Pretty fun ride this game! Had to laugh when fred popped up and was happy to have a high value unicorn photo.
Thanks for that :D
Fun game! The photo valuation mechanic seems quite fair, I didn't get much value for pictures of things behind trees, it must check if the subject of the picture is actually visible. I liked the graphics, a satisfyingly simple yet effective artstyle that enables having a lot of assets in the span of the jam. It is unfortunate that there's no way to "speed up" when you run out of pictures and it's hard to tell when to run out of pictures without having any indication of when the visit will end. A progress bar would be nice for that, so I could know whether to use my pictures quickly or not. Overall it is nice, great job
The game dubbing is particularly funny🤣
Really interesting!!! especially when i saw the antman or something what ever :)
good job nice funny game, can't crontrole player and take picture around you is a nice idea and great comment
It was really interesting. I like colours in this game
Fun little game! I definitely wanted to walk around that forest myself, but it was still cool :) It’s missing a journal or book where you could see which creatures you’ve photographed and which ones are still hidden in shadow.
Good old mechanics :) Very nice graphics and overall atmosphere. Looks like a finished project.
ANIMALS!!!! Everyone has to play **right now**
Loved it! It was really fun to see what kinds of creatures were included. Mothman was probably my favorite, but they're all great. It felt like I had just the right amount of film for the loop. And the commentary made me laugh 😂
SO GOOD! I love the SFX and the graphics were a nice vibe. I finished with $33k and felt like there was still so much I missed!
34k Score. Very nice and charming game, love the visuals and voice acting. Amazing Job.
Great job! Nice and cozy! Love it!
Well done! loved the commentary, funny and cryptids are quite creative. It would be great to see some randomization of the walking route and the level around it so the replay would be more interesting, but I guess it would made everything much more harder to implement :)
That was awesome hike - got 28K! Great game, relaxing but still challenging, perfectly nailed the theme and looks very polished. I would like to especially mention the voice acting that alone adds so much fun!
SO COOL! The vibe is immaculate and the sound design is fantastic. This deer is my favourite part of this ludum
This was essentially a walking simulator, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I liked not having to worry about anything else except looking around trying to find things to take pictures of. The character lines were fun too and added to the mood. Great entry!
Haha I loved it when Fred showed up
This was soooo good, really enjoyed the comments too. Congrats! great entry :) At the end I wish I could see how many creatures I missed so I'd have more motivation to try again, but I think I did pretty well!
LMAO this is so fun!!! i loved Fred. i didnt notice i have limited nr of photos so i just kept going and ran out really quick... but humor is truly the best part of the game, the narration is so silly, the stepping on a branch part killed me. GREAT GAME ! !
It's like Pokémon Snap, but on an acid trip. Hi Fred! (100% fun time)
Also really cool graphics!
OH THAT RULED. No notes, this is hands down the funniest game I've played xD (say hi to Fred for me)
Wow, that was unexpectedly cool, it was a nice and funny trip. Good job!
now that's a funny one! :D Voice acting is the best, gags are brilliant from start to finish! missed the last one creature, but still can afford a few ramens. Very nice short game, beautiful art and most important - it feels complete. Great approach for a jam game, congrats! If it was longer or even a complete steam game, I'd play it. No doubts about that.
Was great, really loved the art. The overall style was fantastic.
Had a little bit of trouble with the mouse sensitivity sometime it would be find then feel slow.
Liked that it was on-rails but would have liked some indication of how far through the trail I was to ensure I didn't waste shots.
Loved the jokes and the weird and wonderful creatures around. Great job overall one of the best games I have played so far.
Loved the narration, it really tied the whole thing together! I was not expecting to see a pokemon snap type game out here so that was a fun surprise. I could definitely see this working as a longer experience too, with more levels and an overarching goal, nice work!
This was really fun! I think the only feedback I'd have is that when you're out of pictures, there should maybe be a fastforward, or skip to car button.
I didn't realize I had limited pictures until they ran out, so I shot through all of them pretty early on in the walk hahaha.
Great entry though, really loved the voice acting aswell!
Very cool! It reminded me of Pokémon Snap. Such a cool game, and I don't know anyone who likes it besides me.
I really liked the papercraft-style art. It was a very tasteful touch.
The comments are hilarious, and it was an excellent comedic touch!
Congratulations!
Really cool. The humor and voice acting are excellent, and the game is really fun. Great job!
I love the art style and the creative characters! The audio/comments really made the game feel unique, funny and immersive. A very nice experience. Ended up earning a total of $27,199.
Superb little forest walk sim. I loved the dynamic audio track, it honestly made a huge part of the game. The art was also very nice and game-play, after the first slightly jarring moments, very easy to understand too.
In the beginning though, I was not at all expecting to be on a train ride so to say with only the option to look around. But once I understood that, I think it was a great choice. I don't know if there's a way to ease the player into it better either. It would also have been really neat if I could have used the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in and out.
But all in all very good jam entry indeed.

@local-minimum Thank you for your full raw reaction! It is such a rare treat to see this from people.
Also, you can zoom in with the right mouse button. It’s more like an FPS iron sight zoom than a scroll/toggle.
Well, it was excellent! I loved the ride, the graphic style is great, the dubbing is excellent... it's really a good game idea for the theme, well done
Really great narration -- and a super cool idea for the theme!
DAMN Maybe my favorite so far !! The game is super cool , Great submission!
I finally play this game and I LOVE it! I couldn't stop laughing for the dubbing, you guys really nailed it! Great audio quality and balance with the sounds. The playtrough is smooth and immediately understandable, the graphics is very nice and the creatures are hilarious. Really a great entry
This was great. I love that you move automatically, felt like a Disneyland ride. Best photo I got was the Dodo, but no bigfoot. Really clever idea and great execution. Something about the lighting and how the trees were 2D made it seem like a storybook too. Great game!
The graphics were beautiful with a fun colorful mismash between 2d and 3d. A little detail I liked was that the hawk had a shadow. I was glad to see at the end that we could scroll through an album of the photos because I wanted to see them again. I appreciated that the character walked the path automatically so that I could just focus on taking photos. Guy's monolog was funny, though the one line at the end about ramen being back on the menu felt off because he had $27,000 in photos. On the other hand, he definitely could buy a lot of ramen with 27k
I epsecially love how good visual you could make with such simple props. Voice comments is a great touch too. So far the only game I had to give the top scores for the art and sound.
The on-rails movement is a great choice for this game! I enjoyed sitting back and taking pictures, while listening to the funny comments. The one about Bush really got me for some reason  I got 32K, the most expensive ones being of the Bigfoot and Nessie.
Great execution of your ideas here, makes for a fun game that doesn't get old at any point while playing. The dialogue was entertaining, it's a good way to keep interest up during the whole walk. Music was simple but chill, I think that's exactly what it needed to be. And the art and design of the map were very nice, which is quite important for how much focus there is on looking around.
I think more prominant visual feedback about how much money you got from a shot would be a nice addition, maybe even a real time rating about the quality of the shot, to make it more satisfying when you get actually good shots.
Definitely should be proud of what you pulled off. Well done to everyone in your team!
This was incredible, I went in blind and it should have clicked with the name. Love anything with cryptids! Everything worked well, the narration had me laughing out loud. The environment and the characters were amazing. It had everything here, even Fred. Really well done with this.
Very interesting approach to graphics! On one hand it feels a bit weird to see plain sprites in 3D, on the other it's colorful and pleasant to the eye, and in general fits this concept quite well, considering the humour. And yeah, the voiceover is golden!
