03:51:50Z

For a jam game this feels really polished. Good job! The QTE does feel a bit repetitive after a while so I think it'd be better if there are more kinds of challenges as the level progresses.

Dream Together by senior_sigan 2025-10-22T04:32:14Z

this looks super fun and unique!

Collector by primitive-concept 2025-10-21T23:06:37Z

This is so damn cool. One of the most unique games in the jam. I love the underlying narrative and how real the process felt.

A Bulletmaster's Ritual by kiririn51 2025-10-22T09:48:57Z

Super awesome entry. Absolutely love the visuals and the music. The premise is sick too. It's truly impressive that you are able to create a game with this level of quality art and polish during the 2 day period. One of the best presented games I've played this jam.

The card system at this point feels a bit too simple and unbalanced (especially the gamblers. their money amount is crazy!) but it's definitely good enough for a jam game. With the current difficulty, I also think it might be interesting to make it so that if you deliberately fail you get into a new narrative branch since the dialogues imply that the main character was forced into this.

edit: wait this is the sukeban games entry? everything makes sense now

A Bulletmaster's Ritual by kiririn51 2025-10-23T11:24:53Z

@fireslash That's the ending I got. Well I guess I was trying too hard.

I don't mind running around a large level but the walk sfx bug is a bit annoying. Sounds like it's playing on every update. I like the layout of the environment props, pretty consistent in style

The Mysterious UNIT-Y by JustMars 2025-10-21T09:23:37Z

This is so damn cool how does this only have such few ratings!!

The storage hunter premise fits the collector theme perfectly. LOVE the game's visuals. It's really enjoyable just looking at the spread of items in each one. Gameplay-wise it does get a little repetitive, especially when the later units all basically being crammed with every item available and the player strategy being reduced down to just a blind 5050 which does not have a lot of consequences. However, that is not to say it's any boring to play. Having a realisitc catalog along with the units' impeccable visuals makes me really immerse myself in the role of a storage hunter and enjoy just the overall mood a lot. Though one issue that did kind of bother me was that there does not seem to be a clear winning or end condition to the game, even when I got UNIT-Y, which I expected to do something special but it's just like any other regular unit aside from the visual joke. If you plan to further work on the game (which I think you really should), I feel like it would help with the current gameplay a lot to instead of just piling items, you should design more varieties of items and HIDE the high value items with each valuable unit only normally having 2-5 of them, that way I think it would truly feel like I'm searching for some exciting treasures in a sea of trash. Also I'd love to see more special units such as Unit-Y and that they do something special. Overall, amazing entry. Great game!

The Mysterious UNIT-Y by JustMars 2025-10-21T09:24:25Z

Also I agree with the previous comments. There should be some progression!

Mod agent by Ty Victorson 2025-10-21T09:00:22Z

Holyyy shiiiit idk i just love shooters

In games I really don't love a lot of things more than weapon customization so this entry is a huge yes for me. There are a bit of jank in camera & movement but I think it's pretty managable and enjoyable in its own way. I especially love the absurd speed of sprinting. The starting gun is a bit harsh in terms of stats but I think it fits the game's direction pretty well. Once I got my first pieces of weapon mod it became exponentially easier. Though after a few runs through the missions I can't seem to get any mod that affects the fire rate which I wanted the most. Either way, Using weapon mods as a measure of progression works really well with me. The weapon edit menu at this stage can use a bit more work such as not allowing duplicate parts (or allow the player to delete them) and giving different mods different art though I suppose that'd be a lot of effort. Also love the theme of the maps. I'd be really excited to play the game if it got more polish and development.

SheepSeek by Elmos Minion 2025-10-21T04:24:19Z

Lowk the best game i've played this whole jam. It's beautiful. I love sheeps❤

The movment and shooting are really smooth and fun and the space atmosphere makes ts almost a meditative experience. My only wish is that the sheeps have a bigger pickup hitbox, at this point they are a bit hard to retrieve. Also the player torso sometimes blocks the camera too much.

Block Head Meat Mage by Paul Merkamp 2025-10-24T23:06:08Z

Super innovative idea. Though the web build's aspect ratio does not really fit the LD player and I couldn't really figure out how to control the mage, I still can see that this is a well thought out and packaged game. Good job. Wish there can be a guide to controls.

LaChuChu Fever by Yellowscope 2025-10-23T11:40:32Z

Wow, great idea! Although in the current version the odds are a bit harsh, I can definitely see this being polished into a full blown collection trading sim with the mechanics expanded. Really cool!

Guard the Forest by Phobos 2025-10-20T00:48:00Z

At first I was wondering why a game about picking up camping trash would have such an ominous tone, but then it came clear. Good job on the horror build up! Other than the framerate being a bit choppy it's a solid psych horror experience. The dither shader works really well in building up the atmosphere.

I Cast FIREBALL!! by Grizwhirl 2025-10-21T09:53:53Z

Nice game overall. Really fun to play with the fireballs & the dnd humor is pretty funny. Though I don't really see how this entry fits the collector theme.

Collectors' Creed by Mikhail_Shchapov 2025-10-23T07:19:31Z

Interesting idea in using edited live photos as visuals. Reminds me of Press X to not Die but more stylized. The UI though can use some more polish, when playing on the browser it tends to be all over the place. Overall pretty good entry.

Scrapfighter by Martingonn 2025-10-19T23:26:24Z

I like the idea of a doom style shooter but the game isn't really working for me even on the download build. It'd be good to try to work a bit more on optimization such as reducing real time lighting and model polygons. Good effort.

Scrapfighter by Martingonn 2025-10-19T23:29:40Z

The terrain is pretty cool!

Scrapfighter by Martingonn 2025-10-21T01:38:15Z

@martingonn I did try both versions and had no luck with the framerate on either. Though the issue might be amplified by my laptop acting up weird recently. Would be excited to play your game in a more optimized/polished state!

EBLU by n1evsky 2025-10-19T23:37:13Z

The artstyle is really awesome! Combined with the audio it feels like an old CRT 8 bit console game. Though I've been only able to get the death ending and the butterflies ending post catching a red object since the regular red butterflies seems to stop spawning. Is that intentional?

Also I got a bug after getting the red object ending I kept getting the ending screen everytime I press attack. Overall its really fun

Party Seal Collectathon by EagleZ 2025-10-24T09:57:43Z

Really nice visuals. The whole atmosphere is fantastic. Gameplay wise a bit simple but a really good expereince overall.

Tamago Bill by thegrottman 2025-10-21T07:33:51Z

Cool entry! I appreciate the 8 bit music and sfx a lot. They work really well to give the game the an old-timey feel. Gameplay wise I think it's pretty fun and engaging, but would like to see more challenges added as the level progress. I think some new enemy types would be nice.

Pay Or Die by sangheli 2025-10-21T11:45:18Z

Love the visuals and the premise. Awesome atmosphere. Though at this point I can't seem to figure out how to approach the gameplay strategically. On each turn, the enemy always plays their card and it's 100% according to their intended purpose(attack, heal) which leaves me with no choice but to also play all my cards. This way I don't think the "burn card" and "skip turn" options are any useful, because why waste my points if the enemy's going to play either way? On the 2nd level, I was told that I have 5 attempts, so on the first I tried using my first attempt to generate as much money as possible without thinking too much about dealing damage to the enemy since I know I'm not gonna do it first round. However, after dying, my progress is reset back to the first level again, which I'm not sure if a bug or not but certainly felt weird. Overall, this game's a nice atmospheric post-apocalypse experience, and I'd love to see the deck and strategy expanded if there are any further developments planned for the game.

RIPOFF by 5H08 2025-10-20T02:02:54Z

Thank you @sergs-workshop @jajo for the feedback. Due to the time and our inexperience with U3D only a basic engine physics based system was implemented. I'll try to polish the collision a bit more.

Thank you @deathandrepublic. I don't know what's going on either

RIPOFF by 5H08 2025-10-21T01:28:10Z

@zshandi-krahn Yeah that's a problem I've been trying to deal with the web build but can't seem to figure out how to make the aspect ratio work. I'll soon upload a downloadable build which should make the screen whole. In the meantime you can try to adjust your browser zoom level to make playing more managable.

RIPOFF by 5H08 2025-10-21T01:29:23Z

@ginger-kyoko I will! Thanks for the love 4 the music. I'll make sure to let the prod guys know.

Compression is the intended look we were going for but when implemented I'll admit it does feel a bit too much.

RIPOFF by 5H08 2025-10-21T04:30:47Z

@bad-fetus The punching being weird may be a result of the punch hitbox being placed as to only take the Y orientation of the player and not rotating vertically with the camera. Nice score! Your game is sick btw

Last Minute Shopping by Ajile3105 2025-10-20T01:50:09Z

It took me 5 tries to beat the easy mode but just 1 try to beat normal & hard. It's hard to keep track of things when they are clustered in one room. Fun and compact game, accurate representation of real life shopping experience

Always loved compact metroidvanias in game jams. This is awesome. The 2nd boss encounter was a bit hard though, took me a couple of tries.

Mountain food collector by Doughseller 2025-10-22T03:56:46Z

The art is pretty nice but the later platforming feels a bit too hard for me. There's also some jank with the food pickup that made my 2nd food straight up disappear. Overall it's good effort. Nice work on completing this project alone!

LD 58: Loot Collector by tweekus 2025-10-20T02:26:54Z

The design is simple but is very effective in building a gameplay loop. Feels very on par as a simple yet fun game. Great job on the project! I love orbs!!!! 微信图片_20251019202746.png

Madness bar by sick machine 2025-10-21T08:22:46Z

Woah, such a cool premise collecting bits of clues around a surreal bar like this. The character portraits are awesome, their designs suit the game's theme pretty well. Also love to see another case of character billboarding in the jam. Really excited to see the game fleshed out more with textured models & lighting. For immediate effect, at this point slapping on just some solid color U3D materials would really help get closer your intended effect.

In terms of gameplay, however, I feel that your game at this stage has a few bits of technical issues which prevented me from focusing on the narrative. Though it should be easily fixable if you plan to further work on it.

- Playing on the web build, it's hard to read some of the character dialogues with the long text crammed into the small speech box, while the complex font also makes the text less legible. It's kind of impossible to fully absorb the text like this especially with the time limit in place. I think breaking some long texts up into smaller dialog segments and using a simpler font for character speech would really help with their readability.

My specific case of text cramming in mind -- this speech by the cowboy:

cowboy.png

- For a game about searching for objects in a bar, the map at this point is a bit hard to navigate. I had to constantly jump and squeeze my player through chairs and tables due to their collision box giving me little walk space. Even so I'm frequently stuck. If you plan to make the bar more navigable, I think it's good to try to disable some of the environment props' collisions (e.g. chairs) or just increase the size of the bar with so that tables and chairs can having more walkable space between them.

- While it's not entirely a bad thing for a narrative game to be timed (Outer Wilds is a good example), currently I feel like the timer on this version of your is too tight, which doesn't give me enough time to absorb the narrative. If it's an intended design in your complete vision for the game, perhaps consider giving the player a bit more time.

Either way, it's really impressive that you guys put together a 3D game like this in under 48h. Not to mention you also got an interesting premise and cool design. Good job!

biologist by ne40k 2025-10-20T01:52:06Z

do you guys have an itch page or a downloadable build of the game? It's hard to play with LD's player only showing 1/4 of the game screen

biologist by ne40k 2025-10-20T01:56:15Z

You got a good theme and art direction. I'd be very interested in playing the game in its finished state.

Death Collector by raymondz 2025-10-21T11:54:35Z

The art and premise is SICK as hell though the platformer aspect is a bit repetitive and hard to play. I'd suggest some tweaking especially to the jump slowing your x-speed down but I guess it's ok if it's an intended design. Also I second the comment above, the umbrella animation is the probably vibe-wise best part of the game. I really like it.

sorry i might just be bad at platforming idk
