LD60 — Old Tech (20)

10 Hours per Mile by CaptAndrey 2026-10-29T01:08:32Z ♥ 0

Great use of the old tech theme, quite fun to play and gives a real-time FTL vibe of doing multiple tasks that conflict with each other. Controls are sometimes awkward, sometimes I'm forced to roll a rock away instead of putting down the bucket, and very often I accidentally pick up the bucket that isn't that close when I actually want to start the engine (maybe pre-carrying the water bucket to the middle of the track isn't anticipated?). It might be better to have a separate key for picking up/dropping objects.

It's a nice game and I love it

I am Computer by Ioana 2026-10-21T09:49:07Z ♥ 1

Very interesting! I especially like the terminal down the screen, that really feels like an old computer a lot!

Great graphics and audio, very old tech vibes. The book page flipping can be clearer, took me a few minutes to figure out that you can flip individual pages apart from just jumping to the chapters, and before that I was confused how I should convert the 3 letters to punchcard holes.

The idea of hunting bugs in computer is really humor! It's a little bit tough for me to find all of the bugs, but after a long long time I finally did it!

Neolithica by nathmate 2026-10-20T11:47:29Z ♥ 1

I'm really impressed by the mood and design! Honestly speaking it is a little bit difficult and I staved a lot. But the mood and mechanism is ... actually a little bit scary, in a good way of course. It really put enough stress and immersion

Looks great!

Mindscape by neolog 2026-10-20T11:38:49Z ♥ 1

The vibe is quite intriguing. The color dispersion of character and gray hue really put a special vibe.

GO AWAY by imod 2026-10-20T11:31:59Z ♥ 2

It's SUPER FUN. The music, pixel graph and...interesting mechanism all bind together very very well, and I'm having a lot of fun playing it!

The graph and mechanism is actually quite interesting, though I think the sensitivity is a little bit wierd.

good game! The music is good, and I enjoy searching around the island!

Blackwater by Avi 2026-10-20T11:06:17Z ♥ 1

That's a cool idea! The starting might be a little bit abrupt, but I do enjoy the physical effect of the water!

An Old Joke by DazyLude 2026-10-20T10:58:32Z ♥ 2

Quite an interesting game! I really enjoy the cartoon style of the game, and the conversation is interesting too. Overall I'm having a lot of fun!

JIJI TD by pipetto 2026-10-20T04:51:21Z ♥ 2

Good art and music, overall quite a fun game, and my favorite yet for the "old tech" theme (and also the oldest tech I've seen here). Upgrades are varied and replayable. I think it would be better if there're a fixed number of bonuses and rerolls between rounds instead of relying on your mouse dragging accuracy to get fast card refreshes, and spawn more "slots" cards overall until you can no longer place more of them (I often get too many plates but no slots to put in).

But Buttons by Euler Moises 2026-10-20T01:43:40Z ♥ 2

That's one of the coolest design I've ever seen so far! Putting buttons in buttons( and in buttons again) is Really astonishing!

Nice work! I really like the visual and audio settings in the game. The pixel and tinge theme is very attracting and nostalgic

Morse Strike by estelgames 2026-10-20T00:41:17Z ♥ 1

Connecting Airstrike and morse code is very interesting! Though it may take some time to tap every code correctly, but after playing several round and getting a little bit upgrade, things are getting easier. Anyway, well done!

Telerhythm by baziki 2026-10-20T00:30:34Z ♥ 1

interesting Idea! Using morse code is actually quite interesting. Though the speed might be a little bit fast for me, but it's still a good game!

Hail Mary by Dblazer63 2026-10-20T00:12:38Z ♥ 1

That's TRULY a novel Idea.

The first thing I notice is the music, color adjustment and the way you graph the background. I don't know if my description is proper, but that really looks like a classic universe documentary while looking at the satellite moving further and further.

After playing around a little bit, I'm really surprised by how actually playable it is. You guys really managed to add several distinct target and elements in three days, and it actually worked!
