Took me a few tries to figure it out, but I loved it in the end. Well done!

willops 2026-10-20 04:18 ♥ 1

Cute entry, and a cool concept! I ended up playing all the way to the end

maksim-terskov 2026-10-20 05:22 ♥ 1

Really cool concept!

astro-astro 2026-10-20 06:42 ♥ 2

Hehe, it was funny!

xlarsi 2026-10-20 09:57 ♥ 1

lovely concept. the first level took me a second, so probably could have done with a tiny bit more hand holding the have the fox move at least once, but I may as well just have been stupid not to figure it out quicker

welovegames 2026-10-20 10:06 ♥ 1

@xlarsi Thanks for the feedback! I fell into the classic designer trap of getting so used to the mechanic that it started to feel obvious. A little more guidance to help players get the character moving for the first time would definitely help. That's useful feedback, and I'm glad you liked the concept!

dywanix 2026-10-20 10:42 ♥ 1

such a lovely concept and artstyle!

nuclme 2026-10-20 11:57 ♥ 1

Very good graphic!

emaigualmc2-art 2026-10-20 14:18 ♥ 1

I’m a fan of old Disney animated films, so I find this game beautiful. I’d love to see classic stories and fairy tales incorporated into the game! The mechanics and the game’s concept are very original and fun. The only thing I’d change is having the art created by humans, but I understand the time constraints of a game jam, jajaSin título.jpg! Great work!

koheku 2026-10-20 14:52 ♥ 1

Aside from the AI generated art, game is very creative, love "layers" mechanics

welovegames 2026-10-20 14:57 ♥ 1

@emaigualmc2-art Thank you for the kind words! I’m a fan of classic Disney animation too, so I’m especially happy you mentioned it. I was wondering whether anyone would notice the reference behind the title—it’s a nod to Disney’s animation archive, “the Morgue”! I couldn’t directly use Disney’s specific adaptations and characters, so I went with an original story. I understand your point about the AI artwork - that’s why I opted out of the Graphics category. I’m glad you enjoyed the concept and mechanics!

welovegames 2026-10-20 14:59 ♥ 0

@koheku Thanks for the feedback! I opted out of the Graphics category because of the AI-generated art. Glad you liked the layer mechanics!

divarium 2026-10-20 15:03 ♥ 1

Cool concept. I like the idea of a simple yet original puzzle that have multiple solutions. I hope you can find illustrators for your next project because your ideas are good and deserve humans hands and mind. Good job !

gamescodedogs 2026-10-20 16:02 ♥ 1

nice concept of using old style cartoon camera setup for puzzles, wish there were more complicated combinations, though!

ao-85 2026-10-20 16:12 ♥ 1

Great job, your game is amazing! I loved playing it, super cool!

amema 2026-10-20 16:24 ♥ 1

I find core mechanics pretty interestingly used, although, i wish game was a bit longer, as puzzles were actully great!

welovegames 2026-10-20 16:25 ♥ 0

@gamescodedogs Thanks for the feedback, Oleg! I actually spent the last day of the jam simplifying the puzzles after a couple of friends playtested the game and struggled to solve them.

welovegames 2026-10-20 16:26 ♥ 0

@amema Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the puzzles. By the way, did you manage to find all three endings?

doridie 2026-10-20 16:50 ♥ 1

I got all the endings but i got the best one first, should have stopped there :D The concept is very creative and the mechanics are very fun and unique. Well done!

tanjou 2026-10-20 16:58 ♥ 1

Actual wonderful concept!

welovegames 2026-10-20 16:59 ♥ 0

@doridie Thanks for the kind words and for finding all three endings! I’m really curious - which one did you like best?

doridie 2026-10-20 17:34 ♥ 1

Flying away on a cloud seemed to me like the best one for the character, but the others were also creative. I would say "meeting him" delighted me the most as a player.

david0k 2026-10-20 18:13 ♥ 1

Wow,that was very cool)

piw 2026-10-20 18:21 ♥ 1

I liked that there were multiple endings

teroflups 2026-10-20 18:45 ♥ 1

игра очень интересная и вайбовая. прикольная идея, что надо слои переключать и их двигать. крутая аурная концовка, а музыка очень спокойная и приятная

mrs-wheelsx 2026-10-20 19:12 ♥ 1

2/3 endings. Just couldn't find the third :P The mechanic is really interesting and makes a unique way to tell a story. The only thing I would ask is for there to be a "undo" button that would take the game back a single input in case you have progressed in a way you didn't intend. But don't listen to me... I just wanted some help finding the third ending ;P

amkingtrp 2026-10-20 19:16 ♥ 1

really well designed, would have liked to see more.

kedikat 2026-10-20 19:58 ♥ 1

Such a wonderful and creative game. I would play a full length game where we get the animation puzzles, but also the real world night guard puzzles. I always wanted to play with a multiplane camera, thank you!

kwetka 2026-10-20 20:43 ♥ 1

Creative mechanics with multiple layers, but a bit difficult to grasp. The game turns into trial-and-error button mashing.

stingdragon 2026-10-20 21:11 ♥ 1

Oh no! I was tricked by a cute cartoon cat! I love the concept and it was fun trying out the mechanics and figure out how it worked.

smdrr11037 2026-10-21 05:41 ♥ 1

An excellent game—so this is how cel-style animation is produced! The sight of that fox standing in front of the door sent a chill down my spine. I’ve only unlocked two endings so far—the ones involving the two folders held by the crow—and I’m not sure how to trigger the third ending.

welovegames 2026-10-21 06:36 ♥ 0

@smdrr11037 Thanks for playing and for the kind words! Here’s a hint for the third ending:

!> In the amusement park level, there’s a folder above the door that you need to guide the character into. You can reach it by placing the trampoline on a higher layer than the wooden platform, or by moving the trampoline and platform cels apart horizontally. After that, get the character onto the Ferris wheel.

welovegames 2026-10-21 06:40 ♥ 0

@mrs-wheelsx Thanks for playing and for the undo button suggestion! Which two endings did you find? There’s also a spoiler-tagged hint for one of the endings in my comment above - maybe that’s the one you’re missing!

tort1lla 2026-10-21 12:59 ♥ 1

Solid jam game! The overall game feel is great, and the artistic choices give the project a lot of personality. Everything comes together into a really cohesive and enjoyable experience. Well done!

grateful-tomato 2026-10-21 13:08 ♥ 1

That's an interesting new mechanic, I like it.

ivankrivenko 2026-10-21 13:10 ♥ 1

What a lovely little game! I really enjoyed the idea of manipulating animation layers to help the cat find his way. It's such a creative interpretation of the Old Tech theme! The whole experience feels like stepping into an old animated film. Great atmosphere, clever mechanics, and a charming story. Really glad I played this one!

nursultan 2026-10-21 15:19 ♥ 1

Really unique and clever concept! Using old-school multiplane camera techniques and operating the cranks to layer the animation cells is such an inventive way to tackle the Old Tech theme. Loved the puzzle mechanics and the tactile feel! Left my ratings! If you happen to have a minute later to check out more entries, we’d love if you took a look at our game Meow Bomb as well. Best of luck with the jam!

artonix 2026-10-21 19:26 ♥ 1

Mechanically this one's pretty interesting, you move layers in a projector to change the size of objects on screen and shift them around to solve some really simple puzzles. It's fun and satisfying to mess with, and even though there's not much challenge, the core idea is really good. There are three endings, and two of the final ones aren't super clear (they're actually kinda understandable, just not explained). Still a neat concept,

nikiroz 2026-10-21 21:56 ♥ 1

Interesting concept

ralex-x 2026-10-21 23:59 ♥ 1

It's too hard for me qwq but overall not bad

applejollygarden 2026-10-22 08:30 ♥ 1

Really cool concept with interesting puzzles!

pazio-di-dante 2026-10-22 09:34 ♥ 1

Really interesting idea and interpretation of old tech. Good field for more puzzles and full game! Well done!

daniel123 2026-10-22 09:41 ♥ 1

A perfect, 5/5 creative idea. Additionally, the AI style in the earlier images is too pronounced and doesn't quite match the later ones; I suggest adjusting the prompts.

paulsams 2026-10-22 14:55 ♥ 1

Механика норм и понятна без обучения - это хорошо. Я, по крайней мере, прошёл её всю, хоть это не вызвало у меня никаких эмоций. Но и не раздражала, что хорошо.

wheelsx 2026-10-22 18:21 ♥ 1

Took a few tries to get all 3 endings, but it was engaging and made me want to find them all

silas-reinagel 2026-10-24 01:42 ♥ 1

Beautiful game! The music (very peaceful piano) and art are fantastic! The puzzle mechanic is unique.

The first puzzle was the hardest, since I didn't realize I could solve the puzzle progressively. At first, I thought I needed one layout that would allow the full-escape sequence. Once I discovered I could solve the puzzle one step at a time, I got going nicely.

I love this concept. I wonder what a fuller game in this style would...

mcinnamoon 2026-10-24 18:12 ♥ 1

Wow, this game is an absolute aesthetic masterpiece! I completely fell in love with the atmosphere and the music. Even if the art was AI-assisted, the final result is just beautiful-huge respect from a fellow artist! The UI is very clean, minimalist, and perfectly fits the overall vibe. If I could suggest a few minor tweaks for a post-jam version: 1. It might be helpful to add small text labels directly on the cassettes/tapes so players instantly know what is on them. I noticed the preview text at the top, but it is not quite intuitive at first glance. 2. A tiny tutorial or onboarding element would be great for new players who might get lost. Maybe adding some subtle pulsing light or blinking animations to active elements (instead of just a hover effect) to guide the player on where to click next. Overall, a stunning and highly polished entry. Incredible job!

pan-pan 2026-10-25 15:26 ♥ 1

The art is amazing, and the whole concept is so creative! 😭❤️ I love the idea of using an old animation camera to interact with a living cartoon. It's such a unique way to build puzzles and tell a story. You can really see how much creativity went into this game. The whole concept feels so original and memorable. Amazing work! 🎨✨

redmorgane 2026-10-25 17:44 ♥ 1

I've never seen anything like this, very good concept, and very well executed! It was easy to understand, and the little scene coming alive are amazing. Well done!
