This was the most fun game i have tested so far. Great job!
A very humorous and surprisingly deep game. There were so many unexpected delightful moments — the explosions and the second flight mode really got me. From a gameplay perspective, I would have liked a bit more indication of where to fly or drop things. At one point I went too far in the wrong direction and thought, “these distances are huge!” But it’s great that you can skip through the levels and still experience the awesome ending if you get lost.
Great concept and intro into the game! For me personally it was a bit slow, i would have liked to have more plants at the start or just place everything at my own risk and time. But I really like the idea and mood overall!
Really fun game! Played through it, although the last level took me longer than I like to admit. Very nice puzzles, great mood, I really enjoyed it!
@sacramentix That's a good guess!
Spoiler warning:
It's actually made by flipping through sticky notes like a flip book
Thanks for the detailed feedback @genroa , it's very much appreciated! Adjusting the difficulty of the game is a big challenge every time - in the end we play tested so much, we just don't have good judgement for that anymore.
Great concept! Was hooked by the title and was not disappointed. The ending was unexpected but funny. Nice entry, got a good laugh out of me!
I loved everything about it. Excellent design choices, really impressive entry!
Great game! First i tried to make a tower and climb it to esacape the warehouse. It took me a round to understand the mechanics - but maybe I was just a bit biased by our own game :D I played it several times after that, it was a lot of fun!
Very nice, beautifully designed game. I like the idea of zooming in and out of the level :) The way to the key was more fun than the way back, I would personally leave out the way back or add a twist so it doesn't feel too repetitive. Overall a nice game with a lot of potential :)
Very beautiful and polished game! I like all the little details and ideas. The artwork is incredible. Unfortunately, I'm very bad at games like this. I think some sort of life bar/visible progress in battles would have helped me keep my hopes up that I could do it and try a little more often.
I love the art and overall feeling of this game, very inspiring! I think the leaves were all a bit shy in my game, somehow I only managed to trigger a dialog once. I don't know if I never hit the hitbox correctly or if there are characters without dialog. But I can imagine that with more dialog it would be a very relaxing game, great job :)
Very cute art and music! :) In the beginning I thought I had to find a certain balance with the other players. Might also be fun for a little more challenging approach. Got all the hats with my friend :)
Very beautiful and relaxing game :)
Very cute and very fun. The sounds fit so well! I played longer than expected, i got really inspired while playing. Like it a lot :)
Cool mechanics and design! At times I wished I had a some more level of control. I wasn’t always sure what I could do to survive certain situations. Really nice game overall!
Really great take on the theme! The dialogue had me grinning more than once, and the whole thing felt super unique. Loved that I could play around with the mechanics a bit more in the free mode at the end — until I fell off the edge of the Earth. Guess a flat world has its downsides :D
Really cool atmosphere and mood! I love how it takes a dark turn – and the music is perfect for it!
Super impressive – such beautiful storytelling and atmosphere. I absolutely loved the voice acting!
Really interesting and beautiful art style! Speaking from experience, balancing a card game in such a short time is super tough – but this is a really solid foundation. Personally, I would’ve loved to have a bit more choice, like some kind of mana system or limits on how many cards you can play per turn. But overall, super impressive work – excited to see where it goes!
It’s so beautiful! All the little details and animations – amazing work! :) Also really loved how the atmosphere shifts over time, such a nice touch.
This game is seriously addictive! So polished and so much fun. I managed to collect 50, and definitely played way longer than I planned — the whole “just one more round, the next upgrade will do it!” feeling really got me 😅 Such an amazing entry!
Fantastic artwork and atmosphere! So many lovely details and animations. I think for me the game would’ve felt cozier without object colliding with each other, but I still really enjoyed digging through the items and trading them. Such a nice idea and really well executed!
I love the art style and the creative characters! The audio/comments really made the game feel unique, funny and immersive. A very nice experience. Ended up earning a total of $27,199.
Love the different quack sounds — they add so much charm! The watercolor style is an awesome idea. Took me a bit to realize I can’t click the ducks that are too far away, but it’s really impressive how deep the gameplay goes, so many mechanics! The undercover police duck was hilarious 😄 Awesome job!
Such a relaxing game! The artwork instantly hooked me. Took me a bit to realize that from level 2 on I need to click at the top instead of confirming at the bottom, but once I got that, I worked my way up to the leaf blower! Super fun — even if a few flowers might’ve turned into… compost along the way :D Lovely entry!
Very cozy vibe and cute graphics! Interesting mechanic — I managed to get the first flower, but the second one was a bit too hard for me :D
Such a relaxing and super polished game! I caught myself drawing little pictures with the flowers and was rewarded with beautiful butterflies :) Lovely entry!
Very fun tool to experiment with! I also really like the style.
A really well-made puzzle game! Minimalistic, but very cohesive. I spent a long time on level 4 and even thought it might be a bug that I couldn’t guide the line so closely past the barrier. But it was very satisfying to finally get it!
The colored barriers are a cool mechanic. That said, I’m kind of glad not too many levels focused on navigating tightly around them, that part wasn’t as fun for me, while the actual puzzle-solving was much more enjoyable.
A very lovely entry, I’d love to see more levels!
I love the idea and the style, such a beautiful entry! But I wasn’t very successful with the language of flowers — maybe having a fixed order of customers could help with learning it step by step. I did manage to make the bouquet full of love though
A very polished game with some really challenging puzzles! For me, the difficulty curve could have been a bit smoother, I actually found the heart easier than the butterfly. But everything feels very cohesive an it’s fun to figure things out. A great entry!
Very cool game! I played several rounds but didn’t make it onto the leaderboard. A really nice interpretation of the theme.
@wouter52 Thanks a lot for the feedback, really appreciate it!
You can actually discover one more color and we’re glad to hear you’re planning to give it another try!
About the theme: we did come up with the idea during the jam, but it was quite a wild ride. The original concept was about a kingdom where a king uses an abstract map to signal where resources should be gathered. Those resources would then be used to build structures that grant buffs. By day 2, we realized that while the core mechanic was fun, building structures and telling that story was way out of scope.
So we pivoted and kept it simple, turning it into sending signals using color resources instead of building things.
Wow, I’m really impressed by this game. Lots of excellent design decisions and it’s amazingly polished for a game jam. It was really fun to play and draw, thanks for creating it!
A cool idea, very well executed. At first I tried to match syllables to the audio waves, but then I focused on the conversation and that worked much better. Nice story, great sound and awesome artwork!
Very cool style and a really interesting mechanic. I really like the atmosphere it creates!
