Cellmate by thejackimonster 2025-10-08T02:58:14Z

The game feels a little confusing (and I do play solitaire often), i was able to add all the cards in the playing area to the random pile and just cheese it from there because the cards would not stack in the playing area. That said, I really loved the music and the atmosphere!

Tiny Expeditions by bwalter 2025-10-07T08:08:22Z

Oh this is just what I needed after this jam. S-Tier art style, and I'm so glad that this is my last game of the night :relieved:

Wind Collector by MaiMai 2025-10-09T10:13:27Z

It's a very unique and interesting idea for sure, but I had to constantly look at the ground because of the performance issues >.> It's a little barebones, sure, but the bones themselves feel quite good. Would be lovely to see this idea expanded on more :)

Shape Collector by rhewid 2025-10-07T08:06:38Z

I love the simplicity of it and the no-nonsense interpretation of the theme! Sometimes the hit-reg felt a little iffy, so some kind of feedback in addition to the health reduction would have been lovely, but the gameplay is super engaging.

Racoocoo by Tamino Laub 2025-10-07T11:56:22Z

Hey, I've been looking forward to playing this one ever since I saw the devlog posts! The art style during the gameplay feels very crisp, and I adore the collectibles! Some guards do seem to be there right at the spawn of the stage though, which caught me out unluckily :(

Taos K.O. by YogurtTheHorse 2025-10-08T03:54:36Z

Ok wow, this is super engaging, This is probably the game I felt most immersed in by far. AND GOSH THIS BRINGS BACK MEMORIES.

Cryptozootography by Jahwffrey 2025-10-08T03:19:56Z

OH THAT RULED. No notes, this is hands down the funniest game I've played xD (say hi to Fred for me)

Chickens Go Home by cagibi 2025-10-07T00:37:41Z

Hooooly woah, that was so beautiful! You really have a very special aesthetic I can only really aspire towards.

Can you give me a hand gesture? by She Wrote 2025-10-09T07:12:03Z

Oh, that's short, simple and adorable. Really reminiscent of flash games from back then. I loved the music and the vibes a lot!! :D

Kwicc Pik by hugohil 2025-10-09T10:47:44Z

I loved the vibes of it, felt like something out of a y2k-era 3d cartoon title sequence. Driving itself feels a little disorienting, but. it's goblin, duh. xD

God is a nerd collecting video games and such, but by wo_ri_gou_le 2025-10-09T10:26:03Z

Gehe, this was really silly. is the story inspired by real events? :P Cool aesthetic and good music choice, and the VO was a fun touch!

Out Of Energy by Custodi 2025-10-11T04:02:05Z

It's a neat gameplay loop, but the gameplay itself feels like it could be better described from moment to moment. Solid effort otherwise, with cute graphics and good audio!

Staying Alone by ChiFu 2025-10-08T15:54:41Z

This felt tense to play, in a good way. And yeah, like many others pointed out, it reminds me of early 2k flash games

Toy collector by elykx 2025-10-07T08:01:11Z

I love the art style a lot, and the gameplay loop itself feels quite fun! That said, it would be very lovely to have a bit more feedback to certain actions like when buying the collectibles. Pretty cool otherwise! :D

Seven-Day Bargain by Megurt 2025-10-09T10:42:14Z

Absolutely wonderful aesthetics, some music would be nice, but the sound design on its own is quite wonderful. It felt like a tense Balatro, and I was really engaged all the way through.

Monsters in Jars by T4RAN 2025-10-09T10:34:47Z

The monsters are really cute and the gameplay loop itself is quite engaging, and it feels like there's a lot of depth to it!

The Internet Collector by YibiRabbit007 2025-10-08T06:45:49Z

A bit confusing but the docs are quite helpful in getting around! Cool vibes.

The Poem Of Your Life by florianCohen 2025-10-09T03:13:57Z

absolutely wonderful aesthetic! Very elegantly designed.

EMBERS WILDFIRE by einfach 2025-10-09T10:30:57Z

The intro really set up high expectations, but ended up with lackluster gameplay. That said, this was the first time I heard about the Pat Sin Leng wildfire, and my heart goes out to its victims.

BulkUp by naru 2025-10-09T10:49:21Z

x_x i will refrain from voicing my opinions on this one with my partner watching over my shoulder

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-07T04:59:17Z

@ljol3 sorry about that! It seems to be an issue with how the ldjam embed interacts with Chromium based browsers, and I can confirm that the issue does not occur with Firefox. I've notified Mike(the LDJam host) about that. In the meantime, I'd really appreciate it if you tried it on Itch.io!

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-07T05:04:18Z

@maytch Thank you!! Yep, that was all of them. Good job! :D

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-07T05:07:33Z

@el-pepi Yeah, looks like Chromium based browsers don't like the ldjam embed much. :( I've tried pinging Mike over on bsky, but until then, I can only provide an alternative upload on Itch.io. Thank you _so_ much for taking the time to try the game on Firefox! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :3

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-07T08:33:52Z

@cagibi @templarstudios @sharky3188 Thanks!

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-07T11:49:35Z

@tamino-laub @sharky3188 @el-pepi Thank you for your feedback! The first post-jam update, which addresses this + a few other issues is out now!

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-08T02:33:04Z

@pikario sure, here you go! [https://surfacedfox.itch.io/ld58-release](https://surfacedfox.itch.io/ld58-release) I thought the rules allowed bug fixes as long as post-jam updates did not add new features?

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-11T11:07:25Z

@gambal there are 25 to find ;3 Thank you!

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-11T11:09:30Z

@JasmineJ2003 It is a web game-- once you access the itch.io link [https://surfacedfox.itch.io/ld58](https://surfacedfox.itch.io/ld58), there should be a button to play it in your browser itself!

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-11T11:15:09Z

@poboy you would be correct 😅 I used to jam when I was a teenager, but I've removed those games because having my distinct full legal name out there wasn't exactly the best decision in hindsight. I've worked at a game studio professionally for a year, and 3 years ago I joined a company where we use game tech for IRL problem solving. :3 I am working on a larger project with some friends at the moment when I'm off-work, though! This jam project was a part of going back into gaming after spending the past few years in enterprise. Thank you for playing!

Deep Sea by Amanon 2025-10-08T03:07:16Z

Very atmospheric! This is probably the most unique game I've seen on here. I love the vibes, I love how _perfect_ the user interface felt, and I really liked the small learning curve of understanding how to "operate" the submarine.
