I was really hyped for this one from the blog posts, it was really fun! I think that I've broken some Geneva conventions by shooting down these sky divers, but I guess north sentinel island never signed it haha
It got real chaotic at the end, I managed to get to 00:20 but sadly I couldn't beat it. Good job!
Hilarious! I love it, graphics is super cool, gameplay hectic and funny. Shooting arrow on ballistic curve is strangely satisfying especially when I hit something. So fun!

Its VERY addictive, i killed like 300 tourist and it was satisfying
Lol, I mean, really cool! Can you actually lose, or not? I reached the end, but I don't know how many tourists managed to land on my little island.
@mugule Itβs not obvious, but game have two endings: one that occurs when the trash level reaches 300 (Lose), and another that happens if you manage to survive for 7 minutes before the island becomes completely covered in trash (win). In endless mode, the goal is to last as long as possible before the island gets buried in trash. "Score" means how many tourists you kill.
What I liked: - DLLS5 - Chinook - Apache
What I'd like improved: - indication of arrival from the other side (although maybe it's intentional so I suddenly discover I have a disco in my backyard) - more modifiers or some kind of progression for the number of arrows per shot/firing speed
Joking aside, the game is relaxing, and the ending is absolutely great!

This game finally solves the mistery on how a Phalanx from bronze age can one shot a Battleship from 20 century in Civilization 1 =D Very cool game, fun to play, proper music and graphics, top entry for no doubt.

Love that I found this game! Fun, an island, and shooting tourists with arrows: everything I like in one package. Seven minutes fly by, and endless mode is seriously addictive.

That DLSS5 option made me laugh out loud. Pure comedy gold. Gameplay feels very nice and snappy. The whole setting and idea fits the theme very well.
10/10. If I could I would have cut trees down and set them on fire to temporarily prevent the tourists from landing

This is the best game. π€ π₯ The animations of the tourists dropping is ridiculously good.
The later waves get absolutely NUTS. I love the attention to detail when the island gets taken over too.
a primitive tribe defending its island from tourists and data centers is a hilarious and weirdly timely idea. the ballistic arrows sound satisfying and the art looks great. i love that it turns into a 7-minute last stand while the island fills with garbage. someone mentioned breaking the geneva conventions by shooting skydivers, which is the best compliment this game could get. did you try longer rounds or does 7 minutes feel like the sweet spot?

this is the great game for jam, easy to understand how to play, nice graphics, great idea and connection to the theme :v
Really great pixel art! Was really fun seeing all the different people/things that were trying to invade. Would have love for the character to animate aiming based on my mouse position, but overall it still worked really well. I ended up spamming arrows, seemed more effective than charging (except for those high up planes/helicopters). Score 231, trash 66. Great job!
That was fun! The pixelart is great with a lot of variety. Love the idea of military helicopters bringing in tourists and of course data centers π.
@perrarancino we tested the difficulty and found that 7 minutes is enough to keep the gameplay from feeling too drawn-out. However, we decided to also include an endless mode with increasing difficulty for those who enjoy chasing high scores.

Lovely game all quality but especially all the sprite animations.
