Interesting idea. Really fun though, I had a great time. Would be better if you could destroy enemies instead of just knocking them back. But other than that well done

That grapple is a ton of fun to whip around with, great job! Wish there were more SFX for all the elements you've got in here. It'd feel great to get feedback on shooting and moving around. I got to the level that was a grey box with 4 big turrets that I couldn't beat.
Yh, grapple is well done. There is a 'floatyness' to the movement, that I dont love. Audio could be improved, no real indication of impact when you hit stuff / get hurt.
Took me a while to realise I was shooting the sheep (that was my smolbrain tho), nice mechanic ;) works well with collector.
Sheepus had me laughing, my god that's a big sheep lol.
A little confusing, but cool
Thanks for submitting your game to our stream!
I personally found the grappling hook and movement mechanic more engaging than the shooting mechanic. Because of that, I ended up being more interested in exploring the stages more than engaging with the enemies. I wonder if there's a need to drastically change the game's design so that it only focuses on traversal, where one needs to collect X number of sheeps before completing the level; or to focus on the combat, and the grappling hook only works for combat purposes.
I do think the lack of auditory and visual feedback on hitting the enemies makes it less satisfying to shoot at them. Futhermore, since the sheeps fire so slowly, I felt the combat was somewhat more difficult than was intended. I personally liked that I had to move around and collect more sheeps, and thought it quite enhanced the combat moments where I felt vulnerable and needed to strafe around a bit. That said, knowing most levels didn't require me to engage with the enemies, I wasn't incentivized to explore the combat strategies any further.
This is a game with great potential: the mechanics individually are quite compelling. In its current implementation, as well as its current *combination*, I do think more time and polish could have helped.
The sheep and the main character's shadow are cool. The music really doesn't suit such a lively gameplay. It's a great game, it's fun to scurry around for ammo, and the enemies are certainly fierce, giving you no peace.
Lowk the best game i've played this whole jam. It's beautiful. I love sheepsâ¤
The movment and shooting are really smooth and fun and the space atmosphere makes ts almost a meditative experience. My only wish is that the sheeps have a bigger pickup hitbox, at this point they are a bit hard to retrieve. Also the player torso sometimes blocks the camera too much.
The grappling mechanic is fun! The music and art are good but a little somber and dark, which I found an interesting contrast with the silly concept of collecting and shooting adorable sheep. I found the game difficult though, the enemies are relentless and I had to toss a barrage of sheep to get through some of the corridors. Thankfully managed to free Sheepus in the end!
This game also taught me that sheep sadly don't make for good ammunition!
An interesting idea. Sheep are very cute. lol
The moment I grappled to the sheep it became so much fun! Good job!
