Amazing visual!
I like simple graphics and interesting concept. I completed the game but didn't get should i use high radio bar near enemy or fine correct ratio.
There is a good start for a puzzle platformer, I think the jump could be improved, right now it is rigid.
It is not easy to get the right frequence and I was too stressed against the two phantoms to make it. :grimacing:
damn! This was so cool, how did you even make it in 3 days <3 Very cinematic platformer. The sound was incredible!
cool idea! i like the art style a lot. vibes reminds me a bit of limbo or inside.. a little bit creepy with the radio sound and blacked out enemies. rain sounds added to the atmosphere. the jumping was a bit stiff but did the job. it was a little stressful when i was trying to find the signal to kill the enemy when another one came from behind me, had me frantically scrolling the mouse wheel! the ending was done well, i wanted to keep going though. nice jam!
The visuals and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic!
The visuals and atmosphere were amazing! I got a little stuck at the lock thing as there wasnt too much indication what door you need to tune the radio. Otherwise nothing bad to say, very polished experience!
Cool game! Took me a little time to figure out the signal mechanic because I could jump past the obstacle and encountered the monster. Half expected a monster to spawn when picking up the key haha. You definitely managed to capture the spirit of horror games so 5 stars on mood from me. My only complaint is that the noise at the end when you activate the tower is a little too rough on the ears. Good job on your first game jam.
@ulziton Thank you!!
@vydra You need to get the right frequency for every enemy and glitched object (the log and the door)!
@xotraz Thanks! We agree the jump is a bit off, we'll improve that next time ^^. (Also, glad to hear you were stressed at that part, that was the intention!)
@christina-antoinette-neofotistou Thank you!!
@olddog Thanks! The visuals are made by @7moons ^^
@theparticularpixel Thank you! When we got the theme of the Jam we agreed on do something similar to Limbo and maybe inspired in Little Nightmares!
@geeni Thanks! The door you needed to tune appear with a glitched shader, maybe it wasn't very noticeable because of the background. Glad you liked it!
@decentsauce Thank you! For next time we'll adjust better the hitboxes and the volume of sounds hahaha
Good graphics. The mechanics are interisting but I didn't understand how the enemies work.
@memoloop You need to stay close to the enemy while the radio has the correct frequency (varies with different enemies)!
Very nice and and very good mood, I really liked your interpretation of Signal, good job
Nice work :D. i'd tweak some things like the jump or the time needed to glitch an enemy, but overall great job!
Web version seems to be stuck in the loading screen on Ludum dare website. So I played on itch.io. Great mood. You lost me in the fighting of 3 running enemies (a bit stressful while playing with a touchpad :laughing:). I suggest you had some visual or sound feedback when the enemy is about to touch you and you're about to die (is it a oneshot?). I found myself surprised to die sometimes. overall, very great job!
@kevin-meissner Thank you!
@pkalaizich Thanks! Yeah as I said above some things can be improved! Glad you liked it tho!
@flowerfield-games You're right, the Ludum Dare website didn't quite load the game correctly, I just edited it so it doesn't appear. And yes, it is a oneshot! You need to run in the final room to get to the lever in the tower! Maybe more indications would've been nice! Thanks for playing!
Great mechanic with the radio! Jump is a bit bugged but pretty cool!
Nice work! I wish there is a way to adjust the scroll sensitivity.
Love the artsyle & the idea. Ngl that last encounter creeped me out a bit haha. The ambient & overall vibe was really good for the idea.
I loved the visual art. The enemies are creepy. Very good aesthetic overall.
Very nice visuals and mood! It looks pretty polished. Congratulations on finishing your first LD game!
fun idea! I really like it
Well done! Unique and interesting radio mechanics as an interesting way to do discovery! Good mood too!
Cool, I love the style. It's moody and a little creepy. I couldn't get past the radio tower, the guy behind me was too fast for me to find the right frequency and stay ahead of 'em. Using the scroll wheel to scroll through radio frequencies is a creative idea, feels very immersive!
Wow very nice art and sound, Reminds me slightly of oxenfree and the playdead games. If you guys ever expand on the idea I think solving some light puzzles with the radio would be good, maybe some platforming too. I will say the character animation seemed a bit stiff, still nice work I enjoyed it.
@danibeve thank uu!! yeah the jump needs some love, we'll fix it in a post-jam update
@brucezoom tysm! that's a great idea, we'll add scroll sensitivity to settings
@destic aaah thank you!! the last encounter was supposed to be creepy so glad it worked
@martinfernandezgd thank you! the enemies were so fun to design, happy to hear they feel creepy
@franklyn01 tysm!! it is our first LD and this means a lot
@tykki19 tysm! we wanted the radio to feel like the main character almost, happy it worked
@jka aaah ty!! yeah that last part is tough 😅 the scroll wheel mechanic was something we were really excited about, glad it feels immersive. you almost got the end tho!
@oxnh thank uu so much!! oxenfree and playdead are huge inspirations so that means everything 🥹 we'd love to expand it with more puzzles, definitely on our minds
Cute and scary. Little Nightmares 4 with a radio? :D
Loooove the atmosphere of this one! It has a spooky cuteness that reminded me of Limbo in the best way. And the gameplay is really unique- I've never seen a mechanic quite like the radio dial. Great job!!
Very cool style and a really interesting mechanic. I really like the atmosphere it creates!
Visuals are nice, the concept and atmosphere are nailed. However, the lack of hp and huge tuner sensitivity are annoying sometimes
i really like the idea of making glitched objects appear!
